Evelyn Carnahan O’Connell is one of the best written female characters in cinema. She’s feminine but she also kicks ass when absolutely necessary. Nothing like these nauseating girlbosses that’s flooding the movie market today.
Love how he catches both snake & the knife then throws them back at the bad guys. Rachel Weisz is GORGEOUS. Still have a crush on her. Good to see Brendan Fraser back. They should bring them back for another The Mummy movie where they left off. But no that Alex guy in The Mummy 3.
I'm curious about the big enforcer guy Lock-Nah. Was he once a Medjai before defecting to the Cult of Imhotep? If that is true then it would make sense of his rivalry with Ardeth Bay.
They never elaborate, just that he works for the curator of the British Museum. The movie could’ve used more background, as it is mostly a lesser version of The Last Crusade as is; two groups chasing after a treasure that is not ensured for either.
The Lock-Nah guy and his peeps resemble the same dudes in the following scorpion king movie so maybe they aren’t in the Imhotep cult but rather in that other group.

I am so excited to see the return of rick and evie o' Connell in the next mummy movie because now I think the rock wants to come back and do more of the mummy movies since the mummy returns came out 23 years ago and also I hope that their son alex from the mummy returns comes back also because he was more funnier than the older alex from tomb of the dragon emperor which the movie was a total failure without rachael weiez but since there is rumors that since another sequel is happening that they are going to come back and make the next sequel better than the third movie so rick and evie I look forward to see you guys return for another adventure again and with both evie's brother and rick's brother-in-law back on board and rick's medjai friend who was suppose to return but he didn't.

They remind me of fhe kindda film which would wow school kids via screen test and Mike rod. the point being.... a decent film franchise which is worthy of supplanting Indiana jones (as there's only guy who can fill that roll)...
