Wow, a lot of critics in here about how if this is your best pallet project. Uh, it's pallet wood, it's functional and rustic. Thumbs up all the way. I've made a few of these myself. Love it 👍
Free, quick, and functional. This can be expanded in so many ways. Boxes, trays, a woodworking side table, stained, painted. Thanks for all of the ideas.
Really cool. Been out collecting pallet wood myself (to make a new TV stand), and it's great seeing beautiful pieces being made with it. It's nice to see the basicness like using a hammer and nails. Sometimes I forget not everything needs to be high tech, I don't have a nail gun, but that doesn't have to stop things from getting done.
Fantastic job! You don't have to talk at all, even I know what you're doing.😆 I love rustic furniture. It looks much better than most new chipboard furniture.
Thanks!! I have really enjoyed building furniture out of pallet wood recently, something about it makes it really unique. I think it’s stronger than chipboard as well!
👍100% Great Video thanks for sharing , When I get a minute 🤣 I might get back to doing some pallet projects , I love them, People don't realise , by people I mean me, That it take's a lot of time to make these projects and with pallet work there is a fare bit of work to do to get the good wood out of the pallet and prepared before the project can get fully under way. TOP VIDEO!! 👌Steve 🇬🇧🥶 -1
It’s a few board placements away from a planter box, but the end result is great, photos of it in the correct setting like it’s done in the video (bed and lamps) would make these really quick sales. 👌👍
Amazing work!!! People have the guts to criticize for bs. The haircut, the hammer, the nails. Make more videos and make us happy. Regards from Monroe, NY.
@@_Shopfix I am currently building raised garden beds, from reclaimed wooden crates, for machine parts, they are 2x4 and 2x3 lengths. It’s for a friend , who is wheelchair bound, but loves to garden, it’s not everyone’s taste , but they are delighted. Keep up the good work.
I love that project , wish I owned all those tools but I would have tried to put a drawer in it too . Great job , you know how to work with wood . Pallet wood is raw and unfinished so it's perfect for that kinda work .
Very nice! I particularly like the way the finished project looks like it utilises the more common joinery techniques of tenons etc. I've learnt some excellent "shortcuts" from this video!
Wow !! That project was very thought out & done with skill. Keep up your projects & keep recycling the pallet wood.Something to be very Proud of. You did Fantastic.
I appreciate the support, I really am trying to do my best with what I have! I get better with each project and hope to keep sharing projects with you all!
A simple drawer with each table would be a useful touch as well.! Nice uncomplicated job using recovered pallet nails is classic.! Not everybody has a trillion fancy woodclamps though and would have to revert to a couple of woodscrews in strategic places to act as clamps.
What, no fancy Festool Domino or sliding table saw? It's good to see you make this attractive project with free pallet wood and good craftsmanship. The cordless nail driver is great. ha
Looks great. This build gave me some ideas of things that I can do around my grill on my back deck and still look rustic. I don't like shiny new plastic stuff. Thank you for sharing and you have a new subscriber. God bless.
I just saw this build , actually I haven't seen it built before this out of pallet wood so I'll be trying this soon. Thanks for doing the video. Turned out really nice 👍
Enjoyed video of your pallet wood project so much! I do oddball stuff like this to! And enjoy it a whole lot!! Keep on doing videos. I like new ideas like this!!
I wasn't thinking plans, but preparation of the planks and especially the order of operation. Do you have a location where videos are stored together that I can access?? Thanks in advance. BTW.....I really enjoy your work!!
What is that ancient fastening technique? I think that it is called "hammer and nailing" but I am not sure 🤔🤔🤔. 😅😅😅 Nice project. You got lucky finding some nice thick pallet boards. Great build.
I appreciate it, I thought it was a great way to repurpose the wood. By joining the wood together at a 90 degree angle with super glue helped easily align all the legs!
Very good en nice! 👍 Im also very interesting to make with pallet wood. I already made small table, flowers pot something like that. They are not perfect but im really enjoyed.
Never use those plastic push sticks. Use it as a template and make one out of ply or timber. If you are unlucky enough to catch the plastic one on a blade it will shatter towards you. Nice project mate. 👍🏻
But... why it's a failure? In my case I will sand them a little, but that's a matter of preference, they're a rustic furniture.. For me they are great, you work with a lot of patience.. good job.!
A bit of a paradox here, great use of wood that is more or less free but put together by millions (well lots) of dollar machinery, but a good video still
Hey, I didn’t have to sand at all for the project. I used a furniture oil by walrus oil that didn’t require any sanding and I didn’t sand the pallet wood either so it could have a rustic look.
When I thought you were measuring and cutting and nailing all this wood just to remake some smaller pallets...... hahaha you definitely had me in the first half 😂😂
24 wide, 18 depth. Everything is 3.5 in wide except for the boards that lay across horizontally. Most of the boards are between .5-.75 inches in thickness. It’s all pallet wood, nails and holes left in, no sanding at all just some finish oil. Oh and it’s 26.5 inches tall.
This wood may be pallet wood, but it's not reclaimed from pallets as there's very few old nail holes in this wood from being taking pallets apart. Just saying
Well I was literally there with the guy who helped dismantle the pallets with a pallet hog bandsaw machine. Lots of nail holes, some of them I was able to cut off the ends.
No talking. Silence is GOLDEN .ACTION only SPEAKS . Thanks
It's not silent! There's music, tool and machinery noises! People who are happy to talk are better teachers.
You would rather complain than hit the mute button. Sad.
Wow, a lot of critics in here about how if this is your best pallet project. Uh, it's pallet wood, it's functional and rustic. Thumbs up all the way. I've made a few of these myself. Love it 👍
And it's ''Reclaimed Wood'', which makes it more valuable than wood bought fresh from a store!
It’s a table , nothing is new . What’s new is how ,
the table , and the material it was made from . This is undoubtedly, unparalleled. Thanks
Super calming video
I appreciate that feedback! I think I really focus on making my videos easy to watch and calm like you mentioned.

