All I know once I have own several Moon, Sadowslys, Fenders, Fclef basses is that this V10 could easily cost around 3000 Dollars. so still is a low cost hi end bass, Iove it.

The day SIRE will make instruments that costs $2500 to $3000... They seems to forget that the company was there to produce nice and affordable instruments for all, beginners, intermediate players and pro musicians. I think that is strange for the company to make more and more expensive models.

They make a tonne of affordable, and introduced the EVEN MORE affordable V3 and M3's, so why not make for all levels, there are people (like myself) who love my v7, but still after playing that for years, want to upgrade, and I can't quite afford a 2-3k bass, my v7 cost me around 500, and all other basses in the 5-750 range aren't as good, and not many basses around 900-1000 are a tonne better than the v7, so the V9s and v10 will smash most others out the park, so that's why, gives an option of a much higher spec bass, for still a very good price.

Adrian Nuñez You talk as if they still don’t offer a entry budget range. If you don’t like the price of the bass don’t but it.

It sounds like you want a bass of the the V10 quality for $400.00.

No one is playing the B string why not just do the 4 string. I’d get rid of the low B and toss on a C and have a EADGC
