X42 Giant Robo Scoprion
Tingle from the Zelda series. His attack on your rupee supply is deadly.
That "YES IT DIIIIIIIID!!!!!!" at the end gave me chills, 10/10 voice acting
Well. Maybe it was less acting and more real frustration.
I think he was channeling a real life experience there, method acting.
I got real "FusRohDah!" vibes
I got "Kaioken Times 10!!!" vibes.

This happened to me with the final Sekiro boss. After I got close to beating him on my first attempt, he pulled out 3 different attacks on the second attempt that he didn't use before.
Final Boss: "Looks like I'm gonna have to go all out!" *Eviscarates player with moves they've never used before*
Still so funny to me that he pulls out a gun out of nowhere.
@@robbedoes77 sword saint: uses gun
@@plantman1093 I mean, his name clearly is and always has been: Isshin the glock saint
"whats that? you beat him? yeah well now hes back and he has a FUCKING GUN"
I'm waiting for the day when circle toons makes his own game. He has such a distinct style shared between his memes he's already designed like 50 bosses lul
for real.
could be "CircleQuest" or something lol
We are but two sides of the same coin… our PFPs…
The game's name would be: "It all comes full circle"

Eternal Darkness was a game that had 'sanity effects' that made your character hallucinate (amongst lots of other stuff). There was a room where I'd always find a few weirdly weak zombies that went down with a single shot. Then, when I was playing the game for like the eighth time, I reached that room with high sanity and there were no zombies. They were hallucinations. My character was shooting guns at nothing
i wish a game would bring the idea of messing with the player using game mechanics back, i loved playing on low sanity to see whats going to happen next, one of my favorites was when the character started to sink through the floor and walk through objects to make you think the game glitched and the level had loaded improperly or when it fills a room with tons of ammo makng you think its preping you for a boss encounter only to say ha that ammo was fake. also love that particularly evil one where it acts as if the controller was disconnected in a room full of enemies
"Continued in Eternal Darkness 2."
@@brandonwithnell612 Dynamic difficulty in general needs to return. MGSV had the enemies react to your assaults with upgraded armor and such, imagine if games would add more enemies if the player was doing well too.
I remember one game for I think ps3, maybe 2? I don’t remember but it read your game card and basically said what games you were playing recently, freaked me out when I was younger

