"How did you survive your adolescence?"
"Well... have you ever heard about Korn before?"
fckn right
Dairev bingo!
Korn helped me through high school! Yes!!
You goddamn right son
Amen to that
94-daddy
96-kill you
98-99-my gift to you
Jon saved his most heart felt songs for the end for a reason , and this was one his most under rated perfromances
99 dirty
@@johannrobles2342 good call it was well underated!!!
@@UA-camKiller Dirty has gotten me through a lot of hard times.
This is a hugely underrated song! This was the song I played on repeat off the album.
How dare you not mention Dirty 😤
Man one of the most powerful performances I have seen. KoRn never fail to absolutely slay at their shows, Jon just gets so into it. You can tell he's up there feeling his lyrics.
Also, he's in a kilt and has black nails, I love it so much.
I'm only 12 and they have already changed my life so much😊
I remember recording this on VHS before middle school. Korn was what started it all for me.
I had to talk my mom into ordering it lol had to tell her the chilli peppers were playing lol that was day 3 Korn headlined day 2 lol
Goodness me… that is one of the most insane, raw, expressive, brilliant performances I have ever seen. So dark, so heavy… Korn are legendary. Absolutely amazing. Blown away.
Our kids children will be rocking out to KoRn. Their music is f*cking timeless and they pretty much started the nu metal movement which inspired 100s and 100s of bands...
The part when Jonathan screams "I...!! HATE..!! YOU!! CAN'T YOU FEEL THE PAIN!!"
Best part of the song in my opinion
Real
his face when he starts singing! looks so damn good!!
He is SO fucking sexy!
It's amazing to think that this concert marked the end of an entire millennium... When this happened, I was 5 years old, and I would have loved to witness this live... It's a shame that music is dying nowadays.
Well u were alive I was not until 2008
I was 2 months old when this concert took place. Also, apparently, metal is now the fastest growing music genre (not the biggest, but fastest growing)
i was 6 years old at woodstock 99 listening to some backstreetboys and westlife songs,,, never heard about korn that time or woodstock festival.. but 10 years later (2009) i witnessed korn (blind live woodstock 99) but i hated in the first because i was a diehard linkin park fan since early 2000s until i fall inlove with korn in 2010 until now in '21.
from PH🇵🇭
Music's not dying. Its just dumbified.
Music is dying? It just evolves you wouldn't have Korn without hip-hop and metal breaking away from funk/soul and classic rock respectively. Could you imagine showing Korn or RATM to people in the 30s and 40s
Fun fact: during this time period of live performances he was dealing with drug withdrawal. Major respect for him fighting through it and giving it his all. But you can tell he was not doing so great mentally
Especially towards the end of the song when he's on the floor.
He was shaking too
Seasons in the abyss for a minute. Just fell in love with you guys all over again!
For real!! I was like I know this ❤
David's snare sounds amazing.
It was a tama maple shell snare doctored up with a fat trigger. Hard to replicate.
Especially how it sounded in Take a Look In The Mirror album
David was a beast!!!
Amazing drummer.
Fucking yea man. Ray Luzier is an amazing drummer but I feel his drum tone lacks that crisp high maple tone Silveria used.
I think this is the best sounding snare I have ever heard right here
They should play this again. Last time it was played was in 2003. It's been 15 years, come on! :)
Yeah imagine they would play in 2019 tour
They actually played it for the 20th anniversary tour for follow the leader.
well i see why they stopped
It's on!
2022 - if they brought this back into their set list like they did ADIDAS… I would abso-fucking-lutely LOSE my shit! 🤘🏽
I’m 32, been a korn fan for 16 years. It doesn’t get any better than this. Let us just take a moment to appreciate these guys while they’re still at it. Korn isn’t just music, it’s a way of life!
Always felt like watching and hearing Jon sing it's something really private that no one should see nor hear.
"My Gift To you" is the BEST song by Korn!!
Yes! I played this song the most off this album. Like on repeat. Jonathan Davis has this dark, yet sensual presence when he performs this song. Makes me love him more ❤
Mine as well
I am literally alive because of these guys ♥️
Not even joking, but same man. I was so lost and unsure of my identity. Korn helped me find that identity and channel the hate and pain I felt as a teenager.
I'm still going thru it... and KoRn always seemed to grow with me and just express my own pain.
@@not_yo_cheezI hope you found your place where you are happy ❤
Nah, you're alive because of...you! Congratulations!
Im soo fukkin glad to be on side of the stage experiencin this as a 5 yr old kid wit my uncle thank you and RIP uncle bill for letting me be part of this ragefull history wit you❤
My god the passion from the whole band at the end
Fucking crazy
Missed those days… no mobile phones … just pure music
this performance is absolutely breathtaking, holy shit!
Anbody else was waiting for the Seasons of the Abyss song to kick in😅? I thought jeff and kerry made a surprise entrance for a sec.
