Great idea. I have some narrow heavy duty metal shelving that I use in my workshop, came from the shop downstairs from where I live when they had it refitted a little while ago. I'll use this idea for maybe the lower two shelves because things keep falling off.
Hi Good job, well done. You just gave me a good idea, I will use your corner joints method from pallet wood. I make birdhouses and feeders from scrap wood. This isn’t my profession just my hobby. Thanks
Thanks for the upload. Great simple explanation . I think I'll be able to make this, won't be as pretty but it will be functional. Great work brother. 👍
Not long been into woodworking and I use old pallets. The price of good timber in the UK is just bloody mad, if you know how to get good timber at a reasonable price please let us no. 👍😃

Really awesome boxes , I love the rustic look of them . What did you decide to put in them
Thanks Chris 👍 I still haven't decided yet 😆
Phil I have a George Foreman Electric Grill the heated plates are starting to flake Can I refer them if so what can I use to respray the plates
To be honest I'm really not sure when it comes to food appliances. I wouldn't like to guess as it could be unsafe.
I love these boxes I may to the same for my lathe stand. I don't think the corner bits was needed.. you didn't even screw the sides to them lol
Thanks! If it was only one layer high, I probably wouldn't have used the corner pieces but it kept the 2 layers together.
@@PhillWyattProjects Good strong boxes Phill, the corner pieces make them a lot stronger.
@@freddyferret2313 thanks Freddy 👍
@@PhillWyattProjects Good channel Phill, picked up a lot of good tips cheers.
@@freddyferret2313 thanks Freddy 👍👍👍
I was told not to use the blue pallets as they are coated with something harmful. Is this true?
I don't know. I don't use the blue ones anyway because they are very difficult to dismantle.
What are you using to treat the wood ?
I used boiled linseed oil
Pallet wood is treated already mostly
Where ia the list I want to try this
Sorry I don't make cut lists for my projects at the moment. I guess I should as people do ask.
Not long been into woodworking and I use old pallets. The price of good timber in the UK is just bloody mad, if you know how to get good timber at a reasonable price please let us no. 👍😃
I only tend to use wood I find like pallets I don't buy wood very often and not at all since it got so expensive.
@@PhillWyattProjects I did get myself a thicknesser I works great on pallet wood bud.
@@ziggybombers1563 I would like to get a thicknesser I probably will later this year.
👍
Cheers 👍🏻
Health and safety will love u! 🤣🤣
What do you mean?
AAAAAAGH, Using a ball pin hammer to drive nails🤔😒😒😂😂
That hammer is great for small nails. I've tried all sorts that one is my fav.
@@PhillWyattProjects I thought the same thing, ball pein is a metalwork hammer but if it works for you just keep using it.
