Hi Sarah. I consider myself a newby, so this is perfect. I am so impressed at the way you reduced the bulk at the top. That was worth the whole video, but thanks for it all. I have worked with this yarn, and knit a few hats with it. This appears much easier. I'm going to try it. Thanks for the clarity... hopefully easy to follow. Gonna try. Lynn
I normally hate working with bulky yarns, but my viewers have been pushing me to try it. I'm now working on this hat and it is coming along beautifully! It wont make me love bulky yarn, but at least I get a nice new beanie out of it 😂 Great tutorial. Thank you!
She has a tutorial for worsted weight yarn for this exact pattern style :) I made two with worsted weight and they turned out beautiful ua-cam.com/video/LgNDCgcbDCg/v-deo.html
can I make this with Lion Brand Hue and Me chunky 5 yarn? would I need to add more stitches to start? .looks like just the hat I an do as a beginner! thanks!
I find using a stick marker at the bottom of the row helps ( it is really easy to add an extra stitch at this point) I definitely have added stitches at the end of rows
Thank you for the tutorial. For me slipstitches, bulky yarn and a regular 10 mm hook is a recipe for disaster. I find working with a tunisian hook which has a more pointed ’hear’ a lot easier
Sarah I believe it’s called a Whip Stitch. And very beautiful hat!!❤

Starting mine but it looks short, I see yours does as well. 25 chain, for adult 22 inch head?
How many chain stitches in beginning for a young toddler head?
Hello Sara❤
I will make some for my friends 😀. What a relaxing video.
Thanks from Germany 🇩🇪. Great introductory and detailed.
Thank you, Sarah!
I finally understand it thanks ❤🙏🏻
Hello Sara, thanks alot for this pattern, can we fold it to make a brim? For male adult how much stitches i need to do?
I would also like to make it with a fold up brim. Can you please let us know how many stitches to add ?
If i used a worsted weight yarn, how many stitches would I start with please? Thank you ❤

Great easy beanie! The sewing stitch is called a Whip stitch!
I dont know what i keep doing wrong? Each time after row 9 and going down the rows to slip stich i have an extra stitch?
I find using a stick marker at the bottom of the row helps ( it is really easy to add an extra stitch at this point) I definitely have added stitches at the end of rows
Can I use bulky yarn instead of super bulky?
Can you tell me what kind of hook you have?😊
Awesome 😊thank you ❤
😅whip st you did on top
Türkçe alt yazı lütfen🙏🏻❤️
The stitch at the top of the hat to close it is called a WHIPPED STITCH.
Thank you! I’m always hesitant to name them after being called out in another video 😂
You are so welcome. People just need to be kinder. 😇
