vicky arif setiawan well the roasted neck really makes a difference in its own class for a boutique feature without a boutique price. Can’t go wrong with this V10
I owned an MTD 535 and I have a V10. I absolutely loved my 535, but this Sire...man I think I like it better for versatility. The MTD has the modern sound and the fit and finish is second to none - just amazingly built. But I cant find a single thing about this V10 I dont love. By the way nobody seems to talk about 5 string weight. Its super light and comfortable. Could play all day long
I did the Japanese 4 and I didn’t like it, it sounded thin! The V3 kills it all the way. The Fender MM 5 USA isn’t bad, well you know now the Sire comes those aren’t special anymore! The one that Miller plays different though, different electronic and old wood that’s another class
did you try to play the V10? Well I tried once and I think the roasted neck creates more unique sounds out of it with the premium pick up that only exists in V10. That's why they raise up the price, it's still worth it with the roasted neck. Get a chance to try it first, sometimes audio only couldn't justify the overall sound result.
I have a V10 5 string. Its super light. I will have no issue playing this for days. Not the lightest base Ive ever owned, but definitely on the light side of all the 5's Ive owned.
Great review. The 5 string V10 has two carbon reinforsment root in neck and the 4 string V10 don't have that future. I'm curious how is implicated to the sound difference between 4 and 5 string version of V10. Any one knows?
wande talabi thanks no fret buzz and like usual single coil pick up non humcanceling, it hums when you Solo each pick up. Please subscribe the channel if you like it 😀

Sire basses has such a clean and pristine sound, it sounds like a piano players dream. It has such a nice and clear sound.
Such a nice and clean sounding bass
Nice job and playing congrats!!! Ill have mine soon.

Great sound! How is the playability compares to other boutique such as MTD or Fbass

Bryce Bloom I’ve owned some 535 and I agree with you.
Sounds amazing, as usual! My question is, between this and the V5, which would you prefer?
Thanks John! Well price point V5 VVT is nice! But V10 is killing with the pre!
@@RamaNatan Cool. That's what I was afraid of ;-)))! BTW, have you ever played a Fender MM Signature?

I love it! Thanks for sharing this.
Do you have a book you can recommend for learning the chords on a 5 string bass?
Try to look in Amazon best seller
Great video! What wood is the body made of? Thanks
Thanks! Ash
Hi! Rama, today do you consider v10 the best cost-effective Base?
The new price today you have other better options to be honest used one
I have a V9 I just purchased 1 week ago before Christmas. Besides the roasted neck what's the biggest difference
I had both the Jan 2 v7 and the v10. as sound they are the same. I recommend the v7 because it also costs less.
haha.. so plainly put

Is that bridge pickup in 60's or 70's position
Wow amazing is the action near the low or high side? Im hearing no fret buzz
Medium as I remember
@@RamaNatan amazing ill put mine on medium then! great demo. Does it it come with transparent pickupguard and pickup cover?
Dan J I think so
Could one add the High C on this bass? String it E - high C
Yes
@@RamaNatan Ty!
I appreciate the video. Sounds Great!
Wallace N. Thanks Wallace
Flame Maple knobs would make it so beautiful!!!
Agree 😀
Great review! Is it the same weight as V7 5 string?
Raitis Neitāls somehow it feels lighter due to the roasted light neck
I have a V10 5 string. Its super light. I will have no issue playing this for days. Not the lightest base Ive ever owned, but definitely on the light side of all the 5's Ive owned.
Which sounds best between the V10 vs V9? In your opinion!
Disregard the question! You answered it in the video!
Is this 60’s or 70’s pickup placement ?
Seems 60s
60s

Adam Wyrzykowski never tried the 4 yet
@@RamaNatan I spoke to the lothier he said that carbon reinforsment roots help handle low B string.
@@AdamAlgeroth Adam that's some good news! So V10 5 would be more amazing than 4 then. But to be honest the Low B on all Sire series are killing
Does the tension of the string is still loose?
?
Do the pickups Hum...... Any fret buzz?
Great work by d way

V7 vintage or v10 ?? In terms of sound
V10, to me the roasted gives me more unique sound
