It would be cool if they added a feature to the paths so that when they were super steep they automatically become stairs.
There are some paths on the workshop that do exactly that.

I don’t want a skylines 2, I want “The Performance Update” that overhauls things to a degree without breaking all DLC we’ve paid for!
but I think they need to rewrite the engine... and the only way to do that, is to release a new game...
A lot of the dlc has been overhauling basic systems in the game, I'm sure if they released a sequel these dlc's would probably be included in some ways and might be even better.
That wont work because skylines 2 Probaply will have a diffrent game engine wich the current one cannot be changed to.
@@allthatremainsx6 I don’t think so. Look at the Sims games from EA. Every new iteration started with a basic game lacking a lot of features. It’s a very lucrative business model. And also, Paradox Interactive does this dlc policy with most of their titles anyway.
I mean releasing the same game on a new engine and just adapting old DLCs without need to pay again, would be the best way to do it. Basically a new gen port. But you know they all love the money.
3:00 No need for a water park themed expansion this couple mods instantly create very fun and no doubt exceedingly safe water slides people can enjoy on their way to work!
Well, that was really more a graystillplays style of Crossing :D
One think I recently learned from ImperialJedi's videos: The tram-only roads work like pathways (at 12:35 you can see people already using it as such). So if you make the area around the tram line a park, you can snap park assets to it. This sounds like it would fit to what you've built here. (You can take entry fee, but don't have to.)
So you can set up an LRT system where people pay to enter the station instead of boarding a vehicle, like in many metros around the world
I came here to make that comment and you said it better than I would.
That first person view of that tramway took me back to Boston and its MBTA Green Line's rebuilt Arborway stop at Forest Hills station and its Riverside branch 🥰
How do you set up a standalone entry fee system? is there a mod for it?
@@FebiMaster I meant the entry fee for the park area.
Love the tram line! TeaVille is slowly becoming more and more 'real'! I think you could also add a cycle path to the side and then really get some use out of it!
I would be interested in seeing a traffic percentage before and after projects like this where there is limited road impact but moves a lot of people
Me, a Norwegian living near Bergen with an interest fir Cities: Skylines: "Oh, Biffa has uploaded a video that just happens to have the Bybanen in the thumbnail. Gotta check this out!"
I'm from Oslo, and still got somewhat patriotic seeing Bybanen. Even though it's from Bergen..
I was to Bergen in 2017, but I missed this. Wish I had more time there, only had one evening to look around.
I'm an Icelander living in Bergen, I basically instant clicked after noticing Bybanen in the thumbnail
Bybanen thumbnail, but no mention of it in the video? Or maybe I missed it... :(
I think the one design at 24:40 is one of our (from Bergen) maintenance karts that they use irl. If I'm not mistaken, they had fewer seats in the line overview since they aren't meant for public transport normally.
20:54 Add a stop behind the parking lot. First, why not? Second, you can then control the direction the tram goes around the parking lot.
Bothers me that it makes a left to enter the loop and a left to exit the loop...
It's Saturday. Which basically means I look at my phone all day until Biffa's video comes out. Lol 😆. Great vid Biffa!
Enjoy your weekend too 😁
we may not have decent health care here in the Unites States, but at least his video is up when i get up in the morning. that's a virtue of my timezone, but...
Ohh I know I am Sir@@BiffaPlaysCitiesSkylines of the Teamug.
And what a nice informative video I must write.
But seriously since a couple weeks at a point in every day I think either: "yeas today is biffa day" or "aww today isn't biffa day".
But, are they practicing Social Distancing.?. 🤔
TeaVillager: "Why take the tram if I can be the tram?"
This series keeps getting better and better... I love Teaville :D
How did you get Biffa’s icon in your name?!
The train station was a couple roads down, you can connect that too.
looks amazing. Makes me hop back onto the game everytime, and I always end up disapointed by my building skills
23:17 The roundabout has lane connectors set up in such a way that traffic cannot access the highway ramp road on the bottom.
That train in the thumbnail where it says bybanen on is in my hometown
The paths could be lowered a bit so it's not a 45* incline.
Just imagine it's stairs.

Really love this series and the city, but I think its missing one major thing: A central tourist point and something that can become a symbol for the city. New York have the the statue of Liberty, Paris have the Eiffel Tower ect. But what does Teaville have?
