13:17 an emotional train hit me where it hurts after you said all that. the girl i'm supposed to be with is now on social media addicted to validation from guys on there. i fell victim of this as well, and the addiction took me away from the girl i'm supposed to be with as well. you're a very smart man hamza, and you're definitely on the something when you say this. hearing that really got me thinking and realizing the power of social media stealing a life from everyone. a life of falling in love and living happy, i'm definitely going to abandon my instagram account now.

Guys, remember, UA-cam is also (largely) a social media. We may justify to ourselves that we use it to seek educational content, which I can't deny, might be the initial intention we have. But these nerds, like Hamza said, already got us by the balls. You and I might spend our time watching these self-improvement videos and actually take action. But there will always be that addicted, brainwashed part of us that will ge sucked into the rabbit hole of the algorithm. I want to make you aware of this, as self-awareness is one of, if not the most important aspect of making sustainable progress. Take care and God be with you ^^

As men, and more generally as full grown adults, it is ridiculous to let so called social medias destroy your mental health, makes you addict, or whatever. These guys could make the platform as addictive as they want, it is still just a screen and useless informations. You can easily switch them off. (I am not talking about kids and teens, though.)
But as a man, or as a woman, I am sorry but you have no excuses. Social medias are ridiculous and aren't addictive at all, at least when your IQ is above average. Not stylish, smart and definitely not independent because his value depends on betas. He can't exist outside of that stupid hierarchy. Not sure if you’ll read this… but THANK YOU HAMZA. I’m being dead serious when I say this. I am TRULY grateful for your help. This self improvement space is the best there is. Your work has legitimately changed my life for the better. I bet there’s plenty of copes people can say to me, but none of that matters because I’m living great and my mental health is better because of it. I don’t get upset at people disagreeing with me or getting angry at me because I’m living a great life and there’s no room for resentment or ill-will. For now on I will help other just as you’re helping us young men. Sure, this is another comment and everything but this is truly life changing. People might call this cringe and all that but I’m living happily and healthily and that’s all I can do.
So thank you Hamza. Keep moving forward with helping others. I’m just 17, about to turn 18 this August. I don’t know the meaning of life. Not sure If I’m supposed to right now but I do believe that men should fulfill something that will last longer than themselves. That’s what you’re doing and you should be proud of yourself. All of you should take a moment and be proud of your progress and success. Tell your family and friends you love them and don’t miss a day where you’re down… because there’s more to life than the internet. Enjoy yourself, but don’t get trapped or complacent. Always search for the next best thing and put in the effort, and the work, especially when you don’t feel like it.

And holy shit my life has been great, I dont miss it a single second. I have noticed that I sometimes get glued to youtube shorts since thats the most recent new form of short content, but imagine how much time would be wasted if I still had instagram. They could be the richest strongest men on earth but they completely miss the point of being a human. Just because you lack in certain areas does not mean you should ever give up trying to change for the better and trying to build up your community. A lot of this happened to me in my earlier years of highschool, it was only until my senior year when I burned all my bridges to the past, I realized the people around me were not real friends. This is when my solitude began, all the self improvement, the training, and my pursuit of knowledge made me different for my age. No one takes a step back and looks at the big picture, everyone is so damn controlled by the media and their ego, that they no longer think like people. That's why my solitude has been truly crushing me, I feel alone right now, I realized what I need though. The thing I need is to find people with some fucking soul, people who think for themselves. People who are in control of their lives, the people who realized what everything means. Not people who are fed by their ego, by people who aren't dedicated, those who go against their own word. I'm getting sick, and frustrated, when will my solitude end? I just need to focus and take action, it's all I can really do.

I have about 5 very close real friends. I have other friends, but we are just friendly. However close friends are what truly matter and seem to be hard to come by when I talk to others.
Only problem is I feel as though I am the only one that's ambitious and has responsibilities in my life. I am the only one that takes working out/self improvement seriously.
My other friends seem to never want to grow and it makes me feel like they sometimes hold me back. (However as though it may be that way, I am ultimately responsible for my own life)
Only 1 of those 5 friends hold equal if not higher ambition than me. The only problem is he is a dreamer not a doer. This man has grand buisness plans on becoming rich but he never takes his first steps toward them. He is 21 and doesn't even have a drivers permit yet, and we don't even live in the city! He then is also terrible with money and never has any money in his savings account because he spends it all.
No matter how many times I give him advice, motivate him, and be an actual good friend it seems like talking to a brick wall. I love this man, (no homo) he is very unique and loyal but this man is killing himself by doing nothing with his life.
I hope now you understand why I said the things I said given that context. Looking back it wasn't right, however it just aggravates me because I actually care.

