We're proudly back.
Thanks a lot.
Give me some training tips for sales
I'm just B1 in english and will work on a semi-bilingual call center. That kind of situation is one of my biggest fear haha, it was really interesting and educational to look how you try your best to solve it
Hi Wulfrank,
Glad you found it educational and interesting, please stay tuned and help us out by hitting the like button and if feasible the subscribe button as well.
We are uploading different scenarios as the time goes by.
Excuse me Wulfrank, where do you work at? Which call center? I'm looking for a one too, I live in CDMX
Awesome, we came up with it so you'll learn more voca.
I need to learn so much now I know.
Now you got it to learn from it.
Great video, I work in hotel reservations, and this scenario has happened to me countless times, best thing to do is remain patient as frustrating as it may be for you, it's much more frustrating for the guest as they need help from you with something and they're trying to get you to understand them. Just apologize and ask if they can very slowly spell out the name or info. Eventually you'll get it. But I liked this video a lot. 👍
Hi Pink,
Excellent piece of advice, I'm more than sure that this will be useful for a lot of people who want to dabble in this field.

You guys are flabbergasted 👌🏾 💥 the vids are so useful I learn plenty vocab.
So many useful vocabulary, thanks guys.
Hava a nice day.
Thank you for the great support.
Locos, glad you're back 👍🏼
Thanks, so are we.
Out of both the speakers, Joshua's latin accent is the most obvious. However, I don't mind it at all because he's so skilled in fluency. So , If someone granted me a wish to choose whether getting fluent or having an english native accent, I'd definetly rather get the fluency because you can express yourself accurately.
Don't be mad with my comment, please. I am just putting into practice the grammar structure that I've been reading up on since the afternoon. I respect your work tremendously, guys. I also look up to you both equally because of your great efforts in helping us out.
A lot of good vocabulary as always. Great guys

This was great 🔴
Thanks.
Man! That was thought!!
You mean it was well thought out?
What do you mean?
New sub here, great channel guys.
Welcome to our channel.
Hola muchachones una pregunta.
Que significa esa expresión que uso Joshua.
In a jiffy?
Gracias
Nosotros = Big wheels in the call center industry
Teachers = Teaching people who are beginners.
How much I have to learn
Thanks for the scenario
Don't mention it.
Bite a bullet me gustó mucho esa frase.
Great!!! Best regards.
So great guys 👍🏼
Gracias por el apoyo
Awesome video guys
Keep doing good job
But the phrase Joshua said in a jiffy is slang or phrasal verb?
Hi Cristian,
This phrase is informal, BUT it's a friendly expression.
If you say this phrase to a native they will smile at you immediately.
Because it's a warm and friendly phrase that they usually use as a cooling element in a conversation.
They will feel so much comfortable and safe while talking because this implies you've got a deep understanding of the language.
Feel free to use it to impress anyone around you.
Both are great 😀
Good looks.
Hi
Rumpelstiltskin loved this
Thanks.
Guys I missed you a lot.
So did we.
A big thanks to you.
That's bomb
No put you! Saludos...
Hola Jesus.
idioms.thefreedictionary.com/put+(one)+on+hold.
Muchas gracias! La idea es aprender! Los sigo siempre y he aprendido mucho... Un abrazo!
That's great! Much appreciated 👍👍🇺🇲
Warm greetings from Malaysia. Thank you Emanuel and Joshua for all the videos..could you please explain what is the 'jiffy' meaning?
Hi Syumul,
Thanks for dropping that beautiful comment.
In a jiffy is a synonym of in a moment.
👍🏾😀

What is the meaning of Let's ride the bullet?
Sigamos adelante o Vamos a por ello?
Hi guys from HPN
I have been watching this podcast for a couple of hours ..
Then i found somewhat weird in the joshua's speech as he said " I will database here and see what happen "
Let's go guys
Please me help out ?
Hello Reymond.
Yes, it is also used as a verb, meaning to put data into a database.
😊😊👍
Keep it up!!
Don't give up.
would explaing this frase i´m npt grasping anything,......
thank you
Que significa doesn't stick a candle
the costumer speaks like Sean paul XD
Chamos. Colocaron traducción doble y eso es molesto. Como quito eso? ??
👍👍👍👍
Hope you like the new video.
Hola hola. Como traducirian esta frase "it came to a standstill
" que no termino de comprenderla Lol.
Hola, standstill situation se refiere a la condición en la cual no hay nada de movimiento o actividad en lo absoluto.

LOOOOL me a go sue you p.... (typical response)
Could you tell me what does mean hit the roof?
Hello Rene.
It means to suddenly get angry.
when you say: i thought to myself it means to consider something or what?
Hello Manuel
It means to have an inner monologue; to make a statement to oneself in one's mind so in simple words he meant something he brought to his mind
Manuel,
When a person says that, he or she is implying that they were talking to themselves pondering or reflecting about a certain situation.
In order words we say this when we reconsider, take in account or reflect on all the possible facts.
Es español si hablas sería:
(Me dije a mi mismo) en reflexión
@@HipronarySchool you're the best. 👏💪
What language did the customer use?
It was Jamaican Patois.
Guys each time you upload a video I realize that I don't know anything.
But the takeaway is that you're learning from our videos.
I wasn't able to understand anything :"v .
The caller was speaking Jamaican Patois which is a variation of the English language.
Joshua mi amor imposible
Love sometimes is hard to understand.
@@HipronarySchool not..if yoy be my love i can understand you better than ever...joshua i wanna travel to your country,,,becausa i love..,.
What does coned off mean ?
When a street is coned off it means that police officers or road workers place cones along the road to either partially close one lane or a part of it.
Sometimes, police officers cone off the street in an attempt to have reckless drivers pull over and write them a ticket.
@@HipronarySchool Thanks a lot.
Some one of here knows what is: Doesn't stick a candle? With google translate, with google with everything i've been unable to comprehend at the 100 percent the meaning of this phrase regrettably, do somebody could help me out? I would be rather grateful
Sorry but me iether, it was really difficult to understand
What does skin of my teeth mean?
It means barely or narrowly.
Let me explain it...
When you face a difficult situation and you only just manage to do it.
I mean you were only able to do it after suffering difficulties but you were able to overcome them.
@@HipronarySchool I got you, broh. Gracias mi pana.👏

...
You have bad audio quality!!!
Hi Jose,
Thanks for dropping a comment and leaving us your feedback.
Nonetheless this is made on purpose since our channel is for enhancing English in general but primarily for improving skills in a call center environment.
There are not high quality sound calls, on the contrary all calls have a bad signal and low quality sound.
People have different accents, there are a lot of noise in the background and you're surrounded by 100 coworkers while listening to the customer.
So how are you supposed to have a good quality sound during a call?
In fact that's the reason why you see a lot of people raising their hands in a call center (begging for their team leader's help) because they are not able to understand the caller.
That's why is highly recommended practicing your English listening skills in an open space crowded with people speaking at the same time.
Or else you won't be able to understand anything during a call and will be wondering why are you stuck in English.
There are a lot of good content through the internet with high quality sound and so many goody 2-shoots but that's not real man just a mirage.
Not everything is rose color.
