@@curryvictim1697 Honestly since starting to watch his videos this past month, I’ve been a lot more financially conscious. I’ve been able to pay off a credit card completely in over 3 years. It’s so liberating. I’m close to paying off the other one I have, and after that most of my money is going towards padding my savings for when I move in with my significant other. I have thought about investing in real estate, but maybe once I’ve graduated from college and make more money.
Seeing people like this make me content I’m doing ok I’m life. I maybe 24 with a long hour warehouse job spending all of my free time drawing game assets on my iPad and trying to put it all together on my laptop might never payoff but atless by 30 I will have a stable job that pays decent and has decent insurance.

On top, just toxic. Everyday at each others throats, and they don’t even seem close to how toxic my husband and I were. But after 3 years, sounds weird but we just figured it out. We did use resources though. But been with him 7 years now. Lets put it this way, when we were broke and at each other’s throats, I use to get bad anxiety in our studio apartment where the front door was facing the bed that was the only furniture we had. We figured it out before we left though, he made things happen and I kept my promises. So sometimes you might despise each other after honey moon phase, but I really do recommend attempting to grow out of it. It did for me, and my sister went through same thing. Even my mother in law told me of how they would get into physical alterations, but they have been married 30 plus years. Same here. It’s about coming into agreement with your partner. My wife and I have been a single income household since we met 5 years ago. When we were dating we immediately combined finances and had the conversation of how we wanted to run our life and what we expected and wanted from one another. We got married and I went to work, going ground up from grunt to management in my job that I have to this day 5 years later and have been the sole breadwinner (like you, by choice) and she stayed at home with our 3 girls. When I come home, I take time to be a father to our babies, and spend time coming together with and loving on my wife. I help with chores, I help her cook and clean, and she helps me with everything and anything I need whatsoever, and without an ask. Because again: we came into agreement about what we wanted. And we don’t have these issues because we knew what to expect and where we were planning to be with our life and came to an agreement together of “this is what we want”. Good on you.

Agreed, I've been a SAHM for 10 years and if my husband were to not appreciate the things I do I wouldn't feel like doing things either. And barking orders isn't going to go over well, which it seems like he does. On the flip side, it is easy as a SAHM to waste the day away and not get anything done and her drug use could make that worse. I have a daily and weekly list of things each week to get done to keep myself on track, she doesn't seem that disciplined, so maybe this is a situation where both have valid arguments. My dad would pay the majority of the share but still expected my mom to contribute money and cook, clean, and all that stuff. I mean it’s possible that it can work. Then later in the day I'll fold and put up clothes while I'm watching TV or getting ready for bed. Cooking/eating/and maintaining the household takes less than an hour of your day. Let's stop trying to pretend it even comes close to the work required to pay the 60% difference in bills. And she can't even do that.... women today have just convinced themselves that basic household duties almost entirely automated are sooooo difficult

On top, just toxic. Everyday at each others throats, and they don’t even seem close to how toxic my husband and I were. But after 3 years, sounds weird but we just figured it out. We did use resources though. But been with him 7 years now. Lets put it this way, when we were broke and at each other’s throats, I use to get bad anxiety in our studio apartment where the front door was facing the bed that was the only furniture we had. We figured it out before we left though, he made things happen and I kept my promises. So sometimes you might despise each other after honey moon phase, but I really do recommend attempting to grow out of it. It did for me, and my sister went through same thing. Even my mother in law told me of how they would get into physical alterations, but they have been married 30 plus years. Also, sometimes a man is an absolute D and doesn’t realize it, my husband.. but he grew from my mentions and wisdom as I always worked to empower him spiritually, emotionally, physically, financially and even hormonally.. for me😂

When I come home, I take time to be a father to our babies, and spend time coming together with and loving on my wife. I help with chores, I help her cook and clean, and she helps me with everything and anything I need whatsoever, and without an ask. Because again: we came into agreement about what we wanted. And we don’t have these issues because we knew what to expect and where we were planning to be with our life and came to an agreement together of “this is what we want”. Good on you.