You’ve perfectly shown how to, with minimum tooling and basic timber build perfectly functional furniture. ❤
Minimum tooling... he have almost everything and mostly of the tools are dewalt.. that's not minimum tooling

@@_Shopfix It is definitely stronger. I've made three pallet wood trays myself and it just create a real farmhouse feeling to my kitchen. 😄

Excellent job this is what pallet wood is all about
Agreed! I’m a big fan of pallet wood furniture as you can tell!
I agree, this is also my best pallet wood project. Thanks for a fairly easy build with good directions.

Fabulous....a really lovely item made from a pallet.
thanks for sharing. very nice useful project
Wow....cool! Finally a pallet wood project where they dont just glue them all together to make one big piece of wood first! This is more achievable!
thats the straightest pallet wood ive ever seen nice 1
I did have some fairly straight pieces! I also ripped a lot of the edges on the table saw to make them straight as well.
@@_Shopfix yep ive saw the entire video
but never come across a pallet that straight lol

I agree it definitely is more work the. It seems especially when you’re trying to make pallet wood look somewhat good on a piece of furniture.

Very nice for that rustic touch! What did you seal them with?
It’s called walrus oil, they make great finishes!
@_Shopfix Is that similar to linseed, decking oil?
I like em dude. Good work! What did you finish them with?
Superb job ! George U.K.

What technical skills

Greetings,
Hey 👋 thanks so much!
One new sub, keep it up man
All the while I was thinking how you could take apart three pallets to build one new one in the very end, just to fukc with the viewers 😂
A bit of a paradox here, great use of wood that is more or less free but put together by millions (well lots) of dollar machinery, but a good video still
Did you sand the first coat of urethane so the top would be smooth?
Hey, I didn’t have to sand at all for the project. I used a furniture oil by walrus oil that didn’t require any sanding and I didn’t sand the pallet wood either so it could have a rustic look.
👍👍👍
Love this but why didn't you sand it?
This video gives me hope for me to have my own channel. 430K subscribers...ok.
How can I get all of your projects with pallet wood? I have already subscribed to your channel.
I didn’t draw up any plans for any of these projects, they are just put together with an idea in my head.
Nail guns? We don't need no stinking nail guns!
When I thought you were measuring and cutting and nailing all this wood just to remake some smaller pallets...... hahaha you definitely had me in the first half 😂😂
Dimensions?
Dude, you gotta speed it up a little! That’s a 15 minute project
Unfortunately it was not a 15 minute project, I think just putting the finish on the project took more than 15 minutes...
Dimensions please anyone? looks like 24 x 20. The base looks like 2x6? The rest 1x4?
24 wide, 18 depth. Everything is 3.5 in wide except for the boards that lay across horizontally. Most of the boards are between .5-.75 inches in thickness. It’s all pallet wood, nails and holes left in, no sanding at all just some finish oil. Oh and it’s 26.5 inches tall.

another guy start with the top you always start at the bottom underneath first then the top is last to sory or brush
This wood may be pallet wood, but it's not reclaimed from pallets as there's very few old nail holes in this wood from being taking pallets apart.
