Haven't appreciated Korn so much before, that has come in the last couple of years. Now I can really see their greatness, at least their earlier works!
@@hallamalla98 well I like to headbang when I'm singing/playing guitar/just jamming and KoЯn always makes that happen. I started out with Three Days Grace, Avenged Sevenfold, and Breaking Benjamin for a while and then I discovered Five Finger Death Punch, Slipknot, and KoЯn and my life was changed forever lmao
@@nauri8138 Nice, well. Just wait till you discover Entombed, Grave, Crowbar and Pantera. You will completly destroy your neck!
@@hallamalla98 I occasionally visit Pantera actually, Breaking Benjamin cover Walk live and Avenged Sevenfold made a full on cover of it so if I didn't know about them before then I would've afterwards lol
I've been to a shitload of concerts in my lifetime, the opener to this is the best I've ever scene. Perfection.
I have listened to a LOOOOT of music, man. But the anger and the energy that I feel with this video is unexplainable. It just turns on my whole existence every single time hahahahah
The next 10 seconds after that epic “are u ready” might be the best in live performing ever
2:11 twisting his ankle on that rail or whatever that is... still continuing like nothing ever happened. True legend.
stop i saw it and im crying and laughing i’m so sorry jon 😭
He said "another kind of pain" afterward lol.
we need another woodstock with all the bands that played in 1999
Unfortunately most of them don't have enough energy now.
Except Limp Bizkit.

This crowd was so liquid.. Korn is love, Korn is life.
I’m so happy this performance exists on video
I can watch this video thousands millions times and I will never get tired of it. When I need energy this is my engine. Long life Korn .. Long life Woodstock ‘99
How can someone not like this? This is mayhem, this is chaos, and all under control. Innovative.
3 people died at this festival.
Literal fires broke out after this performance lol
Heaps of bad shit happened.
thousands of people had to go to the hospital because of heat strokes and\or hyperthermia
Literally none of this was under control wtf are you talking about, woodstock 99 is infamously known as a disaster
Watching this during lockdown and it takes me back! One of the best music festivals of all time!
"lockdown" is the problem with modern society... Authoritarian garbage... Let me life life and take risks! I want to die doing the things I love and living life to the fullest. Id gladly take on this virus and die HAPPILY if I can just live free until the end...
Nothing will ever top this experience! No words to describe what it was like to be in that crowd and witness this legendary performance!
Watching this in October, 2018. Looking at how the crowd is enjoying the show and jumping, rather than holding cellphones....
Dude.... this rules!!!
The good old days
Yep, the camera flashes tell the story. How sweet it was back in those days.
Original comment. Never seen a comment like this before. Well done.
Boomer alert

well duh, smartphones weren't even a thing in 1999
The intro to blind at Woodstock 99 was absolutely fckn bonkers!!! Insane! Such a good song to open up with. ARE YOU READYYYYYYYYYYY?!

I’ve been watching this everyday since I watched the Netflix Woodstock 99 episode
This performance never gets old! long live KoRn
One of the best performance of Woodstock 99...
It might’ve been ****THE GREATEST INTRO AT THE BIGGEST CONCERT TO THE BIGGEST 99 BAND AT THEIR PRIME IN KNOWN MUSIC HISTORY****
Who listening this song in 2020
Yup
We never left
I love watching korn's lives
Saw this live at Allstate Arena in March 2000
Had no clue who the hell they were. We went with our 16 yo son. So glad. Been a diehard fan since. Mind you in 2000 we took him and a couple of his friends to Ozzfest, on my B-day, we had 6 Backstage passes! That was sweet!
So who else here will be 65 years old next week???? LOL
Sadly, much of the great shit from the past will not be taken into the future. sux
I came looking for this comment
That's how you open an epic concert
Imagine standing on that stage and seeing 100,000 people absolutely lose their minds to your music. Would be one of the most satisfying feelings as a musician.
Man I’m 20, I wish I could go back in time to experience this fucking show, last year I saw Slipknot and it was one of the best moments of my life, being a part of this crowd would be a dream come true
This is one of the best performances by anyone, ever. Incredible tension, emotion...
AMZING
THIS IS WONDERFUL STAGE ARTIST. THE MUSICAL PREFORMANCE IS OUTSTANDING.
When you're 12 years old, found this on TV at 10 am before sleep, your childhood is beautiful..
Props
Listening to this on sunday night 2024. It still sounds great two decades later.
I showed this to my 76 year old mom, and the second ….”are youuuuu readdddddy?!” Was shouted and the crowded started moving she responded with OH MY GAAWWWWD. 😂
I wish back than I was the age I am now. So I could've gone to one of these! 90's FTW best concerts! PLUS.. I've been in love with korn since I was 6 yrs old. =D
24 years later and it still kicks ass.
This show was once in a life time so glad I got to.see them live !!!!
Reminds me of Joey Jordison.😢😥 I'm still heartbroken even almost a couple of weeks after his sudden death. I will miss and love him forever. I ♥️ both Slipknot and Korn. They're like my stress-relievers and wound-healers. - A huge fan from the 🇵🇭, Philippines.🤘🤘🤘

1:25 INSTANT GOOSEBUMPS!🤘
As my I've grown my taste in music has changed, so I think Korn is not my favorite band. But in a sense they are my favorite band because they're my first metal band that I fell in love with. Its Korn and Jon up until about 10 years ago that I grew up with and fully understood and helped me through my deepest moments of depression. I will always listen and will always listen to these old school sounds. Thankyou Jon for being your true you with your emotion and being real and giving to the world. Such love and passion! Peace!
Twist was always such a good song. Their whole set was amazing.
I was there, about 30’ from the stage with my friends at 18yrs old. What a memory. I’ll never forget that moment when J Davis screamed “ARE YOU READY”
Nothing is stronger than love then a Korn crowd
It's already 2020 but watching this still gives me goosebumps!!
Same dude!
2023!
Sends chills down my spine on how Korn just gets the crowd moving

Yes, we are in 2022...that was in 1999...I'm so fucking proud to watch that show on TV! I'm so fucking proud of you! That wave man!!! So fucking awesome! I'm proud of you god damn it!
I was 2 years old when this was recorded. Saw Korn in 2017 at Leeds Festival. By far one of the best bands I have ever seen.
I remember when I was growing up in Pacifica California back in 97, my cousin brought home the KORN self titled album..... It forever changed me...
Just here for the millionth time watching one of the most memorable performances ever! I was 17 and this music just takes me back!!!!
Man I wish I was alive for this, hopefully I see them but damn nothing tops this I mean the crowd at the intro to blind was just insane!
Uno dei migliori gruppi live di tutti i tempi... dal vivo sembrano quasi più perfetti che in studio!!!! E che dire di davies?? Un mostro!!! MAI VISTO!!!!
I must watch this 5 times a day
I saw the Woodstock 99 documentary this performance was beautiful I wish more concert were like this now.
Such an awesome intro, are you ready?!, crowd goes mental. I love it, the hype, the choice of song, the energy of the music. Life before smart phones was just better.
I don't know about life, but concerts were certainly a lot better. Audiences were into what was happening on stage not on being a shitty documentarian.
The good ol days! Not a smartphone in sight! 2024 and I'm still listening to the same music of my youth. 🩶
