I hope you all enjoy this weeks episode. Byron Bay is such a magical place. We loved our travels there and the amazing people we met along the way. Emmet is definitely a fun character who has built a wonderful home for himself! Be sure to let me know what your favourite feature of his home was. For me, as cool as the bath house is, I would have to say it's that amazing geodesic window!
*+Living Big In A Tiny House* Wow, this is phenomenal. It feels like the _TARDIS_ with it looking, well, err.., tiny on the outside. But, step inside and it feels much larger because of the ceiling space. The ablutions block, or should that be, _the off-suite_ is fabulousness in it's soft pink and clear, moveable walls. Thanks Bryce. This is quite different approach to the concept of _tiny homes_ and _Emmet_ is inspirational, cool, funny and fun and I just love his outlook.
Living Big In A Tiny House I loved that amazing geo window but that bath house is also amazing. I've got to say Bryce that you are a natural in front of the camera and that you photographer wife make a great team. Always the best made videos!! Seriously the best!!
His "nothing to lose" approach is right on! Even if you're a fairly skilled carpenter, people make mistakes all the time, so why not try with materials that were free in the first place? Way less pressure that way, and you always learn if it doesn't work out (you rarely ever lose - you win, or you learn :)). Really refreshing video, Bryce. Thanks as always for your great work and continuing to tell these types of stories! :)

Bryce and Emmett, I’ve looked at SO many tiny home videos. After awhile it felt like so many were just ‘the same’. I absolutely love Emmett’s house and bath house. His use of reclaimed items make his home truly unique. After all the ‘same’ tiny boxes I was falling out of love with the idea that I could live in one. All thru your video I too smiled and felt like my tiny house dream had been restored. Emmett, you are truly a lovely man and to stand by your convictions to accomplish your dream speaks volumes on your character. Any man who loves their pink tub and sink makes me feel that there is hope for mankind! Bryce, thank you so much for sharing Emmett’s home with all of us. I love your videos. Your enthusiasm with each homeowner is felt and feels honest. Thank you. Carleen
This guy has so much fun and his happiness is so contagious! I think the world needs more of these kind of people to salvage our over-stressed society!
Bryce, I truly appreciate your positivity and your enthusiasm. I love the way you always manage to find something truly special to complement and highlight. This build is charming and perfect for its owner. My favorite feature is most definitely the gorgeous dome colored glass window.
I'm new to this channel yet I've watched almost all videos over night just to get inspirations to built my own tiny house. I'm amazed by this man. Such a clever & humble person. And such an inspiring video Bryce. Can't wait to see more videos from you. Thank you.
What a wonderful house! In the 1970s I was in love with HANDMADE HOUSES A GUIDE TO THE WOODBUTCHER’S ART and THE CRAFTSMAN BUILDER. I wanted to live in any or all of the houses. This video is like stepping into my dreams. Thank you. LFP
Tree house toilet and super spacious bath house are absolutely unique for a tiny house. Congrats for building such a unique place to live in that too in mid of a nature. Thanks Bryce for making and sharing this video.
Between the pink sink & the windows "that mostly work" made this guy so endearing. His happiness & pride at the home he accomplished is actually quite motivating.
I absolutely love the bathhouse. To be able to relax in a nice, hot bath and look out into the seclusion of nature at the same time must be so awesome.
I remember watching this a few years ago and UA-cam once again recommended it. What a lovely guy. It's refreshing to see some of the older episodes again. Reminds you that there are some really good, and cool people out there.
If anyone EVER had any doubt about tiny house living, this guy surely has just dispelled all of them. What a great man. What a joy for life. I'm inspired by him and another step closer to my own tine house.
