I love your videos. To learn that sulfates and silicones are not evil has been an eye opener. It blows my mind when I see all the comments where people only wash their hair once a week. I am 66 and have always had an oily scalp. It was horrible going through school and my mother would only let us wash our hair once a week. My scalp and hair by then, was so oily she would put cornstarch into the roots and rub it in like you would dry shampoo. (Good thing I was a blonde). As an adult I tried going every 3rd day and when I had my dermatologist appointment, she noticed I had sebum buildup which can clog the follicles and therefore lead to hair loss. She said if you have an oily scalp you have to wash your hair every day! I comprised and have gone every other day, but when that day comes, the scalp is already oily. I cleanse my scalp well and only apply conditioner to mids and ends. Love your routine and keep up the great videos.
Just did the k18 mask put in ends and half way up only, left in 4 min, then added the cer-100 then left in 10, then rinsed then towel dried, then added in my amika soul food mask and omg such a huge difference!! Hair was very bad after getting it bleached and colored I've never seen so much breakage. K18 worth allll the money too! 🥰 Thanks abbey for telling us all the info and the fact you contacted k18 so that we are able to still use conditioner as well.
I have followed your wash day routine and my hair always feels so amazing for several days after wash day. I have learned many wonderful things from you about hair and everything else beauty related. I have tried many of the products you suggest and I just want to say thank you for all of your hard work and research as well as the willingness to share with all of us here. Thank you Abbey, and I pray for you often 💜
Abbey, I LOVE your videos! You are truly one of the most talented content creators on UA-cam. I have changed to washing my hair once a week and have incorporated all of your wash day guidance. It has transformed my hair. I have shared you with all of my friends too. Keep these videos coming!! ❤️
Loved this video! Since you only wash once a week, it would be great if you could do a video showing us how you style your hair each day in between and what products you use on what days. I usually give up and wash by day 3 or 4 because I just don’t know what to do with my hair. 🤷♀️
I used to wash my hair every day or every other day for 26 years of my life until I found your channel and followed your tips 😊 Now I’m able to wash it once a week and it’s grown so much in only 8 months. Thank you so much for sharing your wealth of knowledge 🙌🏼
I love washing my hair on Mondays after hot yoga. The heat and humidity are fantastic with the oils and scalp treatment. It is also laundry day so I feel like I am accomplishing a non personal task.
I am African American with "4c" hair however it acts loose curl - straight hair. oily scalp within 2 days. found you almost a year ago and many of your suggestions have really helped me.
Hey Abbey! Could we possibly have an updated video of how you style your hair each day? I'm trying to convince myself to only wash my hair once per week, but I get really lost on what the heck to do with my hair between washes (especially when I'm working out 3-5 days per week!)
Thank you for filming this Abbey! I remember you saying filming your last wash day routine was a pain in the butt as far as camera logistics go, really appreciate you going through all that trouble again!
Great video! I wash my hair twice a week and knowing myself, I wouldn’t be able to maintain all these steps. What step do you think makes the most difference in terms of repair after washing or where would you recommend people start? 😊
I know for me....using a really good conditioner was what helped my hair get back in shape! And using masks. I'd never really used them before and now that I do...wow! The difference is so noticeable!
I have fine thin hair and probably androgenetic alopecia. As I get older I hadn’t been able to grow it past my shoulders because it would get so dry and brittle. I’ve made several changes, most are your tips. As of now my hair is almost bra strap length!!! It’s still thinning but the ends are so healthy, and shiny!!
Have you tried Minoxidil 5%? There’s also finasteride. As far as the thickness of the hair, there are products on the market to thicken the hair fibre. The most common ingredient that I know of is Stemoxydine. If your hair feels very hard and brittle, it could be from too much protein. The first thing I would do is find a very lightweight clear shampoo that is low ph, and follow up with a heavy duty moisture mask and then follow up with using oil on the ends of your hair. Remember that if your hair is very stubborn and rough on the ends, it’s probably splitting, so make sure you get that checked out as it could be splitting up the hair shaft and causing more breakage. Hope this helps.
