Disturbed will always be one of my favorite live bands, because David always sounds the same live as he does in his studio produced albums. He truly has one of the greatest voices of all time.

I will never forget the 1 in a billion chance meeting I had with David a few years back I mean never! I was all grumpy from having to go to Ala Moana shopping center here in Hawaii walking from the parking lot to the sidewalk I notice David and his wife walking out of a really high end clothing store with a "few" bags I kept looking at him he noticed me staring at him I remeber I said "Disturbed" he read my lips and nodded his head! He walked over to me asked me if i lived here in Hawaii and if I could recommend any really good places to eat l? Dude was so cool never gonna forget him telling me he's not on vacation and that this was his real job carrying bags for his wife lol!! He's a really cool guy really down to earth. He even stopped in at a guitar shop a friend of mine owns and he's a huge fan of this band. David is just awesome!

I never was a huge Disturbed fan but I saw them live here in Houston Tx last weekend and now I have a new respect for them. I was blown away from their performance. Simply amazing.

Both times I saw these metal gods live performances in south Florida......the 5 minute build up by Dave to the drums opening of this masterpiece.......pulses your heart and mind........legendary!!
I discovered this band existed just a few months ago. And one of the reasons I love them is that when they play live, they sound not only as in the record, but much better. The singer is amazing, and also the bass player.
I started listening to them since I was 14, I'm 33 now, and my 60 yr old self will still listen to this. I will comeback and leave my comment here once i reach that age.

I've seen this band live and let me tell you that each one of those guys is INSANELY talented...like each and every single one...extremely talented. David doesn't do much on stage, but live...his performance gives you an EXPERIENCE. Together as a unit...honestly...it was the absolute best concert I ever went to...and I've seen lots of great bands live. If you ever get the chance, definitely go see Disturbed!

Absolutely amazing live some acts have this gift of sounding close to the actual track. Whether you’re a fan of them or the genre of music or not this is music talent
This is definitely most common in metal. Deftones, Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Rage Against the Machine, Metallica, Gojira (most of the time), Slipknot, all very capable of having studio quality while live, and that's to just name a few!
This song was my introduction to Disturbed, years later every time David sings I am amazed!! Such talent, many thanks to our eldest son for the introduction (yes during a time of butting heads) forever a fan!! Yes our son and I now have a great relationship!!!

OK, I'm 73 and totally do not get heavy metal "music", and after hearing David Draiman sing "Sound of Silence", I can't help but think what a waste all his years doing heavy metal were. His voice deserves better than the yelling he does onstage. Really, the guy has a magnificent voice, and the world needs to hear more of it with him doing actual singing and not yelling.
metal screaming actually takes lots of practice and skill. also, just because you dont really like heavy metal (i dont blame you, most people dont like it), it doesnt mean that others arent allowed to enjoy it. a good singer is as well appreciated in metal as in most other genres. him creating music in this genre instead of in another is not a waste. I discovered this band existed just a few months ago. And one of the reasons I love them is that when they play live, they sound not only as in the record, but much better. The singer is amazing, and also the bass player.

I've seen this band live and let me tell you that each one of those guys is INSANELY talented...like each and every single one...extremely talented. David doesn't do much on stage, but live...his performance gives you an EXPERIENCE. Together as a unit...honestly...it was the absolute best concert I ever went to...and I've seen lots of great bands live. If you ever get the chance, definitely go see Disturbed!

Absolutely amazing live some acts have this gift of sounding close to the actual track. Whether you’re a fan of them or the genre of music or not this is music talent
This is definitely most common in metal. Deftones, Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Rage Against the Machine, Metallica, Gojira (most of the time), Slipknot, all very capable of having studio quality while live, and that's to just name a few!

This song was my introduction to Disturbed, years later every time David sings I am amazed!! Such talent, many thanks to our eldest son for the introduction (yes during a time of butting heads) forever a fan!! Yes our son and I now have a great relationship!!!

OK, I'm 73 and totally do not get heavy metal "music", and after hearing David Draiman sing "Sound of Silence", I can't help but think what a waste all his years doing heavy metal were. His voice deserves better than the yelling he does onstage. Really, the guy has a magnificent voice, and the world needs to hear more of it with him doing actual singing and not yelling.
metal screaming actually takes lots of practice and skill. also, just because you dont really like heavy metal (i dont blame you, most people dont like it), it doesnt mean that others arent allowed to enjoy it. a good singer is as well appreciated in metal as in most other genres. him creating music in this genre instead of in another is not a waste.