A giant teacup or teapot???
That skyscraper-sized rock would've been insane in real life :P
Looking at this maybe a nice new area for the Eden Project? Looks like it increases land value and the influx of people. skylines.paradoxwikis.com/Monuments
If you tidy up that big oval-about a bit it could be the first union-jack-about in Teaville.
I think this is my favourite video of yours to date. The drive-through on the trams just looked so good! Your city looks amazing.
You should also up the speed limit on the tram only tracks to 60 or 70 since the vanilla tram highest speed is 100kmh
So belgium has the longest tramline in the world as it runs our entire coastline. Now in most cases the tram would indeed stick to a 60-70 km/h speedlimit as there simply isn't enough space between tramstops to accelerate to higher speeds. However, there are a few spots on the line where the distance between the stops is long enough for the tram to go faster and reach speeds over 70km/h.
The vanilla 100km/h speedlimit therefor is actually realistic.
Absolutely loving the teaville series, keep it up! Your city is so pretty and there's just something very satisfying about seeing all these little additions being plopped in.
How about having an oval-about walking path above the oval-about road, without having it look like a spider web hahaha
I do kinda like the chaos of the spider web tbh. But yeah that probably needs to be cleaned up.
Immediately loved the crazy oval-about walkway - The Jackson Pollock Pedestrian Walkway.
Could probably do without all those paths, just a single walkway from the metro to the passenger train station with a few on-ramps.
That's already been asked for on the mod's comment page. Tracking issue is github.com/kianzarrin/PedestrianBridge/issues/4
High quality videos and great content. The brilliant integration of new transportation options like the tram in this episode and the overall design of TeaVille are staggering, it feels like it was all planed. Entertaining and inspiring ! Thank you 😊
Well... this was satisfying to watch
Love the tour as it shows how realistic the city is, you just could feel the vibe.
I have learned a ton from binge watching Biffa during the quarantine. Every time I watch one of your videos I end up adding another mod (or two) to my own game. Thank you for being there in a time of need, good sir!
Thanks for more great content. You and a few other cities content creators have influenced me to get the game and start my own series. Although I’m only on console I’m taking your tips with me :)
Thanks Biffa, another great vid to while away a sunny afternoon in lockdown. Much appreciated.
Really enjoy these "project" type videos in your cities. Made me rethink how I build my cities now. Evolved from most efficient fast growing cities, to ones that I actually would like to live in, with many thought thru spots.
That''s a very nice video, I love the way you added trams in he city. Keep going!
Thanks.
In my city downtown area I did a ringroad tram line to avoid excess passenger on the metro they love it! I think il do a suburban tram ringroad also
You make it seem so easy!! The city is absolutely stunning!
13:10 We just not gonna talk about the flying car...
Hey Biffa! Love that you're using the pedestrian builder mod. Keep in mind that it will only work on roads that have sidewalks. So it will not work on highways. Also, it won't work on dead ends since the sidewalk wraps around.
13:09 that flying car in right corner tho xD
Fantastic video Biffa! Your tramways look mega! Will be making some tram only routes myself tomorrow.
My daughter has been sleeping through your calming british voice since she was born 5 months ago. Also, I`m enjoying it. Especially your Teaville series. Thanks mate - keep doing what you`re doing!
Love the cloud layer- and those clouds so good
Loved the quality and content of your Video Biffa Thank you for making my quarantine better 😁
Looks wonderful! I like the new tramline you built. It looks like the Council Park Maintanance have missed trimming trees and bushes in a few spots :-D
Strange how the tram line chose to turn left after the first university stop, then go around the square to cross over itself before making the second university stop...That pedestrian bridge mod is cool.
just love the ride on the trams that was cool best part was on 20:16 by the water , great job, thanks biffa
I could watch those trams all day, seriously! And going over the water is just gorgeous I love it!!
Yes!!!! So excited for this video! Biffa, you always make me so happy. Thanks! :)
in reference to the "oblong about" what i like to do with large roundabouts is make a small park in the center, i think it would fit well in the center and make it feel less baron.
It is in the middle of an industry and would feel out of place.
I think you mean barren … but yeah, this area lacks something. Probably some high vegetation and small rocks would do the trick already.