A shower filter showdown would be so informative to watch. I bought a 15 stage shower filter from Amazon and I don't think it did anything for my hair. I have recently purchased a Jolie filter which retails for $140. Haven't tried it yet, but fingers crossed it works. Had no idea that the one you use is so affordable and efficient!
Someone posted a test on Amazon of the chlorine level for this filter because I went to buy it and saw the failed test…I’d love a showdown too with actual chlorine testing for proof. They all claim to work but would be so helpful for them to be tested
My scalp and breakage has been an issue for me recently. So I started trying to incorporate your tips and I just got a dry shampoo so hopefully that helps. My scalp is so aggravating that I am on the verge of shaving my head. You give me hope.
I have very thin fine and dry hair. I wash 3 times a week. And each day is different. One day is clarifying and K18 another day is just an ACV rinse and nothing else in shower and then one day is shampoo and conditioner in shower. Always Pureology leave in conditioner either after K18 or when I get out of shower. I feel like it's a process but so is my skin care routine at almost 50. I spend less time.in and use less makeup than in my 20s and 30s but spend way more time on hair treatments and skin care!
Monday and Friday OR Sunday and Thursday depending. With my fine hair I have gotten my wash days from daily, to every other day to twice a week in the last 4 years. What I found for my hair's healthiest appearance is twice a week. Ooh never tried a shine mask...maybe I will:)
What? No leave in conditioner at the end? You’re the best and you have motivated me to take the time once a week to follow this routine (plus the Pureology Color Fanatic leave in). I’m 62 and my hair is in the best condition of my life and at least 6 inches longer than I could ever grow it before. I get compliments on it frequently…you are never too old and it’s never too late to have long beautiful hair!!!
I think she just forgot about it as she mentions still using it in new videos of hers! I use this or product too and it’s just amazing. Here’s to having long luscious hair forever no matter our age!❤️
Good tip is to brush in the hair conditioner/mask - I use a tangle teezer or tangle angel to do it (just a regular brush is fine, but withour boar bristles). It will help with the product penetration and even distribution on hair :)
I had no idea you could condition your hair (other than with leave in) AFTER K18. This is what stops me from using K18 as often cause I can barely get a brush through without conditioner. So happy I saw this.
My haircare routine is similar too but the key is to have discipline and be consistent to get a thick and full hair besides of inverting on quality items for my hair. It had already brought great results for me.
My hair routine is the OGX nourishing coconut milk shampoo and conditioner. I’ve used that one since I was 4. It smells and works soo good. Then after the shower I use the OGX nourishing coconut milk anti breakage serum or the OGX nourishing coconut hydrating oil mist. The oils smell sooo good too. I only use the OGX nourishing line.
I have the exact opposite routine lol. I wash and condition my hair daily, using a deep conditioner once a week. I do also use a leave in conditioner on the ends and typically air dry. But it works for me. I have an oily scalp and fine hair for reference. But love your recommendations and wish I had the time for your hair routine lol. Thanks for such great content!
Ugh! Me too! I'm trying to go every other day now. The first two non-wash days went surprisingly well but yesterday (which luckily was a Sunday) did not. I woke up with an extra oily scalp but decided to see if I could correct it with dry shampoo. It worked for about an hour. The rest of the day my scalp had that hot, oily, itchy feeling that I think only oily fine haired women know. I could never wash only once a week, it would be so gross!
Thank you for including the simple 'back to basic' tips alongside the more advanced detailed tips. It sounds so stupid, but the part about ensuring that the ends of the hair are soaked in conditioner has been such a game changer for me already! I was previously falling down into the trap that you mentioned of naturally aiming the conditioner to the mid lengths then only spreading what's left of the conditioner onto the ends! 😳
Two things: what, if any, products do you put in your hair after washing? Like, leave-in conditioners, mousse, etc.? Second, I would love to see you review shine masks such as (Drybar Liquid Glass Instant Glossing Rinse). Thank you for your videos. I have thoroughly enjoyed utilizing your process.
I was today years old when I realized I’ve been washing my hair incorrectly for my *whole life* 🤭 thank you for breaking this down for us, Abbey! I’m excited to try these steps out on my next wash day. 🤗
@aimrehembree1022 How were you washing it incorrectly? Calling your hair up on your head? Shampoo on your entire head? Not doing other products in addition to shampoo ? Not doing sections?
