- My three month review of the Sire V10. Having played and recorded it in a variety of situations, I'm really impressed with how it has performed. Just a few things I'd like to see addressed.
I ordered my V10 right after watching your first video, and I absolutely love it. Thanks for the update!
Great Review!!! That looks lovely with the clear pickguard.
Great review and soulful playing Anthony .
What a great, balanced, straightforward review. Lots of real-world, useful experience/information. Although you were discussing the 4 string, I think your long-term review is the final bit of convincing I needed to pick up a V10 fiver.
You helped me decide on a v7 and I love it. I’m jealous of the black pick guard on the yellow finish. That bass looks fantastic. I’m saving for the ash m7 next. Thanks for your input.
Grande Anthony, ti seguo da quando il mio ex collega Gianni Gallo mi parlò di te molti anni fa. Non ho comprato un basso da 20 anni e ho appena ordinato un sire p7. Love your playing man. Ciao da NY
Love this amazing Bass✨👌. The soft presentation of this amazing Bass, as well👍. And of course the Inspirator of this amazing Bass, Sir Marcus MILLER 🙏🤗
I like the V10 bass it has gorgeous looks and the clean and clear pristine sound that Sire basses that are known for, I like the bass.
Nice review, clear and to the point.
You sound great!
I get my spacing woth my jazz pickuard as well!! I thought I was the only one who needed them on for that reason
Sounds good
Hi. I've got mine since it was realeased and I'm very impressed with it's sound and built quality. I still use the original batteries. I have the 5-string Sire Marcus Miller V10 Natural. I tried the Fender Am. Elite and Fenser Ultra Jazz Bass to compere with my V10 and all I want to say is that, the Fender i still not better from Sire and it's 2x more exprensive. Btw. good review!
Glad to hear that Piotr. You know, Sire doesn't even ask me to do the reviews. I would do an honest review for any company that sends me a bass. No one can beat the quality and value of these Sires.
Have you noticed when changing strings that the height posts on the bridge like to slip out of the very shallow gullies on the base plate? I love my V7, but I do agree, variable string spacing and deeper gullies would make their bridge a far better one. On a positive note, I really dig how so much string touches the saddles, not just one minute point but the whole saddle! I think this adds to the sustain and clarity. Let me know what you think oh master of bass!
Hey Anthony, this might be a stupid question but do you really have to drill holes in the bass to install that pickguard. I got my v10 a couple weeks ago and i'm reluctant to go drilling my bass up. And also for the pickup cover.
👍👍👍
Smoooooth
Very sexy bass no doubt about it, thanks Anthony.
Where do you buy them?
How much does it weight?
I notice you have a clear pickguard, is that to assist with plucking with your first finger? I have a V9 and was considering getting one put on for that reason.
Yes, that's how i get my distance for popping. I need the pickguard on there. I like the look of the clear
@@JBass69 I'm trying to work out of I should alter my muscle memory but given that an advanced player like you is doing it, well...
Have you had a try of the P7's? Would love to hear your take on them, I always come back to your old V7 vids as I'm constantly jealous of the colours on your basses haha.
I haven't tried those. Sire has not sent me one. I would have done a video if they had. They were nice to do those one off colors for me. I always liked having funky colored basses.
Hi! Should I change the factory bridge on the V10 2nd gen? For example to a Babicz? What's your opinion? Thx!
I would leave it unless you need to change the string spacing. Some bridges allow that. That's why I use pre CBS Fender bridges on all my vintage Fenders.
Anyone know how heavy these are ? My current jazz bass is killing my shoulder.
They are medium weight. Like my 60s J Basses, not heavy like the hard ash 70s basses.
Does anyone know the weight?
How does the v7 compare with the v10
They are very different. My favorite is the Vintage V7
Which one is better. Sire v10 or fender American Professional jazz bass V
I personally like the V10 better. But, I think it's a personal thing for each player. The quality of the build you get with the Sire for the money is much better.
address the weight
I wonder is it possible to get a P 10 with a v 10 neck??
Nope
