At the same time he's not really using any crazy advanced techniques here. It's pretty straight forward and a very good exercise for a beginners I feel.

I actually tried this method of modeling and texturing and I made a little car in under 30 minutes and it was very fun. I'm going to start doing low poly models like this cuz I'll be making a game and I want it to be simple so that slow computers can run it and this works so well!

Fantastic, simple techniques that can be use by all , best thing about this speed run is that you have shown us how to get one look and feel for a scene with many different models. Thanks and Bravo!!!

Hi - thank you! Yes, I thought of that AFTER the video too - that hey, pretty good that they are all themed similarly =) You could tweak headlights and wheels for some additional character though I suppose.

this video was awesome and a lot of fun to watch. Love the methodology how you work out designs and go through the steps. been enjoying the videos as ive been getting back into art and into learning blender myself after taking an extended break from art/3d modeling.

Hi - great to hear! Yes, I figured I couldn't make the cars individually from scratch and a bonus with this method is a consistent look between cars. You could do further tweaking to headlights, wheels, etc. to make it a bit more diverse. Welcome back from your break!