It’s such a struggle in my brain about coconut oil 😩 I’m a white/platinum blonde and I’ve heard so many great things ab coconut oil BUT then I’ve had 2 different stylists over the years tell me to stay far away from it bc it doesn’t penetrate the hair and it can cause breakage. I can find the EXACT opposite info online. Ugh. The battle continues 😖 LOVE this updated video though!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
@@InimeKai they definitely were not bc they offered nothing. I always brought it up to get their opinions. They were both so sure with their answer saying they tell their blondes to stay awaaaay from coconut oil. 😐
@@christieoquin0045very confused what hair color has to do with whether or not you can use coconut oil. I think porosity would be much more relevant. Also, pretty sure at least by now, it’s been proven that coconut oil can penetrate the hair shaft. That doesn’t mean it will work well for everyone though.
Question - what type of night cap/bonnet do you use to keep your pillow from getting ruined from the oil the night before wash day? I have been using oil in the morning of wash day and leaving it in all day for this reason. I wash Sunday and either Wednesday or Thursday depending on how oily my hair looks/feels.
As always thanks for your professional and meticulous approach to your videos. Could you create a video an shine rinse video and talk about ingredients and fragrance. As a post menopausal woman, I have issues with smells. Amika is a no go for me because of the fragrance. Thanks, Abbey.
I just want to thank you for sharing this! I bought most of the products you mentioned in this video and was amazed at how my hair felt after the wash day! Thank you so much for all the information you share!
I wash my hair every Friday night now. :)) I work all week with my hair in a ponytail so it helps me not having to wash it! I put rosemary oil in my hair and ogx argan oil for 1 hr then wash, hair mask, conditioner then when my hair is damp I put my Moroccan argan oil. I also use heatless curls every night
Do you have a video about oils for your hair? Best oils? How to apply? Love your hair videos! It’s exactly what I needed to start my hair care journey!
Hi Abbey! I wash on with on Thursday or Friday depending on my schedule!! Thank you so much for all your help on my hair!!! In the last 2 years I’ve gone from the worst shape it’s ever been in to now, the best shape it has EVER been in in my life (and length!!). I appreciate all your knowledge and advice ❤
I have to wash every other day because I have PCOS which makes my hair extremely oily. So for the health of my scalp I try to keep it clean as much as I can even though it damages my hair. Every two days seems to be the sweet spot, more often leads to irritation and less often leads to irritation as well. I also like to have salicylic acid in my shampoo to help with cleaning the pores as I tend to get bumps and sores from the excessive oiliness.
My routine is similar to yours. I only wash once a week, usually on Sunday, because it would take way too long on work mornings! I love your hair content so much and all your product recommendations! ❤️ Ordering the K18 Shampoos now!
I love your suggestions, the one thing that I can recommend to you all, is that when washing your hair, put head down, face facing down, that is the only way your fingers really can go under hair and you can wash the crown under hair, top, and sides, you can’t really get your fingers on your hair to wash the scalp when you have hair hanging down . It really makes a difference. 🎄❤️🎄
Thanks Abbey!! When rinsing conditioner, how do I know when to stop rinsing? Should it be when the hair feels more squeaky clean or is it ok to stop rinsing even when it still feels "slippery"? Thank you
I’m going to try this! But with slightly different products, like the Hairitage ACV scalp treatment and Olaplex No. 3 treatment, also I got my detangle brush from the dollar store 😃
Hey Abbey, have you had dialogue with K18 people and they advised that you can re-wet your hair, apply conditioner/mask, and then rinse? It’s just that the instructions explicitly say “do not rinse out”. I always just apply a leave in conditioner after the 4 mins. I never re-wet my hair or use a rinse out product afterwards. Thanks in advance, Jen.
I know Abbey has discussed this with K18’s team. She talks about it in a previous video titled Healthy Hair Wash Day routine. If you go to her channel and look at the Hair playlist, it is the first wash day video that occurs after her Olaplex vs K18 showdown.
