I start with the ZEDA engine. The cylinder has the 6 little dots on the side, this has bigger bypass ports. I match all the openings, intake and exhaust plus the gaskets so there is NO gasket in the way. Intake port is raised 2 thousands and the exhaust is lowered by the same. All edges around the ports are smoothed .The piston skirt on the intake side is trimmed so when at TDC there is no skirt blocking the port. The Big Block reed. Stock ZEDA carb with a #65 main jet. I drill a few large holes in the black plastic breather cover. Tuned pipe and Hi Compression Head. Head is torqued to 15lbs.
One of the really important things is to simply warm these engines up completely before going out for a ride and asking the engine to perform.
When first started it will run in 4 stroke then as it warms it will run in 2 stroke as it should.
Bike is a 26in Aluminum Beach Cruiser, running 2.25 Kevlar tires with street tread @ 50lbs. First of the season wheels are removed so the bearings are greased and bearings checked and set.
44 toothed rear sprocket., thinking about changing it to a 36 tooth.
Screaming top end 39-40 mph, backed off to 70% power it will comfortably run @ 30mph. 71.68 mpg.
For some reason I just can't leave nothin' Stock, I'm just a Tinker er. LOL

Same!!! I just got into this stuff…, and absolutely love everything you can do to these. Those billet heads sure do pull a lot of heat out of the engine lol makes staring again after sitting for 30 minutes like a cold start all over again.

Hi, I hope I'm not asking the same questions so.
You took quite a bit out of the flywheels near the B/E. Did you drill them or are they AM ones.
And why did you do it and is the rotating assembly balanced? and to what degree.
Did you do anything to the barrel were the reed valve setup goes. Very trick and well thought out if I can say. Nice.
Did you polish inside the reed block housing itself.
You can polish the top of the slug to if you want. Likewise with the combustion chamber as you didn't show it.
And what's the capacity. Did you stroke and poke it.
    It looks a beast.
    Cheers.

a 2 peddle reed is a stock reed for a minarelli , a performance reed similar to a g2 reed

There are a bunch of different much faster cylinders for these motors. How do you find it okay to put that dinged up crank in there? A g2 reed just increases crank volume and minarelli cylinders are already adapted for flat reed set ups. God Darcy, I knew you were a joke but this is unbelievable.

I see no evidence of Fastest Motorized Bike Engine Ever Built from this video, Never even ran. Also never want your clutch casing open to outside elements, Very dumb, Pretty but Dumb.

I'm sorry you feel that way but obviously you did not understand this video, it is not about how fast the engine is but how fast the engine was built and built in 7 min. however Sir, this engine is a 60+ mph build and in my opinion very good looking minarelli , the SAF Super Clutch is one of the strongest on the market as for the open clutch cover everyone not just me plus other vendor run open cases with absolutely no issues ,