Brainzor is the only boss in brain quest with attack patterns that differ based on a set numerical value generated at random upon first loading up the game. Make sure to equip the neuron armor from the previous boss Lung-atron in order to gain enough INT points to cast your monoamine shield, which decreases the dopamine stat of Brainzor by a whole 30 points, that's some massive damage right there. Also, Have you been collecting the 700 secret brain trophies scattered across the game? If you get all of them, you unlock a golden thong that grants +1 swagger and makes Brainzor fall in love with you for the secret ending.
I was thinking it was more like this time, the program thought he pirated the game and the boss went into anti-piracy mode.
I love comments like these
Thanks for this thorough explanation! That explains why I could never beat him!
I'm not sure that's a secret ending I want to see.
@ Gr3nadgr3gory
Brainzore can enter all your holes simultaneously.
Are you picturing it?
I had this same dilemma with Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door when I was a kid. I was hit by this stage hazard that, if I recall correctly, apparently has less than 1% chance of happening, where a giant meteor rolled across the stage and killed me during my first fight with Bonetail.
At the time I could find no evidence online to prove it so the one friend I had that played TTYD too believed I had no idea what I was talking about.
TTYD: Halt you're having a bit too much fun!
I’ve been playing Ocarina of Time on and off for years. Just recently I played again, fought Phantom Ganondorf in the Forest Temple and he powered up and lunged at me with a spear attack. I was so caught off guard that it killed me.
Yea it only happens with he's very low health
Suave
I played it not too long ago, and i have no recollection of this attack
@@lankymaccrazyhair264 Same here, played that like a million times, they should check the wiki, probably like a 2% chance of that happening or somethin
@@Applz101 Thats the thing, I checked the wiki and it didn't say anything about that.
Souls games in a nutshell, you've been grinding this boss for hours, you've got perfect gear, the perfect skills, you've mastered the boss' patterns it's practically a rythmn game now, then suddenly whoops let me just pull this never before seen attack that melts you.
And then he never do it again and now you are constantly overthinking when he will do the move again and that slips you up, so now you are dying to the most basic stuff.
And none of your friends have ever witnessed that move and claim you're lying to them.
Margit has a weird attack that he rarely does that makes him swing an extra time than he normally does but it looks like he is giving you an opportunity to attack. I will never not fall for it.
None of my friends believed me when i told them father gascoigne has a rolling kick attack :c
@@o_ver2.094 From soft is trolling you specifically
Holy crap I know EXACTLY how this feels!
People that have played shadow of the colossus don't know that the 13th colossus actually CAN attack in the first place! (Though all really does is just try to divebomb you and roll around in the sand).
IT CAN DO
*W H A T*
I thought it was peaceful!
Without looking it up, it’s that one with air sacs you need to shoot, right?
@@Draconor Yep
@@Mrhellslayerz I’m surprised I knew that considering i haven’t played the game yet (I really should) and it’s been years since I’ve seen a play through of shadows of the colossus. That just shows how memorable that game is.
You see when I use the same moves over and over again it is fine but when the enemy uses a move I haven't seen before that's where I draw the line
Gosh I love it when he uses the line “I don’t know what you mean by game but it’s putting my entire perception of reality into question” lol
They had to proove they had free will by creating a completely unique attack
@@rainnydaay2116 Pfft! Every copy of the game is personalised
He called the bosses perception of reality into question, so the boss did the same to him.
That ending has so much raw energy behind it
When the boss you always beat on first try turns out to have a weird as hell grab attack you've literally never had him do.
Which game?
What game will have this. Unless there the one that had a secret attack.
Can we all just appreciate him making a visually convincing wiki page to help sell the skit/joke? Fantastic creativity and dedication to quality videos 👏
at first i thought you said shit/joke
With how aggressive that last line was, I'm going to assume that this was inspired by an irl experience
Players when the Boss heal themselves once while they’ve been using 17 health potions in the fight
They have a million health and I only have 75 nO iM nOt SaLtY!!!
Tbf, I would be way less mad if I would only need three hits to kill too
@@tyronecrossman5014 so relatable
I'm bitter about this one because I literally just fought a boss that you straight up can't beat if you don't have a character with unhealable debuff.
Yazmat FFXII he literally have 55 million HP at the end of the fight he casts reflect on my party and my healers was casting renew, that heals 100% of the life, he got back from less than 5 million to full, I simply turned of the PS2.
This feeling is like the exact inverse of when the entire Monster Hunter fandom had a collective meltdown over the fact Deviljho has never been legitimately recorded eating his own tail. Reality broke that day.
As someone who used to make wiki articles for a couple of games, talking with others to confirm what I experienced is as frustrating. You don't always have a screenshot or a video to back it up. It makes it sound like you are crazy with what you discover compared to what the others have experienced. What's worse is that they remove that info but when someone else encounters it, they will deny your claim.
Deny your claim? The info can be checked in the page history, how can it be denied?
@@bridgeseller7004 because the system that controls whether it gets denied is controlled by people, and usually very stubborn people at that.
@@DolusVulpes Okay, but just saying "You didn't encounter this /glitch/ before" while you present them revision of the page with same exact info is not being stubborn, it's being stupid.
And it's unlikely that most people who run the wiki are that stupid - wiki staff I know would look at the page and say "Hey, you were right".
OP either provided info in a form that's unverifiable: "Rumors say that Red Giant has a secret attack" or simply wrong.
@Bridge Seller being stubborn and being stupid are often one and the same and usually one is a result of the other.
And I think you overestimate the average intelligence and level of manners of an average person running a wiki on the internet.
Also, it might be partially incorrect to call them wiki "staff", since most of them are doing it for free in only an unofficial capacity and as such don't really face any consequences for not including or falsifying info on the wiki.
@@DolusVulpes Ah, there might've been a slight misunderstanding due to the lack of info about the situation.
I assumed it was a serious discussion, not just some reverts and arguing in the edit summary. So usually when there are conflicts like this, staff gets involved (real staff, I'm not talking about regular people who edit wikis), either because they have more knowledge in that specific area or just to say the last word.
So when the glitch is finally recorded by another person and OP comes shouting "I did it first" (btw why? Do they feel a need to be marked in the history? It's a wiki, not a social network), that same staff member can change their view of the situation.
If it's just a random editor, I don't even know how any of those discussions would go.
This is exactly what it feels like. You think you know everything about a boss and suddenly it's just "WAIT WHAT IS HE DOIND WHAT IS HE-"
The thing about wikis is that they have to updated. So if there's a super secret attack that almost never happens and the people who update the wiki aren't really dedicated, then it's entirely possible that the wiki is wrong. I see that a lot on smaller indie or even self published games where the player base is like a dozen people.
brings back dark souls 2 unpatched memories, the sheer jank and randomness still awes me and brings me back
my god i remember so many weird janky moments from that.. literally had a boss repeatedly animation-cancel into looping attacks at one point..
Unlatched dark souls 2 is possibly the absolute worse intro to the souls series, or at least I think so, I played it for my first souls game, completely soured my experience on the entire franchise, didn't help that I made a stupid glass Canon build and didn't understand invincible frames, and never used humanity........now that I think about it, I unreasonably made the game heard for myself for a blind playthrough without knowing
@@wackypenguin94 honestly the game never explaining what adaptability does really sucks even more so since rolling has be solved since dark souls 1 but they changed anyway and for the worse
@@Tech-wg6ef THAT'S WHAT IT WAS, I FORGOT ADAPTABILITY WAS A THING FOR MORE INVINCIBILITY FRAMES, IT MADE IT SOOOO MUCH WORSE!!!
As a side thought, how dope would it be if there was a secret attack that the player could do during the final boss fight that only becomes available after beating the game a certain number of times where the player character breaks the fourth wall, causing the final boss to have a mental breakdown as their perception of reality crumbles around them.
man set up a fandom page just for a few seconds of content, mad respect.
Wonder if there’s any way to get a link to the page. He also said that he was working on a big project he couldn’t disclose.
@@barrettross3772 he might have just edited the page then canceled the changes, but the "big project" might be an actual rpg?
@@BatzelChaos That’s possible, I did try to search for the wiki page, but there were way too many results to sort through.
*Boss uses special attack*
"Garrgh damn... Well at least that move must have some great cost it's not like he gonna cast it again soon..."
*Boss somehow heard that and starts aggressively spamming special attack*
turn baased games love that, played a game where a boss uses its skills at random against a random target of your team and it just happened to attack the one teamate weak to a certain attack multiple times in a row as if it was planned even though its never happened to me before against that particular boss
Me fighting Godrick in Elden Ring: "I think I've gotten a hang of his storm stance, shouldn't have much issue with it now"
Godrick, getting ready to do it three times as often that attempt: "are you sure about that"
Shout out to Sundowner from MGRR and his "grab a giant pole to hit you with" attack that many people didnt even knew existed because the bossfight usually ends before he has a chance to use it.
Wait, he does *what?*
The whole conversation is very relatable when you see something your friends don't believe
This is why I eventually grew to love the share button on PS4 controllers. The whole constantly recording your gameplay thing is perfect when that once in a lifetime thing happens and you already have video proof. You just need to save it before its gone forever.
Learned "Pale Horse" as an event skill while fighting sephiroth for the first time... it's not listed as a learnable enemy skill so no one believed me when I said I thought I'd lost the fought, used Pale Horse for the lulls and it was the killing blow