Thank you so much for the update Abbey! You are helping so many of us and it’s really appreciated! I was wondering if what you do throughout the week has changed, & if so, can you do an updated video on that too please? 💞💕💗
I can’t believe the amount of product you have to use! I was the same exact way before I got a home water softener. I’ve tried the shower filters (LITERALLY ALL OF THEM) until I read an article that they are really not that affective…..even the pricier ones. You really should invest in a water softener. I now literally use a quarter size of each product I apply including shampoo & conditioner.
Feeling like your hair isn't clean on the days 6 and 7 obviously means you are not washing your hair often enough for your skin type. Especially if you are prone to having irritated scalp on the back of your head. Washing every 4 to 5 days could be ideal for you. Washing hair less does not make it less oily, as you know. Only hormones and diet affect that.
Thank you! I know that she's one of the people that advocates that she's moved to once a week washing, being an "oily/greasy" scalped person, but if it's not working for you, then it's not working!!! Your scalp produces the same amount of oil, no matter what you do. If you need to wash daily do it!!!! Scalp health is most important!!! I'm afraid people might try to stretch washes and lose hair bc of it.... not worth it. Science tells us that no matter what you try, oil production doesn't change. I think some ppl just get used to it being greasier for longer.
I wash once a week since watching your videos and I choose my wash night to be Saturday night before church on Sunday morning and by Wednesday I’m ready for a dry shampoo and updo look! It works perfectly for my lifestyle and schedule! I am 6 months pregnant and my hair has been super healthy and I’m worried that when I have baby it’s going to fall out or get brittle, it never has before (this is my 4th pregnancy) but I’m still irrationally worried because I’ve been working real hard on keeping it healthy. Any advice or good knowledge out of your book about post partum hair care??
I found that anytime I stopped using my prenatal vitamins after having my babies, that I experienced terrible hair loss. I had bald spots 😢. Perhaps it was more hormonal and vitamin deficiency than my wash routine as that really didn’t change. I hope your hair stays full and healthy!
I'm so glad you said that you rinsed out the K18 after the four minutes. I just COULDN'T not use conditioner on my hair. Now I'll use the K18, wait 4 minutes, rinse and go with the conditioner. That makes so much sense! Girl, you're good! Great video....again!
I wash once a week on Sunday, but my scalp gets really itchy & flaky by day 5/6. I’ve never done a scalp treatment, so I’m going to try the one you used in this video! Thanks!
Wash your hair 2 or maybe 3 times a week to avoid that problem. Also you might need a medicated shampoo it could be dandruff, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis(sounds like this one), folliculitus, etc.
I've always washed my hair almost every day b/c I run almost every day. I have a slightly oily scalp, do not bleach, do not blow dry or use heat styling, so it is in good shape. I think only my show cats have a more complicated wash day routine (degrease, 3 diff shampoos, rinse, dunk, blow dry by hand 1 hr) than you, but it is working for you so that's what counts.
Abbey can you please do another week long hair vlog? Love your videos! I would love to go a week without washing because my hair really transformed when I moved from washing it daily to every 2-3 days after watching your channel, but I can never go longer as I always tend to breakout (particularly along the hairline which makes logical sense) when I go without washing. But I admire your involved wash day routine! :)
If you have fine hair it gets oily faster and 2-3 days is good. Hair washing varies on your hair type, lifestyle, products you use and habits. If you sweat a lot or get breakouts don’t wash it only once a week bc it’ll make the problem worse. As long as your scalp is clean your hair will grow properly.
I use one of those little face wash foam makers instead of using my hands to foam the shampoo before applying it to my hair. Game changer. Plus, I use much less product. I only wish they were bigger.
My hair is about the same length as yours. I shampoo once a week as well, shampooing twice. The way I'm using the K18, is I shampoo, throw it in a microfiber towel. Then I put the K18 in, wait my 5 minutes, then put in ouai leave in, with whatever oil I'm using, and then igk blow dry treatment. Then I do my blow out.
Thanks Erin. That makes sense, although I find my hair has lots of knots after using a clarifying shampoo and am worried I will break / damage my strands by combing before the k18. Not sure what to do :-(.