Very glad you build a tramline in your amazing city! Well done! :-D
Now you could extend it much further and make tramstops in the middle of roundabouts with pedestrian bridges to connect it all.
I've been doing that in every city that i make and it works/looks very good! ;-)
been watching for years, only getting better and better and i still love citites as well, much thanks to your videos biffa! greetings from sweden :)
The tram is called Bybanen. it goes in the city of Bergen in Norway. Pretty cool to see it in the game. Great vid!
I loved the POV ride! Especially the elevated section amongst the treetops near the university :)
I would enjoy using this route in real life!
LOVE trams, gave me some great ideas there, thanks Biffa!
I'm moving in a couple of months and watching Biffa's videos calms me down!
Lovely vid Biffa! I did notice that where the tram turns around at the hub... they cross oncoming traffic. You might be able to alleviate some traffic by reversing the direction that loop takes.
I' really love to see a cycle path along those tram lines!
Please use move it, to lower the hights of the pedestrian crossings :)
That's the award winning light rail that is used in Bergen - Norway! What a surprise to see biffa using that vehicle!
I don't even play this game but somehow your videos have become my little slice of me time at the end of the day. I make a big cup of tea, put on my headphones, sit back in my chair, and enjoy a few satisfying moments of peace. Thank you, Biffa.
Love that you use the «bybane» tram from Bergen, Norway
Thanks for sharing Biffa, I really enjoyed watching you build this tram line. I'm still in love with #TeaVille!
If I lived in this city, I would love to take the tram. The tree-lined area is beautiful. The city views are incredible... and I learned about some mods I'm likely to pick up. Thanks, Biffa!
One of your trams has a smaller capacity (90) than the others (+-200 I think)
Love your videos!! Always good news when I see that you have uploaded a video!
23:17, the southern exit of your roundabout is not used by anybody, because no one is allowed to turn right :D
I saw that too, Hugo can’t go there!!! Then I was playing last night, added a road and used roundabout builder for a new roundabout near my industrial area. Then all the trucks started taking a longer route through a residential area. Roundabout builder did the same thing to me, only allowing traffic straight through and no right turns onto one road. I tried using TMPE to change it but it would not allow it and gave me an error message. I had to delete that section of the roundabout and draw it back in. Some sort of glitch in roundabout builder.
Namaste. It's always refreshing to take an hour or so to cogitate on biffa plays city skylines videos during these insane times. 🙏🏽Namaste.
Thanks Biffa, the best video so far in your city. My dad is in an interest group called Trams4Norwich and I just wonder if they could pay someone to build the city and routes to show what it could be like with trams! Might be an excellent way of demonstrating to councils, central government and the public.
I dont comment often on your videos. But just wanted too say, that of all the content you bring out i enjoy the city building the most. I dont even play city skylines anymore... but what would make the series even better. Is that you should try to make it look a little more realistic. Your bridges over bridges. With trains etc... the positioning of you crossing the water and such. Makes me chuckle sometimes. That could be a fun challenge. Make the city look more realistic. Does NOT mean take out blimps and such 😂 keep does fun things in! Kind regards from Belgium.
NIce Work. Currently working with the Tram-model called Variobahn Bergen Bybane irl. Was the reason i saw the video actually
Looking forward to using the auto path mod Thank you for sharing that.
Nice! The Tram skin Biffa is using is from my hometown of Bergen, Norway
I just love to tram lines like this ! It looks really good in Teaville !
Also i am from Dortmund in Germany, where one of ur Tram models, the one with DSW in the name is from ! Wich stands for Dortmunder Stadtwerke ( Dortmund public transportation ). Love to see my hometown tram drive through Teaville !
Great fun watchin ur videos! Thx and keep it up
Thanks for the tips on the new mods! I just added 16GB of memory so I really need some help to slow my computer down again ;-).
I love your teaville episodes! We don't have trams were I live, so I tend to forget they exist in the game :P
Great episode biffa, love a public transport and walking episode!
Oh Yas!! Love this tram build, my little sister and I are enjoying
23:40 You put the elevated walkways under an unprecedented stress test! Maybe the developer should consider adding a customizable number of junctions for people like you & oval-abouts.