This is raw fucking emotion on stage if I've ever seen it. Fuck man Jonathan is such a legend. The wailing at the end always gives me chills
An absolute legend! I dread the day he is no longer with us.
@@not_yo_cheez same :(
He didn’t die tho? it was a death hoax. @@not_yo_cheez
From the moment Jonathan Davis walked out onto the stage he knew this set was gonna be different. Absolutely incredible from beginning to end. Fuckin legend
JD cited this as one of the best moments of the bands history
Fucking awesome perfomance. Jonathan put full emotions into this, actually makes it sad. But what makes for a great band. Saw Korn myself back in Nov 1995 at the Stone Pony, Asbury Park NJ. Maybe a 200 person venue :)
Man David is so powerful on those drums...
I miss him! Ray is cool..but I loved David.
The audio on this is straight up divine
Definitely one of Korn’s greatest songs. And that low at 2:11 sends shivers down my spine every time
His breakdown at the end though, oh my lord
This song got me through depression after me and my girlfriend broke up. I would play this song so loud and sing along
Same but it was a dude
i do the same thing, BRAZIL MENTIONATED 🇧🇷
Korn helped me so much deal with the break up for me bro. She was the one that introduced me to this band, i miss how, old version of her was. Shes now a total different person.
Bruh, Jonathan Davis put out real emotion on stage, so don't tell me this is da devil's music...I've seen people at my church do this same kinda thing, just with "gospel" music
WOODSTOCK 2020 LETS DO IT !!!
Joe Keegan 2019. I hope it happens. I don’t care what artists play. Just have one.
Yess
Coronavirus: come again?
they tried to setup Woodstock 2019 but it failed but after seeing the acts it was suppose to have its probably good that it did since it was basically a run of the mill 2019 music festival with all pop rap and r/b acts so it would be nothing like this.
Well this comment didn’t age well haha
0:07 - 0:42 Slayer Seasons in the abyss. Sounds awesome
Its true! jajajaja
Rick! :D
Black Sabbath
Black Sabbath from Black Sabbath
Slayer🤘Love it
Just the power of this type of music helps many of us get through so much shit of this world we thank you Johnathan Davis must we never forget
Best korn performance ever of any song. Period
I love this song and I wish i couldve gone to that concert
That ending is epic, the whole song and performance is though.
Favourite Korn Song.
This is still my go to when I’m feeling some sort of way.
One the most if not the most badass performances of all time
one of the sexiest song & life sadness song by korn band. this song is always my favourite I liked Jonathan Davis screaming.
It will always be my favorite because it is so sexy in a very dark way.
4:43 I just sit there and wonder what the audience was thinking
We need more music like this now!
this song is awesome.......................one of the best
So powerful
best korn song!
true
Lucas Ribeiro Patricio , br eh foda
Got chills watching this, epic performance!!
This here, is why I fucking love JD. Loved him then, love him now, love him always.
I love his voice
4:17 Epic sea of lighters! :D
Gunshots awww! :D Sea of lighters, flashes, cameras, and gunshots then! :D
At least they're not a sea of cell phones.
VJbluewish Tell me if I'm wrong but lighters were so much cooler than the lights from cell phones that we have now....
Best Korn Song EVER !!!!!!
Yes!!
I love you Jonathan!!! Let it all out bro
Not even the most brutal band can top this performance🤪🤪
im pretty sure this was day 1 of woostock. they were the main headliner of the night . we ordered it on ppv lol had to talk my mom into ordering it lol
Korn de las bandas mas grandes de la historia
CANT YOU FEEL THW PAINNN
FUUUUUCKKKKK I WONNA CRY LAST PART
The guy saying "Lets hear it for KoRn!" at the end sounds like Corey Taylor, lol...
Corey Taylor sounds like him. He did it first
Jeremy Maish holy shit that dude at the end did sound like Corey Taylor
Yep
korn playing slayer in the intro ?
LOL. korn used slayer for intro
Yeah that is definitely the intro to seasons in the abyss. . . .. I was there.....we bugged the fuck out. If you listen to the actual song (my gift to you) the intro really does sound like it, so i think it was like a nod to Slayer, letting them know that they kind of ripped it off, lol.
TheSpy InTheCab or maybe it was a nod to metallica. they took the intro away from Am I evil? but they played it with bagpipes
The Shaker no, forget it. that intro is from black sabbath.
I prefer korn's version of the intro.
To catch davids drumsticks must've been a lifetime goal
Pure emotions guys
brutal performance, this song is amazing
I 💗 KoRn forever🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
This track never gets old … and such a treat to hear it played live.