I wash my hair every fourth day with no consideration to the day of the week. My wash routine is much less complex. I use a scalp treatment or shine rinse just whenever I feel the need. I have lilac highlights that I maintain with a pigment-depositing conditioner (sometimes mixed in with a hair mask) every third shampoo. I find I don't need to follow K-18 treatment with any conditioner with my chin-length hair. If I'm not color-depositing or treating with K-18, I rotate through my various conditioners and masks (Kenra, Amika, Oribe, or Redkin Acid Bonding). I don't use any Oliplex products anymore as I don't feel they do anything for my hair. I follow every wash with either the Redkin Acid Bonding leave in or Alterna CC Cream and Kenra Blow-dry Spray. (Smells sooooooo good!)
I wash my hair on a Thursday and a Sunday, I tried once a week washing for about a month but it left me feeling really gross and itchy! I wish I could do all the steps in this routine but normal hair washing shower routine already takes 40+ minutes 😩🥺
Omg yes same!! I tried going 5 days between washes but my hair became so dull and dry! Eventually I made it to twice a week and my scalp has never been better!! Also it takes me about 40+ mins showering lol I aint doing washing my hair more than twice a week😂
I fried my hair w bleach, and was so self conscious about it so I started extensions. Now I have soft hair but it’s so thin. I took them out and I’m doing my best to heal my hair. I wash it on sundays and wednesdays 😊
Hi Abbey. Love your videos. I wash my hair every 5 to 7 days. My hair is very fine. I use Olaplex 6 and mix their oil at 3-4 days. I will use #3 as well before washing. I just love Olaplex. I will use dry shampoo as well which currently is Living Proof. I will try Ouai the next time. Thanks and take care.
I have always washed Fridays since I can remember. My family and I always went to church on Saturdays, plus it was ready for the weekend. I just didn't stop this habit after all these years. When I go through phases when I get more greazy, my 2nd day of the week is usually Monday or Tuesday night, depending if there's something going on or how beat I look LOL. Now that I'm on Accutane, I'm back to one days on Friday.
Thanks for the updated video, these are my favorites! 😍 For more affordable shampoo/conditioner would you recommend L’Oréal bond repair or NatureLab Tokyo perfect repair?
Recently I have found that putting mask/conditioner etc on actually wet not wrung out hair makes the product actually work much better- a bit like a curly hair routine with the bowl thing even though I dont have curly/coils
Hi, have you tried using a wide toothed comb in the shower to comb through the hair when you condition,I find it helps a lot especially for the tangle’s 😀❤️
Hey Abbey, your hair is my inspiration so I'm excited for this video. I wash Wed. and Sun., but Sun. is when I do my longer, deep conditioning treatment. Also, I don't wash in the shower, I use the sink and wash in tepid/cool water since my hair is colored. Have a fabulous day! 😍
I wash every other day. I find my hair will look oily if I don’t and actually prefer to wash daily but to be kind to my hair try to skip a day. Just starting to gather all the products you have suggested! I’m 50 and my hair is just not what it once was. Hoping your tips and tricks help :) love your channel
I love that you don’t use heat styling but rather the microfiber towel like me! I’m gonna remember to “split up” my hair when conditioning like you did! I love that idea! ALL my nape-down hair needs love! That’s a great way to make sure it gets it! I don’t have a wash day. Sometimes I go 9 days, sometimes 5… Loved this vid!
Hey Abbey, thank you for this video. I am someone who has to wash daily, as recommended by my trichologist due to DHT build-up. How often would you recommend this FULL routine, and what products would you recommend on a daily basis? xx
Hi Abbey, I want to say thank you for the quality content you share. Besides all of the info you spoil us with, I really enjoy your personality and humor in your videos too 🤩😍
Omg you have been a great help. My hair is very thin but not oily or dry.I will continue to follow your routine and suggestions to see if my hair improved.Overall I really trust you.