Since discovering your content a few months ago, I spend far less time playing online video games, have squashed social media almost entirely, and have stopped watching porn. I don't go to the gym but I am committed to a callisthenic workout routine, which works very well for me. Needless to say, these videos have changed my life.
The catch is, I'm a nerd. I'm studying software and game design at university and I work in software development. I enjoy my studies and love my job, but I couldn't agree more with what you say about social media. What this has helped me realise is that, though I enjoy the problem solving process in software development, I also want to make a product that I am proud of. I could never be proud of a game like league of legends (I wasted more hours than I dare admit on league) or an app like Instagram. I want to make something that improves the lives of the people who use/play/interact with it. I want to make something that someone will go into as one person and come out the other side as a better person.

He uses the exact „Leader Personality“ described by Brunson (Which is to teach people what you have already done and showing them „The Way“)
He uses a backstory, as in that he was a „Jeffrey“ himself (to become relatable)
He admits weaknesses and faults (That he is susceptible to social medias manipulation himself. Again to become more relatable)
And he uses the „Us vs. Them“ Framework, also described by Russel Brunson (Us vs. Nerds, Aspiring Adonises vs. Jeffreys etc.)
This isn’t meant as criticism, I just find it fascinating.

I once had a kid in my class named Gerrit ( I come from the Netherlands) I would say this kid was addicted to memes, of course I can not know, but when he was happy and he would run in that anime style you know. He was a smart kid, highly intellectual, but he did not have friends, he was just terrible at social interactions, he would bully people who would want to become friends with him, he would say weird shit, and of course he would talk about anime, and always wear a hoodie. The team leader (of the teachers) came one time after my gymnastic lessons to talk about something. He made the people most close to Gerrit stay, and the rest could go. He said Gerrit came crying into his office saying that he did not have any friends. The team leader requested more people to talk to him. Naturally when you come crying and begging about something people should not like you and think lowly of you, which was the case now, only one person was shocked by the news and did something about it. The rest would say it is his own problem. Later another after another gymnastic lessons the team leader came again, saying that the kid tried to commit suicide, it failed, afterward the kid did nothing for school, he had to redo 2 classes which means you will be kicked out of the school. That is the last I heard from him

I am a software developer myself and I am trying to learn UX & UI design as a part of my self-improvement journey. Everything that Hamza says is true. A couple of points that I've already came across by are:
    1. You are nothing but a user to the company, just another statistic. They even encourage designers to make the homescreen so friendly as possible that you get dopamine from getting on the landing page.
    2. They are designing the apps so that you that you get the feeling you need to sign-up/join them by placing specific buttons in corners, the middle of the screen. They even make the things round because it gets your attention and it gives you the urge to click it.
The more I get into it, the darker it becomes. I hope that after I graduate I can get a normal job and maybe fix the problems with the modern day apps.

Today I'm thankful that God showed me this guy on UA-cam few months ago. His name is Hamza. And seriously, my life changed ever since I started watching you. I started learning foreign languages, reading, journaling, working out and started seeing progress, started praying more, reading Kur'an, getting closer to God and being a better person. Then sleeping more and deleting Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook, eating more healthy foods, quitting sugar except fruits. I'm getting closer to Adonisssssssssssss and I'm so thankful. I don't say this is because of me, or Hamza. God or universal consciousness, however you call it, it is raising healthy strong men and Hamza is promoting it. It works through Hamza and it's affecting all of us, cult members lol. We are getting strong. Thank God. Let's take the responsibility to make the world a better place. Peace and blessings on all of you who are reading this.

And one of my classmates who became a good friend in university got depressed and started having suicidal thoughts. We literally had to come through for him and advise him to just drop out of uni and take a break.

I find online dating apps to be much more dangerous and pernicious, because although it is just a screen that you can switch off, it has affected the whole dating world. So even if you are not directly using them, the fact that roughly 40% of young folks are using them makes meeting new people in real life more difficult than in our grandparents prime years.
