    I watched a similar video from a different person and was SO confused I can’t tell you. I’m a beginner but I couldn’t even follow the super simple plan. Yours actually made sense because you demonstrated and explained several things she considered things you’d already know. Thank you!

    I love this beanie and think it will be my first project. I recently started crocheting again, I made blankets and throws in the 70's, so basically I'm a beginner and you made this look so easy. I found your channel a few days ago and love you and your content so much. Thanks for sharing this cool pattern.

    I had a lot of fun crocheting this beanie with your pattern. I used a smaller hook, so it turned out a bit stiffer, and I also chained 31 in the beginning (so 22 Half double crochets and 9 slip Stiches for me). It only took three or four hours to create a very nice and useful piece! Thank you for that pattern!

      crochet in the second chain from the hook all the way down, slip stitch in two stitches on the base of the hat, turn your work and then single
      crochet in the back loops only of the chain and that’ll creat a ribbed brim

    Love your beanie!! What is the gauge for your beanie? I am a pretty loose crocheter, so sometimes I have to go down a hook size for my hats to fit.

    The gathering at the top creates a hard bump...
    Not sure if it's just the yarn I used, but is there a way to fix that?

    If I’m using thinner yarn, like a bulky?? Do I need to chain more ?? To make it wide enough to fit around someone’s head ?

      No the chain is how long the hat is.

      @@lyricsornah9882 is this why on another beanie it was super super long bc I thought the chain was the circumference around my head

    i love this but is it optional to not do the 7 slip stitches in row 2 and the other rows after it? sorry if you don’t understand i don’t know how to explain it. if i don’t do it would it ruin the pattern?

    • @MissRuthless
      @MissRuthless Рік тому +1

      You don’t necessarily have to do them but if you don’t your hat will be pretty bulky at the top when you close it up since it’s bulky/thick yarn

    Hey! Between row 2 and row 3, after you finished the last slip stitch in the row, did you chain one first before turning your work and resuming with the full row of HDCs? I am following your tutorial and it's been very helpful so far, but I'm confused on whether or not you chain one for every single row before turning your work, or you do that just for every other row. Thank you!

      Yes always chain one at the start of your row, especially before you start your hdc!

      I didnt add them cause i considered that you had to add one only on the other rows the larger one. And my hat looks great didnt make it wierd so if ever you make the mistake like me its gonna be perfectly fine.☺️

    How many would you chain if making a hat for a 3-4 year old, with the same yarn?

    Could you tell me what's the best method to store it? Is a plastic bag fine?
