The United States is HUGE so make sure you don't plan a trip that's too big. Next year I'll be doing a roughly 4,000 mile road trip and I still won't make it to the north west, northern midwest or the north east.
God bless Al's Bootery for sure... I can only imagine that just the cost of inventory is crippling...Imagine all those different style boots they have displayed multiplied by all the sizes a particular style comes in...That's a lot of boots, a lot of inventory overhead for sure. Trying to compete with online cheap imports, and changing styles, hopefully they own the building and property....Having a full service repair shop is so rare also.
Thanks so much Jeff! I'd love to come to El Paso. Lucchese is on the list. I just found a place in Boston that carries them so I hope to get some reviews up soon!
We have a local cobbler in Wheeling wv, it really is a dying breed. I never thought I would be so into boot history and repair. But something about roots and tradition that makes professions like this great. I will never buy Chinese junk boots that can't be repaired again.
When I visit America, I will go to this Boot Store! I think I am going to find a nice pair!
That would be a good choice. This is one of the better boot stores I've been to!!

Your reporter skills are on par. I like how you stood next to the $300-$700 boot stand lol That was one catchy song. Keep it up
Thanks! It's definitely taken some time to figure out the right questions to ask and I'm still learning. Glad you like the song!
Loved the tour. All the best Jill!
Had to get some footage of the Hondos in there! This is a good store to have your boots!

Nice to see independent retailers surviving. I’ll bet it smells great in there! I have the tan shafted Luccheses on the top row.
That's a great boot! These western stores are my favorite to go in. The smells, the expertise, the boots! Everything!
I do have the same boots as well, but in a 7 toe.
Nice song.