Agreed, I've been a SAHM for 10 years and if my husband were to not appreciate the things I do I wouldn't feel like doing things either. And barking orders isn't going to go over well, which it seems like he does. I have a daily and weekly list of things each week to get done to keep myself on track, she doesn't seem that disciplined, so maybe this is a situation where both have valid arguments. Normalize breaking up! I’ve never seen such a miserable couple in my life. They don’t have kids or shared assets. It’s the perfect time to call it quits and just get your lives together separately. I know the point of the show is not to give relationship advice, but I think part of their finance problems are a direct result of the toxicity between them.

THIS! My dumbass ex wanted me to cook and clean for him all the time but he sure didn’t bring in the money for the household. He would literally sit on the couch being high af and play his video games while I’m in the kitchen making him food after I came home from a long day of work. On top of that, he kept talking about going back to school to upgrade his education to make more money and after TWO YEARS of being together he still didn’t take initiative to even meet with a academic advisor to take the next step. Not to mention he literally got MAD at me, made it into a full blown argument, because I was vacuuming the house for “too long” while he is sitting on the couch GAMING. I’m sorry but maybe if you helped me do ANYTHING then it wouldn’t take so long. The audacity of these “men” in this world is insane. The way I regret giving this man one second of my time sickens me. He wasn’t a man, he was a boy. Just like this relationship he was younger but only by 4 years so I didn’t think he would be so immature but boy was I wrong. All of this being said.. GIRL, YOU NEED TO LEAVE THIS BOY NOW.

I grew up with my parents splitting everything like 70/30. My dad would pay the majority of the share but still expected my mom to contribute money and cook, clean, and all that stuff.

@@felixf4378that's how most families in the US are. Usually both partners work but the wife does the majority/ all of the housework. It's actually really rare to see a real "traditional" family in which the wife doesn't work at all.

All I could yell out is all he thinks is she needs to work to help HIM not HE needs to work more to provide for her so she could be a housewife. If this is what you got from these pairs. Hopefully you're not trying to be a therapist. The man is a child that hasn't lived the whole f-boy scene. And the lady is lazy, this is the reality that the homeboy needs to leave her and continue with the f-boy lifestyle and the woman has to move back with parents and live the same life with zero accountability. It would be a win-win for all.

Im sorry but for settling down and starting a family 37 is old for a woman. 27 is old a woman’s prime age for settling down and starting a family is 18-25. After 30 all pregnancies are considered geriatric. They should both leave each other she deserves someone to treat her better and he’d be happier with a wife his age or younger.

This is kinda misleading as it’s double of like .4 percent so in all reality it’s only making a birth defect slightly more likely to happen. I broke up with my boyfriend in Feb over Only Fans. I was buying at least 75% of our groceries/buying concert tickets and other things for us/him, yet I found out he was dishing out $80+ a month on OF. It takes me 20min a day to clean. I walk in the door, start my irobot vac, put a load in the washer and dishwasher, pickup anything around the house. Then I cook a segmented meal I set aside. When it's finishing I swap clothes from washer to dryer, and open my dishwasher to start air drying. I eat, unload dishwasher, load my dishes. Unload dryer. Then later in the day I'll fold and put up clothes while I'm watching TV or getting ready for bed. Cooking/eating/and maintaining the household takes less than an hour of your day. Let's stop trying to pretend it even comes close to the work required to pay the 60% difference in bills. And she can't even do that.... women today have just convinced themselves that basic household duties almost entirely automated are sooooo difficult

This AGR reminds me so much of my brother who married a person 11 yrs his senior when he was in his 20s…and she wasn’t even forthcoming about the gap until things were way too deep in the relationship. Like this couple, he has ALWAYS carried the lion’s share (if not ALL) of the fiscal responsibility. He’s paid well and she is essentially an unskilled worker who seems to be allergic to work. It’s not a relationship dynamic I’d recommend. He stresses and she spends and spends. Sometimes, I feel bad for him.
