I need every high school home ec class ever to drill it into the youths of today that "streaming" is not a viable career path for 99.9% of people. It seems to attract almost entirely the set of people who think you can do nothing and strike it rich, when actually, even the best streamers have to bust their asses all the time to make money. It's an awful grind, and you're still beholden to companies like Google, who are predatory and suck up a lot of your revenue. But I seem to notice a pattern with Hispanic families in general where they support each other to a fault at times. Multi generational households aren't out of the norm and that can be a beautiful positive thing if everyone is contributing but it seems like there's always someone who didn't plan or prepare and now the family is a crutch.
The glaringly obvious point in this episode is the lack of financial education which could very well be a symptom of immigrating to this country and not understanding how it works. The lack of education snowballs through generations. I don't feel like that's an unfair assessment and could be applied to white and non white immigrants across the board.

The family will be just her being a mom for him and their kids and constant generational poverty (unfortunately I don’t believe they will stop reproducing after first one, money is not even a factor for them, they don’t get it). Self-preservation will over-ride the fussiness of foods. (If pickiness continues into toddlerhood, have child checked out as (for example) sometimes pickiness in foods is a symptom of sensory-sensitivity, something (for example) that is often a part of ADHD/ASD/etc. (Again… just a thought and as example; not saying that all who are picky eats have these issues.)

Signed up for full time college credit this fall as well, with plans to become a network admin. I’ve downloaded every app you recommend and have a strict budget. I have to make sure I give my child a good life, and make sure I have retirement as well. You impressed upon me the seriousness of the situation through many of the videos I’ve watched, and I couldn’t be more thankful your content exists!

I'm glad that I found your channel. Until I seriously started breaking down my monthly spending, I didn't realize how much I was spending on fast food. It took me a couple of months to break the habit (and some gentle nudging from my partner), but June was the first month that I didn't eat out once. Now that I'm more passed that, I'm finding that I'm craving eating out less and less. Thank you for all the good you're putting out into the world!

@alhen9023 he does what she allows. He has no pride or confidence. Caleb talks about the nervous laugh/smile but these 2 don't have anything going on upstairs. If having a child can't inspire you to take action, I don't know what will. They will end up like the codependent lady from Friday, having to rely on family just to survive.