The bathhouse would definitely give it the feel of a luxury house. Even I dont have one in my house, just the tiny shower box. It beautiful to see how genuinely content he sohnded. Being a counsellor, i know how stressful the present times are, and making a decision to leave that and change your entire lifestyle is so commendable. Loved his house and the fact that so many of his driends helped out. Thanks for these videos Bryce. Hopefully someday I may join the tiny house community as well. 😁🙃
Hi Marisa! Thank-you so much for your comment and wonderful insight. Working as a counsellor I'm sure you see many people who are struggling with the pressures of work and money. It's nice to know that there are options out there for a simpler way of life still! Interestingly, I know of quite a few counsellors who are building tiny homes for themselves. Some are even able to work remotely via internet sessions with their clients allowing them to travel. I wish you all the best in building your own tiny home someday!
It warmed my heart so much to see how genuinely happy he is in his self-created tiny home, filled with so much character. I loved that stained-glass window, but nothing touched me more than this kind man's humble and gentle spirit. Love seeing people be content with whatever it is they have. This video put a huge smile on my face and I think we can all learn something from these people. Love it! Thank you Bryce for another wonderful, inspiring video! :)
Your tiny house is by far the nicest I saw, watching a lot of other tiny houses. The recycled wood gives it so much more character then all the new built ones. Not to mention your bath house. There are spa's where you pay a lot of money for a room and a bathroom like that. Enjoy living in it.
I feel like these people are a blessing. In so many ways. Their humility, calmness and lovely nature is just a blessing. May God bless you all and mostly Bryce
I've been watching quite a few of your videos, Bryce, and I love all these tiny houses and your way of introducing them. Thanks so much, it's truly inspiring! The window and the bath house Emmet built are amazing, just like every house you present has its own special features. I'm totally impressed by these lovely, talented people who built these literally wonderful homes. Every time I watch, I'm left with my mouth open, smiling and feeling warm and happy.
I really like the artistic feel here. It makes up for the tininess. completely. His resourcefulness is like a breath of fresh air. Thanks for sharing this beauty.
I LOVE that bathroom ... I'd need flyscreens, though; I would *NOT* want a many-legged "guest" visiting me in such a vulnerable state - there's nowhere to flee! XD But I can imagine soaking in that tub with a book and listening to nothing but nature after work or on the weekend. What a way to relax!
I could listen to Mr. Emmet all day. I like his accent. I don’t know, his choice of words and the way he spoke. It is wonderful to live and be surrounded by such beautiful nature. I am glad he is able to sort his priorities and he is happy. Wish him a good life! 👍🏻
Beautiful tiny home, loved everything about it, especially the gorgeous bathroom. Also the guy is an awesome human, lovely personality and cheerful. Xx
I loved this tour! The amount of recycled/re-purposed materials is amazing. This fellow should be very proud of what he has created. If I didn't live in the freezing depths of Canada I would for sure build a separate bath house!
Fair enough too. I have only experienced a Canadian summer so far, and that was amazing, but I do hear it gets beyond freezing in some parts of Canada. Even more reason for a hot bath though! :)
I have thought about an outdoor tub/toilet for the spring summer and fall! I think I will still need some indoor "facilities" for when it's -45, though :) Thanks again for the great content Bryce!
i'm definitely not brave enough to bathe in a room with windows for walls, but i absolutely love the way it looks. such a beautiful tiny home - especially the geometric dome window
Fair enough too. Out there in this location though, there really is absolutely no-body around, and it's all private land too. I can definitely see why some would still be uncomfortable about it though. The geodesic window was my favourite feature in this home, it's so well done! Thanks for watching. :)
outdoor bathing is the best. For the first time it will be awkward although no one out there see you naked but still you feel somebody watching you.. at least some birds 😂 but after the water hits your body, it's a great experience. Sorry for my english. I live in a country where some people choose to take a bath in the river 😂
Are y'all unaware of how few people are in areas like these in Australia? The dude up there says there's nobody out there and if it's private land.... Basically zero risk. Also notice how many vertical and horizontal sections go across the walls ... If someone was creeping, they wouldn't see much. And chances are, the Australian wilderness would deter most creepers. Have you seen the spiders there???