I use the redken acidic bon conditioner for fine hair, because that is the type of hair I have but it just feel like it doesn't coat at all. I have to use a lot to start feeling it smooth. I don't even use the spray part yet.
i never knew about shine masks i'm super excited to try one! and all the pre shampoo tricks too i think will really help my hair out alot! thanks for sharing such great tips
For anyone suffering: Please get tested for food allergies, specifically Celiac disease ♥️♥️ rarely thought of, and invariably the root cause of anxiety depression adult acne fertility issues, KP and horrendous periods and hair loss. I suffered with it for 33 years old until a vet, yes a vet, suggested i get tested and it was positive, even gave my adhd symptoms, didnt sleep well as a baby or a child. Chronic fatigue as an adult. Periods now a dream - not an over exaggeration (3-5 days and painless), adult acne went (cystic acne too) within the first 3 weeks, folliculitis 2 months and KP 2 weeks. Hair thickened within 5 months. Depression went within 3 days. Anxiety i stopped having attacks but full transparency i had to unlearn the habitual response which took a year.
I live in the tropics so have to wash most days (sweat plus oil) have to keep it simple. I use K18 every other wash. My hair loves it. I have a water filter and just use supermarket shampoo and a light leave in. When you are in a hot humid place adding a lot of oils and heavy creams just makes a sticky mess.
I generally wash twice a week, lately it’s been once a week because I work 2 jobs and I get busy 🤣 I usually wash on Friday or Saturday. My routine goes from 4-7 days between washes, depending on the week I’ve had. This past week I washed on Monday, and will Likely wash today (Friday) because it’s the only day I have time Until Monday again and I want to get my weekend routine back on track, and I like to have my natural waves shining for church on Sunday😁

Hi Rachel, what change have you done to your routine that make you go such a long way between your washes? Are you using all the same products?
What shampoo rec did you go with? I’m sooo curious!
Hi, which shampoo do you use that makes go longer inbetween washes?
They all claim to work but would be so helpful for them to be tested
shower filters dont really work, you need a whole filtering system for the apartment. they work differently and actually neutralize the hardness
My scalp and breakage has been an issue for me recently. So I started trying to incorporate your tips and I just got a dry shampoo so hopefully that helps. My scalp is so aggravating that I am on the verge of shaving my head. You give me hope.
Is your scalp itchy, red etc? Have you had a look at Kerastase shampoos for sensitive scalps?
For real if only that would be an easy fix... to shave or not to shave 🤔
Wash as often as you need to. Not everyone can stretch washes. Please consult a dermatologist for your scalp issues.
You can use conditioner instead of oil BEFORE shampooing on your ends. It will protect it from water and the harsher surfactants of shampoo.
I wash my hair once a week on Sunday. It’s a blessing in disguise! It feels like my hair loves me back.
I’ve never had long hair. I’m loyally following your recommendations in the hope that by next year I’ll have an extra 5-6” in length. Thank youuuuuu 🥰
Doesn't their site say to use a leave in conditioner?
My haircare routine is similar too but the key is to have discipline and be consistent to get a thick and full hair besides of inverting on quality items for my hair. It had already brought great results for me.
Thanks for doing a update, your videos definitely help me understand how to care for my hair!
Same here. I wish I could go more than 2 days without a wash!
Ugh!
Your scalp is oily because you wash it too often..
@@shally3468 I have tried skipping to see if the oil production was less but it just got greasier every day.
@@suemazrn that's pretty normal. It takes a few weeks / month to train your scalp
Me too! Adding that "extra" bit of conditioner to my ends before I tie it up in the shower has really helped them!
Haha!! 😆😁
@aimrehembree1022 How were you washing it incorrectly? Calling your hair up on your head? Shampoo on your entire head? Not doing other products in addition to shampoo ? Not doing sections?
How were you washing it incorrectly? Calling your hair up on your head? Shampoo on your entire head? Not doing other products in addition to shampoo ?
It’s such a struggle in my brain about coconut oil 😩 I’m a white/platinum blonde and I’ve heard so many great things ab coconut oil BUT then I’ve had 2 different stylists over the years tell me to stay far away from it bc it doesn’t penetrate the hair and it can cause breakage. I can find the EXACT opposite info online. Ugh. The battle continues 😖 LOVE this updated video though!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Were the stylists telling you that trying to sell you salon product lol? Might have monetary incentive there
@@InimeKai they definitely were not bc they offered nothing.
