Really nice. I was looking for a method to stick thicker paper and this 2 part video was really helpful. When I first heard blue+orange ombre, I thought it was going to be bad. But the final result is like twilight descending on a sunset. Gorgeous!

Thank you for your kind words! I can definitely relate to that feeling, I have a 2,5 year old and if it wasn’t for crafting I think I would have been sent off to a mental institution long time ago! 😂😅 so when you apply thinner coats of varnish it cures quicker which does help with the sticking, and it makes the varnish a lot more durable. Also many but thin coats of varnish make the finish a lot smoother especially if you use gloss varnish it ends up looking a lot nicer and it requires a lot less sanding. Hope this makes sense, I really need to make a video about varnishing to explain it in more detail 😄❤️
Yveti, Loved the video. I think you did a fab job with your little box, I loved the colours you used and the stencilling and gold leaf just added something a bit different. The ombre effect was a special touch and although you said you hadn't done it before you did a great job. If it was me doing it for the first time I would be well chuffed with myself x

What type of paint did you use?
These are all acrylic paints with the exception of the white that I added in to the orange mix, that one is chalk paint
