- Hidden amongst the spectacular mountain ranges of the Kahurangi National park of New Zealand, this beautiful off-the-grid cabin sits in paradise.

Affectionally titled the Honeywell Hut, after it's builder Jack Honeywell, the off the grid cabin, although relatively new, looks as though it could have sat on the land for a hundred years.

Being situated on such a remote property, the cabin has to be completely off the grid, collecting it's own water and generating power though a small solar system.

Me and my friends had a really good time here . We spent three nights in the cabin two weeks ago . We played cricket, sang songs. Prepared meals in outdoor fireplace. Even we had a bath in the river . We had the whole place ourselves!! We got carried away by the majestic views . This place is a paradise!!
His poem at the end was such a beautiful treat. Wonderful humans, wonderful home.
When this whole Covid thing has passed by, I would love to spend some time here whith these wonderful people in paradise.
I live in New Zealand & it’s majestic. God’s masterpiece, a privilege to surround our next of kin by such beauty. Well done you two, incredible.

had to watch it twice...it was so heartwarming. Richards's accent took a bit of getting used to as I enjoyed his humble, honest communication. Fiona's lively descriptions were entertaining and his ending poem was the icing on the cake... :)
Hmmm, just curious, where are you from? I'm from Serbia, English is not my first language, but for some reason I can understand various Engl accents easily. Maybe all these years of gaming and communicating online with people who have different English accents improved my understanding. XD

Oh my gosh, watching this video brought tears to my eyes and my heart beat in the most wonderful gentle way. My whole body became so calm and at peace. What a wonderful video and a lovely couple. That cabin on that land was spectacular and made me wish I could spend a wk out there. I suffer from agoraphobia but I’m sure I would be able to do that. Just by the way I felt immediately. Great video for sure. U r amazing.

I am from Canada where mountainous beauty takes your breath away with its' rarified beauty. Although here, with the hut history of 3 generational homefront with it's nefarious conjob beginnings actually became a treasure of immeasurable value.

For some reason, the first word that came to mind when I saw the house was how gentle it was. I think it was because it looked rather fairytale-like situated where it was, more so than actual fairytale-inspired tiny houses. So cosy and safe.... and it felt lived in too! Thank you for sharing!

JBL Asutavario interesting how they didn't show those beautiful sheep getting slaughtered. Good people don't abuse animals and no real enviromentalist eats animals or animal products. Animal agriculture is the leading cause of global warming and deforestation and ocean dead zones and habitat destruction. Referring to it as a 'beef' farm. Disgusting, those poor animals.

Wow Bryce, I just can't believe some of the tiny houses you have shared with us. I know I've said this before, however every time I think you have come up with the ultimate tiny house, you show up with another amazing property & tiny house. The couple both seem to be such nice people. Where they live is just stunning ! For me, this place would be a piece of Heaven. To top it all off, the poem at the end was inspiring ! I thoroughly enjoyed this video so much ! Glad to here you are back in the States. Are you glad to be back in your tiny house ?

There is not to many words which can show the pure beauty of solitude peace of nature, blissful. Where the flow of life flows into life's brilliant streams of life.
Seeing these tiny, comfy tiny houses makes me want to leave my 2 level house & just do it! I just need to save money & will do it. Even though my family is a little like, why will you do that? But, I LOVE tiny spaces. Everything you need right there. :] Lots of love from Brazil always! Never can get enough. ❤

What an absolute treasure that they have to call home. the cabin was charming and I actually think that if I could go to New Zealand I would definitely go there. Thank you for bringing that to us.