Amazing as always Abby❤️ You are single-handedly responsible for my hair glow-up! God bless you girl. ❤️💖
Would love a video on shine rinses! I’ve started to see them come up but idk if they are a gloss or deep conditioner or what really
Thank you
I wash every 4-5 days I used to do every 7 but my scalp was getting so irritated! It got better with more frequent washing
I used to know nothing about taking care of my hair. Thank you for the tips and tricks 🤗
Awesome!!! Thanks for the update!! 😍🥰
I do mine on Sunday…..to start off the week with nice looking hair.
I was wondering the same thing.
Yes, just air dry or apply a leave in after five minutes.
I know Abbey has discussed this with K18’s team. She talks about it in a previous video titled Healthy Hair Wash Day routine. If you go to her channel and look at the Hair playlist, it is the first wash day video that occurs after her Olaplex vs K18 showdown.
Your hair is so beautiful, I love watching your channel Abby💕
I hope your hair stays full and healthy!
products mentioned:
- ogx coconut hair oil
- inkey list salicylic acid scalp treatment
- k18 peptide prep detox shampoo/conditioner
- k18 molecular repair treatment
- redkin acidic bonding concentrate
Yes to the hair shine video!!!
I'm so glad you said that you rinsed out the K18 after the four minutes. I just COULDN'T not use conditioner on my hair. Now I'll use the K18, wait 4 minutes, rinse and go with the conditioner. That makes so much sense! Girl, you're good! Great video....again!
Thanks for this update queen ❤️ just saw your last hair care routine yesterday!
I’m a Sunday wash-day girl. I love a Squalane based hair oil. Love the Haielle & The Ordinary’s scalp treatments.
I wash my hair on Monday ! Love your videos dear! Thank you so much
shine hair mask video please!!
Appreciate your honest review on all products. Please keep doing what you do, uTube needs you.❤
My hair is about the same length as yours.
Do you comb the K18 mask . . . through either before or after your 4 minute wait time?
@@summersadie3687 comb it through before the 4 minutes
Thanks Erin. That makes sense, although I find my hair has lots of knots after using a clarifying shampoo and am worried I will break / damage my strands by combing before the k18. Not sure what to do :-(.
@@summersadie3687 I've found it does a decent job with tangles. But I brush my hair before I wash it.
Would love a video on your favorite shine masks!
Yes please I'd really like to listen to you talk about your favourite Shine Masks
Hi Abbey! I was hoping you could share a hair styling video. Like what products you use before blow drying and what not. Thanks!
I love the Olivia brushes! I have one with boar bristles for after shower and one without fir before and during shower cause it's easier to clean
Love love love your hair care videos, Abbey! Please do the shine mask video!❤️❤️🤗🤗
ALSO! Upside down washing over the bath is sooooo much better I feel like i have so much more control
I do believe water makes conditioner work better and distribute better
What does conditioning after deep conditioning do? Don’t they do the same thing? I would think it’s redundant
Saturday is the day for me!
Thanks for another great video! 🥰
A shine mask video would be GREAT! Also, I just LOVE LOVE LOVE your videos. I have learned so much! Thank you!
So.its ok to condition after k18??
I wash every other day. I find my hair will look oily if I don’t and actually prefer to wash daily but to be kind to my hair try to skip a day. Just starting to gather all the products you have suggested! I’m 50 and my hair is just not what it once was. Hoping your tips and tricks help :) love your channel
Love this video so much! Needed this updated video so much! Re wetting post K18, game changer!! Thank you Abbey!
I love that you don’t use heat styling but rather the microfiber towel like me! I’m gonna remember to “split up” my hair when conditioning like you did! I love that idea! ALL my nape-down hair needs love! That’s a great way to make sure it gets it! I don’t have a wash day. Sometimes I go 9 days, sometimes 5…
Loved this vid!
Besides all of the info you spoil us with, I really enjoy your personality and humor in your videos too 🤩😍
K18 says not to rinse it out. Are there two different masks? Sephora only has the leave in one.
Yesss this is what I have been requesting! 😍
Yay! ❤️
