Worked for me! Thanks! Found another DIY Dodge forum where they describe how to remove the cable assembly (it's easy - pop up the inside a little and push toward the outside) so you get direct access to the drain holes. TIP: I used a can of compressed air for computers. It comes with a straw that fits in the hole perfectly. After the blowout water was flowing.
Thank you very much. I took my 3rd brake light off and sealed it up last night thinking it was that but turns out it was the window. Your video helped me!
Boris Fett I need to make an updated video. What I did was drill 3 more holes in that railing. And I used a flat head screw driver and hit it with a hammer after drilling the holes and made a low point for the water to drain jn
DanielPats1228. Interesting. I just tried cleaning the drains. I still need to work on the second one. Looks like the sealent on the ends of the tray has started comming off giving the water a way to leave the tray other than the drains.
Aaron E I ended up buying another power sliding rear window brand new. The guy who installed it said all of them do it and. They won’t warranty leaks. Only permanent fix is solid rear window. So I took out my drill on each side and drilled about 5 holes in the rail. Then I took a flat blade screw driver / flat punch with a hammer over the hole I drilled and made a divot. Basically making the hole a low spot in the rail. It has worked great so far
Yup, worked for me too! The wires pop right up. Here is a video with the details on how to DIY! ua-cam.com/video/Fg1uFJFC9G4/v-deo.html FYI: I had to use a paint brush with a spray bottle of cleaner to get all the dirt out and away from the drain holes. Pain in the ass but it worked. Make sure the back window is open ALL the way when taking the drivers side wire out.
This was the fix I needed.... I did all the others and it stilled leaked but this fix was the one that worked... thanks for posting it....
You’re welcome 👍🏼👍🏼
YOU NEED TO ROLL THE WINDOW TO THE DRIVER SIDE TO REMOVE THE DRIVERS SIDE CABLE!!!
Passenger side needs the window in the closed state.

No problem
Good info. My 08 is leaking in a similar way. I didn't know there was a drain in there and i thought my windows seal was bad. Thanks for filming it.
