Esto es lo mas cercano a la realidad que he visto, palabras que salen un poco de lo tradicional de: porque deberiamos? Y esas preguntas simples que son faciles de entender. 👍👍

    1. She's been cooped up in her office all day = Cooped up is like occupied or busy?
    2. Since our things are pretty hectic in the office = ya que las cosas están bastante agitadas en la oficina.
    3. what are the major yardsticks for a person to make out and grow in a job position? = Would you mind if you could say this sentence in other way to understand it well?
    4. I outwitted my boss and accounted for the whole situation. = Could you say in other way?
    5. How would you go out stablishing your credibility quickly with the work team? = ¿ Como le harías para establecer tu credibilidad rapidamente con el equipo de trabajo? This was the hardest to assimilate, it's a little hard to understand it for the first time.
I'm a little sad because I'd like to understand everything what you guys said just by hearing it but it's hard and there are sentences that are difficult to understand fast, but l'll give my best to accustome my ear. Thank you guys, God bless you :D!!!

      Hi Oliver,
      This is Joshua here.
I hope you are doing wonderful.
1- Coop up significa estar encerrado (a)
2- Hectic around significa en efecto que las cosas han estado muy agitadas otra forma de traducir sería = He estado muy ocupado en la oficina / Things have been pretty hectic around the office.
3- Yardsticks son bases de medidas.
You could say Our chief's metrics aren't the only yardstick of a jobʼs performance. / Las métricas de nuestro jefe no son las únicas bases de medidas para nuestro rendimiento laboral.
4- Outwit significa superar a alguien inteligentemente.
Do you remember the story of the tortoise outwitting the hare in a race?
Recuerdas la historia de la tortuga ganándole (con la mente / inteligentemente) al conejo en una carrera?
Es difícil lo sabemos, pero te van aclimatar rápido.
      We know you will.
      Take care!

what is your best advice toimmerse myself in english what i have to do

    • @HipronarySchool
      @HipronarySchool  5 років тому

Try sorrounding yourself with native English speakers if that turns out to be impossible for you, make English your daily lifestyle, for example dive into the language thru something you really love doing such as playing video games, listening to music, manga series or any other thing that you might be into.
Make friends whose first language is English
And another important tip detach yourself from your native language when it comes to literal translations.
Bear in mind that the English language has its own nuances and in order to learn them you have to make an effort to pick them up from English content and the best way to do it is online.
Good luck with your learning and please keep our channel as your first priority to learn.

Siento que el flaquito maneja un inglés más fluido..el how do u do...? Los nativos americanos en su inglés diario.. no usan esa expresión...en cambio si el how is it going

      Hey there, it's Emmanuel.
First and foremost, let me start off by addressing the matter at hand, to put it bluntly, I don't quite agree with you on that. The expression "how do you do" is considered a formal greeting used in professional settings as well as other situations, meanwhile the expression " how is it going" is a less formal greeting, if not a colloquialism used in casual situations. I don't know what you based on to form that opinion, nevertheless I don't think I'll concur.
No hard feelings whatsoever, rather thanks for dropping a comment.