I love this series so much!
hahaha finally - you know what I mean, Biffa! :) 1 down plenty more to go :)
something to keep in mind is that tram tracks do have sidewalks, and you can put crossings on them, so you don't necessarily need pedestrian bridges. Something else is that while trams do interfere with traffic, well, which is worse, 1 tram or how many cars? :)
Wow, that's crazy how many peeps are using the Tram. Maybe branch some more walks ways off the tram road since so many peeps are walking along it. Perhaps add a bike lane next to the line. Awesome video bro👍
I lived in Scotland for a little while, and the way the tram runs parallel to the main train lines is so reminiscent of Edinburgh!
that tram is from my home town! Bybanen represent!
Yes! Bybanen indeed.
@biffa plays indie games: to be authentic, you should make it a return line, only running in mixed traffic in the city centre, exclusive traffic in the suburbs, keep stops in one minute distances and almost no incline.
Kan you name a stop 'Spelhaugen'?
I don´t see the People build TwoLane-Tracks for the Metro, most build a Roundcourse, but in real is Two Lane straight from A to B and go to turnaround and go B to A. You are the first i see you build a Loop. Great Job
Theres a nice grass track asset in the workshop by clus that works really well in larger grassy areas with some trees, less imposing than the concrete. Incidentally, i tried the tram track in the metro interchange thing when sunset came out and loved it, especially if you can find a wide road tram track with platform pieces rather than just stop flags.
This is nice!!!! Awesome city and cool transport
16:39 - That is the Bergen light rail from Norway :-D Same livery at least.
Yes it is. You can even see the "Bybanen" logo at 16:40
Great vid Biffa! Hope you enjoy VE Day yesterday. Have a great weekend yourself!
Wow, very nice. I started playing C:S a week ago
Your tram-line looks really nice. And I have also learned something new. I also use the tram often, but mostly just on the 4-lane-road, sometimes the 2-lane-road but never offroad. If you know what I mean. And so I never knew this will also be used as a walking path.
I love watching Biffa's videos, they're so entertaining and relaxing. But then I get super frustrated that not only my computer can barely run the game (even though it can run games like Witcher 3 on high settings pretty well) but also because I can never build cities beautiful like that =_=
Really enjoyed the Tram Build, it worked out really well. I couldn't play this game myself as my OCD would send me into meltdown
Brilliant video! Love it! 8:18 It's possible to put a tram tracks through the parking? 13:25 continue walking path to cross the road, 13:33 What about adding an extra stop here?
My weekend has been great so far! All of my mom's siblings came into a group video chat and we talked for an hour or so, and I managed to trick the software into making me appear upside down throughout!
Dont do that! Your siblings would think you moved to Australia!
Love the new trams. Getting some good ideas for my city
I think a mini elevated walkway roundabout in the centre of the oblong-about would make hooking up to the numerous spurs of walkway a bit neater and more visually interesting. You could perhaps have a small feature at it's centre so citizens have something pretty to admire on their travels.
Bake ‘N’ Smoke great video biffa!! OVERCHARGED EGG be having good videos just like you so i usually wait for either his or your videos
That green strip could have also look really nice with a canal.
sitting on top of the tram and watching it do its loop made me homesick. teaville is beautiful!
We want more!!! Great vid! :D
Coming out of the city feels like a roller coaster. Fun!
Looks like you need more pedestrian access along the long straight. Those walking paths were so popular before you added the lines that adding more pedestrian access will probably lower crowding on at the tram stops.
@Biffa - for the parts where your trams do the circle return. Remove parking forcing the cars to the kerbside lane and allowing the trams to flow ever more efficiently. I noticed that was your only real snarl area and it would be immediately fixed. Near the transport hub circle you have 2 purpose built car parks which work for parking, cars dont need to be parked on the road too. Also change the direction of the loop you have a cross over from right to left etc.
Love you videos Biffa!! Only have city-skylines on my Xbox. Saving up for a good pc. All the way from Australia 🇦🇺 keep up the good videos.
I've been playing Destiny 2 raids with my clan while watching the Teavillle playlist on my second monitor. Absolute bliss
I love that automatic walk path-mod. Use it on all intersections that are busy or I think will get busy in the future. Works brilliant on even the weirdest intersections and roundabouts!
