So you supposed to have at least two mirrors the left and right the rear view isn’t necessary for being street legal. So you can tint your rear window and back passenger windows how ever dark you want because it technically isn’t obstructing your view. But the front windows they say obstruct your view of the mirrors. At least that’s what I’ve been told be cops.
For people that dont understand why tint have legal limit, it is there to make you still have vision outside of your car at night when driving hence why it's mostly the front window and not the back (although some of the limit is kinda overkill but anything to make people drive safer) Edit : I'm from Malaysia and each country have different tint limit and laws about it

I have got to say, when i used to walk home from school i had to cross the street and i usually just looked at the driver and waited for them to signal for me to cross but one day someone had a tint that was almost completely black and could not see them in the window so i had to wait for them to move. If i didnt just wait there they could have ran me over while i crossed the street. It was kind of dangerous and a inconvenience for me.

@@lego_is_cool8687if you can't see in the back then someone could be hiding drugs, weapons, a kidnapped person, a dead body etc. It's a safety issue. In a case a few years back someone was kidnapped and the driver had illegally tinted windows so cameras couldn't see his face.

@@donaldhobson8873No the main reason for tints is privacy. There’s also other reasons like so you won’t have glare in the windows and also heat reduction. It’s mainly for privacy considering people always look in the cars
