there are many criticism about your work, all of them has to show how perfect their work is ....however i can se you are very detailed and well done ,I congratulate you!!! regards from Mexico
Love this any chance you can share your measurements and wood size you used would love to try ? I want a unique way of selling my bath products delivered in something reusable like this. So please share
I think your crates loo great! But i'm not too sure the glue will hold very well when you put it on top of stain? Just wondering, maybe just the brad nails are all you need.
I like the crates, but on a safety note I don't run a router upside down like that anymore. Not since April 14 of 06. Hands way too close to the Router.
Those are the cutest crates I've ever seen. But, the polyurethane. I used it on an old cabinet under the sink once. I painted it white first, then the polyurethane. At first it looked good, then gradually it turned yellow (like dried urine). Do you ever have that problem?
+horsebetter7 I️ know exactly what you’re talking about. I️t has happened but I’m not sure if I️t was because it was exposed to a lot of sunlight or not. Or if I️t was because I️t was light-colored. Other than that I️ haven’t had any issues.
Do you sell these? I heard the radio in the back ground and I think we live in the same town lol looking for some just like this for my wedding coming up. LMK.
so besides red, white, blue, and black and white paint to get that "rustic" look, besides vinegar and steel wool what else was in that jar? a little slower and maybe some actual words explanation would have been nice?
patrick mcglone The jar only says vinegar and steel wool. And by the brownish color that it gives. There is nothing else needed for the color. I don't know why you think there is another ingredient?
+patrick mcglone Workshop on Wheels is correct, it was only vinegar and steel wool. I usually date the jar as well to know how long it has been sitting because that will change the color.
why stress the wood like that, Use pallet wood lightly sanded then using wire wool vinegar and water in a jar for a few days painted on the wood, it ages great then apply a dark wood polish if you want to get a really old look or just leave it plain.
nice job but you need to learn about finishing techniques. Much better results to mix up your own stains rather than using expensive shop bought products which do not suit the wood you are using and look too fake.

Thank you Javier! I agree, plenty of “armchair quarterbacks” commenting on videos. Oh well, I’m not doing it for them anyway.
nice and simple , perfect for the beginner arts and crafts people looking to fill their stalls with ideas ,,,
Thank you Hughie
Very impressive. Would love to have a go at this when I can get some spare time. Very creative. Thanks.
+Tony Frewin Thank you very much!
There is just something about these crates that you just gotta love! Nice job, thanks.
+Jack Of All
Thanks, I appreciate it!
Pinterest
great job and i love routers
+SPDworks I do too 👍🏻
Looks great
Thank you!
I’ve been looking for a small branding iron to label my projects. Can you share a link where you got yours? Thank you!
I like your finishing technique
Thank you
Love this any chance you can share your measurements and wood size you used would love to try ? I want a unique way of selling my bath products delivered in something reusable like this. So please share
I with I could, but I don't have any left to measure. Probably about 5" tall by 6" deep by 9" wide
Nice work my friend.
Thank you!
Outstanding. Have one question. How many coats of polyurethane did you put on? Looks like just one. Is that correct?
thanks for the inspiration and the entertainment......
+Roomies Garage Thank YOU!
no problem!
I can't do that, but I love it!
Thank you!
hi, thank you love what you did in this video, is there any spray to make natural wood rustic? thank you
Not that I’m aware of. I wish there was!
‼️Thank you ‼️AWESOME ‼️
Thanks!
What type of wood did you use?
some hints on size of wood would be good to know. what is the thin side wood?
I left that out because it might vary based on the crate you want to make. It’s all 1/4” thick and 1 1/2” wide.
Can you share the dimensions for the final box and your list of cuts?
I’ll see if I can find a box to measure
Did You make it with Woodbex?
Thank you so much for your video. Curious, what wood are you using? Are you ripping down 2x4's, or 1x2's? Or pine board?
You're very welcome +Kim Fella They're 2x4's. Thanks for watching!
Nice!
+dutchwoodworking Thanks!
I think your crates loo great! But i'm not too sure the glue will hold very well when you put it on top of stain? Just wondering, maybe just the brad nails are all you need.
Thanks +Douglas Gregory! The glue actually holds very well
Love them...do you sell those
Thank you. No, I don’t.
Rustic as fuck bro . nice job
Thanks +African Cichlids
Can you please share what kind of wood did you use for this project.
+winay1129 Just standard Douglas fir (I think?) 2x4's.
what size nails did you use?
+Killacorn 23 gauge.
do you ever make any that are plain with the natural color or the wood
+david paul Not yet, but if I have a use for it I will.
I like the crates, but on a safety note I don't run a router upside down like that anymore. Not since April 14 of 06. Hands way too close to the Router.
Thanks +edwh164 I haven't done it since either. I'm in the process of building a router lift for my table saw extension wing.
What kindnof wood
Just standard Douglas fir 2x4 wood.
Just use old pallet wood. Voila! Instant rustic.

+horsebetter7 Thank you btw!
Hello do you sell them?
No I don’t. Sorry.
Do you sell these? I heard the radio in the back ground and I think we live in the same town lol looking for some just like this for my wedding coming up. LMK.
Bonjour poir avoir l'effait brunie ya plus rapide que la pinture exprete
NEXT VIDEO: how to get for free such a rotary hacksaw!!!!! its easy to do this job, but who would give me such a saw?????
You could always build one 😎
nice..:)
+Garfield Guy Thank you!
Thousands of lifetime projects with woodglut plans.
I didn't take that routing part lightly, to be honest
I was answering that smartass workshop on wheels ..if I have a question sir I will ask you..
Make it wooden with the help of the Woodglut instructions.
m.ua-cam.com/video/XGpM-F6MK0Y/v-deo.html
Heres also a simple way to put together a few boxes
I was just asking!
+patrick mcglone If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

+patrick mcglone Workshop on Wheels is correct, it was only vinegar and steel wool. I usually date the jar as well to know how long it has been sitting because that will change the color.
A Modern Maker I thought the dating was for that purpose. I sure would not be an expiration date!
+Workshop on Wheels Haha good point. It's like wine, gets better with age!
A Modern Maker Maybe I should do some taste test to check that statement, what do you reckon?
why stress the wood like that, Use pallet wood lightly sanded then using wire wool vinegar and water in a jar for a few days painted on the wood, it ages great then apply a dark wood polish if you want to get a really old look or just leave it plain.
+52memor I've done that too. Wanted more variety and wanted to try something new.
I made it with Woodprix plans!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are just showing us how you make those boxes but not telling us how to make it 😒
Correct
nice job but you need to learn about finishing techniques. Much better results to mix up your own stains rather than using expensive shop bought products which do not suit the wood you are using and look too fake.
+colin smith It's not fake if that's what your wife wants...
can you tell us how to make your own stains
Stain isn't expensive and making it homemade is a waste of time.
What the f is the point of moving the shit so fast. How is it helping anybody???
Play it in slow motion if you need to. It allows you to see a full build in minutes.
A Modern Maker how do you play it in slow motion?
Wasting time
I did it myself with the woodglut plans. I think this is the best way to find out how to build it.
