The Mummy 1 & 2 are such masterpieces that have stood the test of the time that they both are deservingly considered classics now. These movies never get old. And Brendan Fraser has such a magnetic presence on-screen. He's one of my most favorite Hollywood actors of all time.
I have always loved the fact that when Evy falls, Rick jumps after without any hesitation or even grabbing hold of something first. Then later she does the same for him.
This fight scene was my favourite. As a kid I wondered why Ancksunamun wasn't the protector of the bracelet as she was the better fighter and have Nefertiti his own daughter protect him but if Ancksunamun became the protector of the bracelet I can only imagine how terrible that would have been. Even as a kid I could imagine her and Imhotep doing something crazy with it.
Sooo when Anuksunamun soul merges with her future self, did she displace the soul of her incarnate? Like that girl stopped existing now that she’s completely become her past self
She (future self) technically never existed. She was just a soulless husk until Imotep reunited her body with her soul. She was only half of person. Basically the opposite of the ritual in the first movie
