2nd stroke motor + expansion chamber = Turbo (feelz like boost) Big expansion chamber= laggy but kicks hard when in powerband. Straight pipe= no power just loud... Lol
the third one because it is actually a 2 stroke exhaust with a expancion chamber, and a 2stoke needs a expancion chamber to get more rpm and run better.
@@dreygrach no doubt mate i think its awesome and all my respects go out to you ive been meaning to get around to a build like this but time and money was never really playing along but its cool that i can still watch you among many others do builds and ride around
Tha first one sounds the best but the 3rd one looks great...and also it will put back in the rotation for a combustible power...great job on the build....👍
2 stroke engines always run better with a pipe that has an expansion chamber. The backfiring could be because it's running lean or maybe the exhaust gasket is leaking.
Yes I know and it back fires because I hold the kill switch for a couple seconds to let in extra fuel that lights up after I let go off the kill switch.
can i ask you a question please? Why is your fork the other way round?Thankyou. Oh and i like the expansion chamber alot but custom pipe is good aswell.

I usually just mix just by looking and pouring now but either 32:1 or 40:1, I usually have 40:1, its running a very little bit richer and my secret to the pops is right after a let off throttle I press and hold the kill switch for a second or two and let go and it pops, I got a video on my channel of using this same method but shooting flames.
So everyone asking how are you doing that rev limiter dound and other similar questions its called 4stroking. Its not because hes lightly holding the kill switch or whatever hes saying hes doing. Its his motor starving for air. Instead of going down on jet size, Put you a little air scoop on your carb intake itll force a little more air into the motor. You will notice an increase in performance and just overall smoother running motor! Let me know if you give it a try.
The reason your front wheel wobbles at speed is that your steering fork is backwards...tucking in the rake angle is going to make it handle a bit weird...having the axle in front of the fork legs will stop the steering 'head shake' at speed
Don't you have to tune the engine or carb before putting different exhausts on so it runs right? I took the baffle out of my stock exhaust and it ran right for a while but then died and it would not idle. I think there was not enough backpressure and I also had a bad air leak at the time so maybe it was that too.

I see you have the thread bolts, but Ever strip the threads in the engine ( bolt holes) changing the exhausts? If so, any easy fix? I did, BTw, like a dumbass, lol. Nice tank!!
If I strip the holes in the cylinder for the exhaust I just use a new cylinder, but using studs and nuts is so much better than using bolts, bolts will always get loose from vibrations, and thanks!
Ya know the expansion chamber for the 66 is way too small of course that's where the power is rite so I went with a pro circuit expansion pipe for a ktm85 it cost but it's way better than any China made and another pipe that works well is a expansion chamber for a kx65 I got one on eBay works well all fun shit for sure and thanks for the vid

@@dreygrach While techically yes, for most cases it is enough to just do the ports, have a good spark, clean carb, sprocket change for a little bit of power etc. vs the pure stock.
