This was one of those rare moments where you can feel something absolutely historic is happening right before your eyes. It's like God is opening the skies and reaching for us with his warmth. The light work in here is incredible and makes the whole thing even better. I envy those who attended this concert.
Is that Chuck Leavell on vocals with Gilmore?! Holy Shit! Chuck has played with everyone from The Allman Bros. to Clapton to The Stones. Wow! This is just an amazing version! Wow! Wow! Wow!
The Greatest guitar player in music history, a 70 year old man in a black Tshirt shredding any other performer on the planet. All while performing in the Oldest amphitheater on the planet. He was the first live performance in that amphitheater since 79AD. EPIC!!!

OMG Yes, I am 68, I can remember when I was in junior high school. Our science teacher brought us to a Pink Floyd concert. He paid for the tickets, the bus, he passed around the smoke, LOL Wow what fun we had, watching that light show, young kids just blowing our minds, and guess what, they are still blowing my mind. I love listening to you guy late at night, I'm from Delaware, USA, retired, so I can listen all night, love you!
David made this solo incredible with Floyd....but this was the night he made it perfection! I've been listening to this since 2016, and my heart still lifts every single time...
Fellas. You need to revisit echoes, live in Gdansk. It will make you cry. Richard Wright's last performance of it. The way Gilmore and Wright communicate through the instruments is so emotional. It's a must watch guys.
100% Agree. Gilmour has since retired the song after Wright's death. The ending sounds like they're saying goodbye to each other. Very personal song the two shared that cannot be played with that bond.
In all my life this is the most awesome song performed out of all the rock groups out there. Everything was in perfect sync including the background vocalists, the light show and the beautiful high notes along with the drumming. He rocked not only that stadium but a like two mile radius around that stadium on that perfect night…. AND WHY IS IT THEY HAD THE COMMENTS TURNED OFF on that video?????? Whoever attended that concert they will remember this for the rest of their life without a doubt!!!
Flippin' heck, that was fantastic. I absolutely loved Comfortably Numb Live at the Pulse concert but this was brilliant too. Yes, no one can beat David Gilmour with his guitar solos and no one should try because it can't be done. They just take you to another place and I love his vocals too. Fabulous and a great reaction, guys, many thanks. Just to say, you are so lucky receiving these amazing gifts, and it was great to see them!
Of _course _they should try to better it. What a strange thing to say. 🤔 Before he played this, nobody had done a performance this good (according to you). So Gilmore shouldn't have bothered to try either, by your 'logic.' Give up at Hendrix; music is 'done'. Or at Mozart. Or sticks on logs. Nobody gets anywhere thinking like this. No creativity, no innovation, no discovery, no variation. The best possible _anything_ has already been done better than anyone who went before the people who did best previously. By definition. Of course Gilmore is exceptionally good, and for the vast majority of people it's going to be an impossible goal to aim for. Shall we all just give up and go home, then? I'm going to just build a wall, then. Probably not a very good one either; walls have also 'been done.'
@@Varksterable What I was trying to say and I think you misunderstood is that David Gilmour is an exceptional guitarist and his guitar solos are wonderful.