This would be for me the most fit tiny house in the philosophy that we all should have living in tiny houses. Recycling all possible materials and living sostenible life style. Emmett is very talented wonderful way to use his skills building his own house. Love his way to live life and the location is amazing. Thanks for sharing Bryce ! My best feature is the bath house and window. Inspirational video remain as our intent to live life fully debt free and being responsible with the environment. 👌
Love how tiny houses remind me of - The Coat of Many Colors...especially this one. Very special. As a women, I would put some white sheer curtains in the bathhouse so they can flow with the wind giving peeks as to what's inside. Also, it was so cute how excited Bryce was to go into the bathhouse, lol.
I love this off-grid man's bare-foot life-style. He is really a rich having free soul in viewpoint of his open- life house and gorgeous bathroom in the nature.
This was the most "funnest" Tiny Home interview ever, Long may you enjoy your life Emmett in your unique home with the bath house & tree house dunny, Just simply the best! The Geometric Bedroom window made in the awesome almost Sacred Triangular pane shape was not only inspiring but also incredibly beautiful. Loved all of it!
How does it look, how does it seem, how does it feel? The rich warmth and colors of all the woods inside and out, the use of the space inside and out and the space it's nestled into just remarkable. Don't you wish you could be this happy and content?
i love that he has put in pink tub and sink It’s as if he is preparing the place for a love to arrive, but is happy within himself, not incomplete. how wonderful. Bless his heart. His radiance shines out.
I found myself smiling through the entire video. What a charming man with a beautiful and unique home!

I loved this tour! The amount of recycled/re-purposed materials is amazing. This fellow should be very proud of what he has created. If I didn't live in the freezing depths of Canada I would for sure build a separate bath house!
Samantha Franke
You could build a separate building with a sauna + bathroom. They're common here in Finland :)
Oooo that sounds lovely!
What a lovely man and with such talent. Wonderful! His happiness is contagious!
i'm definitely not brave enough to bathe in a room with windows for walls, but i absolutely love the way it looks. such a beautiful tiny home - especially the geometric dome window
Fair enough too. Out there in this location though, there really is absolutely no-body around, and it's all private land too. I can definitely see why some would still be uncomfortable about it though. The geodesic window was my favourite feature in this home, it's so well done! Thanks for watching. :)
HAHA I'm glad I am not the only one who thought this Dana! All the power to those with the guts to bare it all... I am a square.
outdoor bathing is the best. For the first time it will be awkward although no one out there see you naked but still you feel somebody watching you.. at least some birds 😂 but after the water hits your body, it's a great experience. Sorry for my english. I live in a country where some people choose to take a bath in the river 😂
Kaze Chan don’t worry about it, your english is perfect! and it’s probably a liberating experience, i’m just far too cowardly to try it haha
I'm so happy Bryce made his closing statement sitting comfortably in that pink tub 🥰
What a fabulous tiny home - just like a dream - simplistic and perfect in every way and so connected to nature :)
That bath house is fantastic.
Man he seems like such a great guy. Really grateful and humble heart and did a great job on his home.
What a beautiful home, and that bath house! Emmet has such wonderful energy too.🙌
That 'cooktop' stove looks to be an antique Griswold gas two-burner. A true collector's item with character!
I love how your reclaimed wood made for beautiful and unique color combinations.
I would never leave this bathroom! For sure!
It's definitely a great spot! Even for a cold bath one one of those super hot Aussie summer days. :)
How does it look, how does it seem, how does it feel? The rich warmth and colors of all the woods inside and out, the use of the space inside and out and the space it's nestled into just remarkable. Don't you wish you could be this happy and content?
What beautiful house. What a likeable personality. Watching this awesome guy transforming his vision into reality gave me goosebumps.
i love that he has put in pink tub and sink
It’s as if he is preparing the place for a love to arrive, but is happy within himself, not incomplete. how wonderful. Bless his heart. His radiance shines out.
I really love the advice to practice and be creative with free/reclaimed items.
I love the different woods he’s used to clad the outside of his house!
So bold and so beautiful! Happiness really has no price tag on it!
The house is very cute.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😍😍
