Beautiful work Christina👍🏻 BTW the L in Salve is SILENT🙂
I'm from the UK to salve definitely doesn't have a silent "l". Glad you pronounced it as you did 😊
SO brushable! I stopped brushing altogether because I’m a serial “over brushed” but Melange has got my back!!!
To avoid the white primer showing through the finish, have your paint supplier tint the primer slightly darker as a base for darker paint colors such as this green. A darker grayish primer undercoat would make a world of difference in this instance. :)
My goodness, the handles were genius. It gave the piece a very masculine look really great work
When you first pulled out that green Melange paint, my first thought was "Oh, no! This is going to look like Korean War army surplus when she's done!" I couldn't have been more wrong. The green versus the red oak is a very nice look. I am quite fond of this piece. The finish that you chose is also a nice touch. Thanks for sharing this restoration with us. All of the time and work was worth it.
I normally hate orange tones in my wood but I love a natural red oak with green! Glad I won you over. 😂
I love this little gem! Turned out so great. And you’re right - those 4” pulls (reminds me of the library dewy drawer pulls) we’re the perfect touch!! This green is so hot. Just love it!
The color and styling of this one is one of my favorites that you have ever done. Those handles really pulled everything together!
The handles you added were the perfect match! I love green with natural wood tones! Great job!
Hope you're doing well! Miss your channel.
@@aot9644 We are doing well!❤️ we got stationed in Korea so it’s been a journey. I hope to get back and do videos again!❤️
@@HazFam We'll be here when you do. Blessings.
That turned out really well! I think you made the right decision about the drawer pulls. The first ones you chose wouldn't have been bad, but the ones you used were better.
Love this green ~ and the whole flip is exactly what I needed for a direction in which I need to go ~ thank you! Nice patient work for this nervous ninny to observe!
I love the color and the drawer pulls were perfect. Leaving the top unstained and using the wax made the top beautiful. I'm always impressed with your work!
This piece turned out beautifully Christina. I love love handles and the top of the wood along with the color.
That colour green is fabulous and would've gone great with either light or dark wood (cool tone preferably). Brilliant choice 😊
I love how this piece came out! Especially removing the dated parts of the furniture. Such a great idea.
Glad to see you wear good respirator while sanding. Great finish. Adore your sander, it worked so well on the interior drawer before wax. Thanks for another video.
I was JUST thinking that maybe the drawers should've been left as bare wood too to go with the top, but the hardware you used was *chef's kiss* perfect to tie in with the top!
Love it! Especially the green.
The drawer pulls were perfect. Very nice.
The pulls really made this piece. It's beautiful
Those handles were perfect! Glad you modernized it. Looks great.
I'm glad you changed the hardware. It's perfect!
I’ve used Melange several times. I like it except I find it very thin and I’ve always had to do three coats. Used Talley Green on a piece and then used it again but added in some black to tone it down. It’s just a bit bright for me. Love to watch your videos! Thanks for sharing your talent and ideas.
Those handles were perfect jewelry for that really pretty green/natural top. Thanks.
Really nice. I like that green! I've been looking for an herb-y green color for some IKEA collapsible tables that I inheirited, they won't take stain because of the finish. I have a trick that I use in drawers. I always used pretty wrapping paper to line, but a damaged veneer inside one 1925 vanity drawer made me come up with this solution! I bought poster board at the dollar store and cut it to fit, then covered it with a contact paper, also from there, with a sweet floral pattern in a greige on white. Removable, and easily wiped with a damp cloth. They've been in thhove drawers SIX years!
OMG a siring to get wood glue in supper tight spaces!!!!! YOU ARE A GENIUSES!! I think I love you!!!!! THANK YOU
I love green but I really love this green. What a beautiful dresser!
Love the color. This turned out amazing! Like the handles you used. They go so well with this piece. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent choice to switch the handles, those are unusual and so perfect for this piece.
There isn’t another paint brand that can compare to this paint, I love it.
Interesting. Hmmm I may have to give a try
That turned out gorgeous! Love the natural wood with those handles.
Gorgeous piece! Love that you changed out your first choice for the perfect hardware, and really, really loving that color of Melange! Thanks for sharing. ❤️
I like how you can change with the paint covering to use new pulls. It teaches us well. And your reviews of new products is welcome .
your awesome Cristina! I love watching all your videos you have a pleasant voice and way of explaining all the do’s and don’t 👍🏻😊
I really liked watching this transformation!
Well done!
Beautiful!! I just started using Melange paint and I love how creamy it is and so smooth to brush on. Their colors are also so beautiful. Love those drawer pulls and the way they matched the top perfectly!
You always put so much love and care into your pieces and that hard work shows because they all turn out beautiful Thank you for sharing all your experience with us!
I love how this turned out! The pulls are perfect!
Just came across the reel for this in my IG explore - so glad there was a full video because I had to keep replaying the reel to see more, lol I hate how fast reels are! Such a beautiful job. I love it.
Gorgeous! Anxious to try melange myself! The pulls took that piece over the top for sure.
A beautiful transformation !! Love the color and the pulls really do look better on this piece than either one of the other two. Haven't tried the Melange paint but may just have to. Thanks Christina !!
Really great design eye, I love your updates and this simple piece is really upscale now. It would fit anywhere and could be used in many ways. Really great job.
Love it when it all comes together!
Omgosh, I love it. What a great flip.

This turned out to be an amazing piece of furniture. I learned a lot from you on this one. You did an amazing job with what you chose to do with the piece of furniture!
Excellent hardware & paint choices.
That paint looks amazing! I agree with you about wood tones with green - always a winner in my book! Thanks for the review of the new paint! I need to give it a try :)

I love all your videos!!
Gorgeous flip and. Beautiful color
This is absolutely gorgeous! I love it!
That piece turned out so beautiful. Love the color and the pulls.
loving this !
You know you can use clear shellac spray instead of BIN primer? It’s easier to apply, and faster. And doesn’t make a white base, which can be better under dark colour paint. And blending, etc. :) Love your work! :)
Yes, I would have used clear Shellac if I had it but I was out. Decided to use the BIN instead of making a trip to buy something new.
@@ChristinaMuscari I’m glad you knew about this. I’ve been flipping furniture for 10 years, and I started watching you , and other flippers to see new techniques, and new products. I got a sprayer now so I can try that. I was great with a brush, but the sprayer is intimidating. But watching you and DIY Wife..I’m going to try it!
Great color! The handles did work well.
I really like this colour. I'm impressed with final look. Well done x
Those pulls worked PERFECTLY with this piece!
Wow! The dresser is beautiful! Good job👍
WOW! GORGEOUS!
Awesome flip. I especially like the removal of the carved piece at the bottom.
I love that. I love how you took that piece off the bottom and sides. But I love the color you chose. I also love oak so the top is beautiful. Love love love it❤️
Love, love, love!❤️
Good call on the pulls! They really bring everything together.