The stage presence that this man has is absurdly imponent
I was like 13 1/2 years old when this happened
That guy at the end "let's hear it for KoRn one more time" really sounded like Corey Taylor
SebKabuto that sounded nothing like corey, especially at the time
4:43 lol Jonatan starts throwing a temper tantrum
Edit: that was me when I was 13 years old commenting that. Now I’m almost 17
KornAnimationsAUTTP bro during the 90s and probably still to this day he goes fuckin nuts on stage 😂
@@vikto_9313 sadly he has calmed down on stage
Songs like this bring out a lot of energy in him, but that comes out as raw emotion. The sad thing is that this is all genuine.
@@Brando_Broshi I’m eighteen years old and a year or two ago I learned this
i do miss the "can't you feel the pain" :(
This song is more powerful and darker than any of even black metal
@Jenny D check my videos korn tribute u welcome
Definitely this song gives black metal vibe 🎶
@@mrkrandomstuffs6219 More than that
@@korntribute.laughterofwhor2100 definitely so haunting and raw bruh
This is why I love korn so much ♥. Long live Mr Jonathan Davis
I just noticed the topless girl at 2:07
This is Woodstock goddamn it
@@BerbinKing woah excuse me
David was a beast!!! Amazing drummer🤘
BRAVOOOOOOOOO❤️❤️❤️
1:16 20 minutes into korn and chill and she gives you this look
Love this rare live version thanks!!!
People say they did not know what was happening when they first heard them at Woodstock 99
Who said that?? Lol korn was the most popular band on the planet in 99
@@Brodzzzzz so true tho lol! And 1998, and 2000 they ruled the world and MTV
Watching this exactly twenty years later lol on a complete coincidence
it’s not devil music his songs speaks about his life and childhood and their songs speaks what their fans have been through and feel.he has a right to get emotional it shows it’s hard for him to song this song and daddy
he speaks through experience
Who says it's devil music??? Hahahahahaha noway!!
@@kristenrubymoon some idiot
this song was a love song to Renee lol definitely wasn’t about his life but daddy yea that shit is so powerful you can feel his pain thru his voice
@@sam-lo3oo i know that already
i miss the these fuckin days def at their best here
When you have 200,000 electric chairs out there feeding you energy like that, you gonna put on a hellva show like that… good stuff
Greatest performance I’ve ever seen
I was 7 days old that day xD
Wish i was born earlier
Random Things fuckin same dude for all the music that I listen on a daily and all the music I hold close to me I wish I was my age now but in the early 90s
@@vikto_9313 wish i was 20 in '99 because because both the music we listen to is from around those years
i was 6 in July '99
Slayer baby respect🎉
Such a beautiful song!
Da um salve quem é Brasil nessa porra!!?? Korn Brazil
Salve man
Man if i could i would be there as a 11 year old in that Korn concert haha and I know I'm not alone in this
I think I was too young myself cuz I think it was 21+ and... in NY!!! I would have gotten in somehow, but it was getting there...
4:42 epic moment JD!
omartv KoRn Lover yep. That's me when a girl stops being my friend
Beautiful awesome song Korn is the best

There you are, my precious
Not long ago
Hiding behind the shadows
Of your broken soul
Why is it always
You want something you can never have?
Why did you try to tell me?
How could you be this way?
Your throat I take grasp (can't you feel the pain?)
Then your eyes roll back (can't you feel the pain?)
Love racing (can't you feel the pain?)
Through my veins (can't you feel the pain?)
Your heart stops beating (can't you feel the pain?)
Black orgasms (yes, you feel the pain)
I kiss your (can't you feel the pain?)
Lifeless skin
There you are, my precious
With your broken soul
Rubbing my crotch elated
Taking control
Why is it always
You fuck up something you have always had?
Why'd you try to tell me?
How could you be so cold?
Your throat I take grasp (can't you feel the pain?)
Then your eyes roll back (can't you feel the pain?)
Love racing (can't you feel the pain?)
Through my veins (yes, I need the pain)
Your heart stops beating (can't you feel the pain?)
Black orgasms (yes, you feel the pain)
I kiss your (can't you feel the pain?)

Here I am, just a man
Feeling pain, gives me life
Relieving us is my plan
I'd do anything just to see through your eyes
Just to see through your eyes
Just to see through your eyes
Just to see through your eyes
Just to see through your eyes

The Real Eric Mitchell he busted his head and gave himself a headache and started crying
That was rad
Not a mobile phone on site

but equal amounts of cameras
Yeah just few rapes. No big deal.
Scorpio tasteless
Yup. That's how concerts should be.
I love how they were playing the intro to seasons in the abyss by slayer in the beginning
the best!
Mar de isqueiros! Viva os 90's!
0:10 imagine that shit with smartphones around. man i miss that time in that regard. live performances have changed man. the positive is, that you get to watch all kinds of performances, by the click of a button.
Flip Zilip You do realize that people got raped in that crowd, right?
What does that have to do with smartphones?
he looks so hot here my god..
