I've been modeling in Blender since about 2015 but more recently in the past couple of years. I've been making games and assets in Unity since 2011 and I'm currently working on a multiplayer RTS game that I'll be happy to announce later this year.
I use a Canon Lumix GH5 camera to record my videos with the Olympus 17mm F1.2 lens as well as the Laowa F2.0 7.5mm compact dreamer lens. Sometimes I also use a GoPro Hero 8, a Insta360 One X and a Sony rx100 mark vii. For audio I use a Rode NTG shotgun microphone connected to a RME Fireface UFX II sound card.

I would probably Alt+D (Duplicate Linked) the planes rather than Shift+D (Duplicate). A very minor difference here, as you were done with the object and it was small, but convenient if you decide to tweak it later. Even Duplicate doesn't actually copy the full depth (normally shares e.g. particle systems and materials), it's adjustable in the editing preferences.

It’s not that I don’t like these episodes, I do. But I’d like to see you do more of your streams. I appreciate that when you do do them (I said do-do🤦🏽♂️) they’re more than an hour, but even if it was only 20/30 minutes... Either way, thanks for the content and sharing your skills. Whatever you do, I’ll keep watching.

Selecting multiple polys is faster with ctrl. Click the first one then hold ctrl and click the last one and it will select everyone between.

You can press Z while using the knife tool, so it goes straight, it follows the axes (it might be another button I can't remember off the top of my head)

Quick realism thing: Aircraft take off on the angled deck not the straight one other wise landing and departing aircraft could collide
A cool idea would be to model a low poly fighter jet such as the f22 to put on the carrier. I know that the f22 isn't a carrier based aircraft before someone points it out

4:10 select 1 face and hold down ctrl and select the last face you want and it will automatically select all faces in between those face. That would save you alot of time
Why not use a procedural node on the merch to keep the text in frame while zooming in and out (or move to belly-print)?
Would you be able to make a tutorial of how to use AddRoutes? Specifically if someone wanted to use an external MIDI device to better navigate the UI / Speed up workflow with mapped shortcuts?
"E to extude, S to scale" "At nipple height"? I think the ladies will object..... probably
Or put "r to rotate" at nipple height, fitting as it is.
'e to extrude' should be in a little larger, 3D font (so it looks like it's popping out of the shirt). 's to scale' should remain flat and maybe a smaller font (so it's OBVIOUS that it's smaller scale!). Just a thought.
For the shirt, the placement of the text is fine but I'd like to kindly suggest using Helvetica or a similar font.
The 'e' in the font you used rotated slightly is rather similar to the 'e' that Heineken the brand use. *Fun fact: They use the 'e' rotated to the left slightly in the logo to denote a smiling face.*
_Edit: I think your shirts and hoodies should include images of models from this 10 minute series._
Thanks for the ideas I'll make that happen with the models. As for the font, Helvetica I can't use due to copyright I think (I have Adobe Creative Cloud fonts) so I took a similar font and I modified the e to resemble Blender font slightly.
@@Imphenzia That's great. I do know you can find commercial use fonts very close to Helvetica. A quick Google search should give you some results. I look forward to seeing the models on the shirts.

When I came to try any of your challenges, I end up depressed.
I feel the same way when I watch Monster Energy Supercross and then I hop on my own motocross bike :) They make it look easy too. But it's just a matter of practice, practice, practice. Try to have fun while practicing and set goals low to begin with, just make very simple objects at first, like a cake, a wooden crate, etc. :)
How about a good old, classic UFO? Bonus points, if you manage to put your little alien character in there to pilot it too.
Oh yes, I acutally made both an alien and a UFO in my Ludum Dare gamejam game. Great idea :)

2:50-2:54 I tried using that vertex snapping tool on the X axis, but it didn’t work, even though I held down the Ctrl key. I did it without a numb pad and mouse (I have a Mac). Any help?
