I start with the ZEDA engine. The cylinder has the 6 little dots on the side, this has bigger bypass ports. I match all the openings, intake and exhaust plus the gaskets so there is NO gasket in the way. Intake port is raised 2 thousands and the exhaust is lowered by the same. All edges around the ports are smoothed .The piston skirt on the intake side is trimmed so when at TDC there is no skirt blocking the port. The Big Block reed. Stock ZEDA carb with a #65 main jet. I drill a few large holes in the black plastic breather cover. Tuned pipe and Hi Compression Head. Head is torqued to 15lbs. One of the really important things is to simply warm these engines up completely before going out for a ride and asking the engine to perform. When first started it will run in 4 stroke then as it warms it will run in 2 stroke as it should. Bike is a 26in Aluminum Beach Cruiser, running 2.25 Kevlar tires with street tread @ 50lbs.
