My husband and I are new at flipping furniture so we had no idea about not mixing oil based poly and water based paint but after yousaid it,it made complete sense. My mother-in-law gave us all her furniture that is at least 50yrs old so we are redoing them, thank you for the info. I loved the color of the old version but yours was really beautiful and done correctly, lol.

Just started following you and I Love the way this piece turned out! I’m about to start a hutch (as soon as my surf prep sander arrives) that I’m also doing like a Pottery Barn piece I found online in a ceruse style finish. I’ve watch Crys’Dawna do a couple of pieces in this finish which is what inspired me to do this solid oak piece in it. It was FREE from my neighbors who moved and didn’t have room for 3 BEAUTIFUL pieces in their new house! Thx for this tutorial!
The piece came out beautiful, color & hardware. I grew up with so much dark furniture I'll probably stick with a beachy whitish wash for my own furniture.🌷🦀🌷
