These are so beautiful! 💜 also just wanted to express my gratitude - I have learned so much from your YT tutorials- you’re my favourite UA-camr ever! Thanks to you, I was able to make 50 sets of coasters as return gifts for my friends’ wedding, using your technique of applying decoupage napkins with water. So so grateful to have stumbled across your channel. You literally woke my crafter self from a long slumber and for that I’ll forever be grateful. Thank you so much, Iveta! I hope we can see more of you on here. Sending you lots and lots of love and wishes from an ardent fan in India ☺️💜
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ THANK YOU!!! I had seen your post of the original three and decided I would do a variation of this for gifts this year. To my delight, you posted your instructions. I am happy to know that my beginner crafting pea brain got most of the steps correct. I love that you bled the back color onto the front. Will diffentatly incorporate this into my own creations.
I will be making the hearts for sure. I love all of them. Thank you for the tutorial. I will be sanding after painting my wood projects from now on. Love the finger blending. I always overload when I use a brush. Excited to give this a try.
Beautiful Iveta!!Can’t wait to try this project! I'm still hoping for a Christmas tray tutorial! Thank you! And my favorite hearts are the floral ones ❤💕❤
Beautiful! May I ask an advice on how to prevent the stickiness on my coasters after varnishing? I made some and tried to use it for hot drinks and the cup's or mugs bottom is sticking to the coasters. A reply will be greatly appreciated. 😊💛
Hi! It’s a varnish issue, most varnishes are not suitable for coasters as they’re not heat resistant. I usually use Polyvine Heavy duty wood varnish (with shells on packaging) as it’s the only one that I found to be suitable for coasters
@@IvetaZiedina Thank you so much for the advice 😊. I'm a new sub of yours just last week and already learned many valuable techniques. Love your work! God bless. Greetings from Philippines ✨✨.
Hi Iveta, could you explain when you say that Pentart Varnish and Glue Matte is not really matte, do you mean that it has a slight shine to it? Also, if you recommend to use it only as a glue (not as an actual varnish as it says) why is that? I am about to buy some Pentart products myself, so would love to know. How happy are you with their acrylic paints (the black one that you used), and are they matte as the product says? Thank you! :)
@@IvetaZiedina Thank you, that's good to know! I prefer the matte version (over the glossy one), but with just a subtle shine, so I think it actually might be perfect for me :) .
@@IvetaZiedina I've found a glue and varnish in one that gives a perfect texture, just what I was looking for. But I kept thinking about your comment of Pentart glue and varnish not being good enough as a varnish. I've actually messaged the company of the product I use (Kreul) and they told me that their glue and varnish is as good of a varnish as their varnish only product (also is weatherproof). Could you please explain a bit more why you weren't happy with Pentart's glue and varnish? I'd really appreciate it :) I know it depends on what someone is making and its use, but I'm working on things similar to these hearts - decorative ornaments that wouldn't be touched/handled often, and kept inside.

Exactly! It’s not fully matte it has a slight sheen to it and in my opinion and experience it’s not protective enough to use it instead of varnish :)
