When something collides with your helmet, you actually want it to bounce off or deflect the blow to one side or the other which would happen in 99% of cases where the hat is not penetrated... I've seen people get hit by thousand pound loads and walk away if it deflects, sure you would avoid falling rebar if you can, but if you can't you definitely don't want that going through your hat lol.

The only questionable thing here is if there was a cut and that the guy went 1 floor down to the next window. This would cut the drop from 20-25ft to about 15~10. (3 levels would be 30, but you have to assume lower drop height then the ceiling, this is also assuming the floors are the same height as the US

There is a foam cushion foam for that and that's enough. The purpose of outer layer is to stop fast objects from puncturing those cushion straight to your brain.
Imagine wearing a helmet that shattered into pieces every time you hit the road in motorcycle accident or get hit by shrapnels in warzone.

the first rod is heavier than the others and is longer
The gap between the falling rod determines the impact.
In the first case the rod is not bouncing back due to this and impact is longer which tears the helmet.
In the second case the gap is more which gives space for the rod to bounce back and hence impact is less.

In the first scene he is holding the helmets for the perfect impact which is enabling the rod to pass through the helmets whereas in the second and third scenes he is not holding the helmet due to which the impact is improper and the helmet is moving away due to the imperfect impact... Clever bull...

The single helmet is stable on it's own.
The fact that it bounced proves it took the energy of the impact, twice, instead of letting it pass through, which the other 3 did in that single go.
I'll put my money on the single helmet anytime.

That's the thing, the helmet is absorbing none of the impact. Might keep your head safe, but you'll be paralyzed from a broken neck before you even have time to check.

Не покупайте шлем обязательно должен деформироватся по причине он должен брать удар на себя а если он не деформируется то удар проходит через шлем и удар пойдёт в голову

Так любой хороший шлем возьмёшь, они все сломаются, нельзя делать не пробиваемые шлема, когда будет опасный момент то у вас сломается шея и много чего, а когда шлем можно пробить то место того чтобы у вас сломалась шея и другие косточки, большая нагрузка перейдёт на шлем

Прикол в том, что 1е шлема должны ломаться вместо черепушки, забирая всю кинетическую энергию на себя. Спасая твою дурную голову. А второй, при сильном ударе на него, превратит твой мозг в пюре-Агуша.
