    Only people who run, no matter what your level is will appreciate how incredible these athletes really are. Remarkable.

      running 5km was a must every Wednesdays. 10 km every last week of the month. i remember how my lungs felt after every run. And i was from a national school in kenya....

    That workout was something else! The hard pace was fast, but what's crazy is the easy pace was still plenty fast. Recovery at 5:40 pace haha.

      I think I could do 1km at their easy pace as long as I had the rest of the day to recover.

    Most of their shoes were so worn out! Soles were coming off, some shoes were out of shape too, yet the runners were doing fast pace. Man if these were worn by us for daily training, they would've been thrown away long ago

    • @lerrygindgren2076
      @lerrygindgren2076 5 років тому +2

      it also helps that they're running on dirt a lot, where it doesn't matter as much if your shoes are worn out but if you're running on roads in more developed countries, it's gonna be more painful and dangerous to run on worn out shoes

  • @bbjonas4233
    @bbjonas4233 7 років тому +9

    I feel like I have running form like them (not as fast of course) when I run down hills... The quick turnover, leg pull, lean, etc... If I could just transfer that to the flats!! They make it look so easy!

      If they didn't make you pay anything, they wouldn't be able to create a business model to go to Kenya and other places and film these sorts of things in the first place.

    15km with 1km hard pace and 1km moderate pace on a hilly route. The only problem for me is I have to carry a hydration bag while doing this workout and it quite hard to do it because the hydration bag will bounce.