Why do all of circles game characters have a little existential crisis whenever he brings up that they're in a game

Reminds me of the binding of Isaac repentance where the boss singe has the one specific fire fart move that I see in like one in 30 runs and it always catches me off guard when it happens
Video Idea: When you're playing a game and you have the consult the wiki for literally everything
Man, I felt the ANGER behind that "YES, HE DID!!!" line. XD
Reminds me of one of the souls games or bloodborne when it first came out. There was a memory leak or something and so if you played for too long bosses would just stop using some of their moves because they couldn't load them properly.
The guys going all in on release were having a way easier time than the people taking it slow.
You see, clearly you did a side quest you don't normally do before this boss fight, or picked up a unique item you don't normally have, so this is actually Brainzoid EX, which has more HP and a different moveset. Didn't you notice the hue of purple on him was different?
what a frippin' n00b, that he did not pick up on that, amiright?
Also I am jealous that he had a friend he could call. I am lonely :(
It's because you called him out on being a video game character. You gave him a glimpse beyond the confines of his world and he broke his shackles.
I always hated it when bosses would only start using never seen moves when they're like 1 hit from being dead
That scream at the end just emits the same level of raw power comparable to "If she breaths, she's A THOOOOOT!!!".
Happened to my friend in MHRise, with the Rakna Kadaki. He had maxed out high-rank armor (before the Sunbreak DLC came out, no G rank armor), was at near full health, and the Ranka was walking out of the area. He wanted to get another hit in, got too close, and the walking killed him, it wasn't even a proper attack.
Ranka: Oh, you are approaching me?
Green Mage's final battle from Everhood. Dude pulls out a lightning attack that no other character ever uses before and after the fight.

I love these animations
It's always going to be a good day whenever CircleToons uploads a video!
When your friends and the wiki start gaslighting you
Nowadays you can never be certain that the game didn't receive a patch set updated the bosses attack patterns or something like that
This truly depicts the emotional level of being gaslit 😅
Poor boss man’s perception of reality got boomed
This was me just recently with Radagon from Elden Ring. I swear he learned a new move during a hiatus I took where he slams the hammer down with both hands and creates a shockwave that spreads out before it explodes.
Dark Vipers' "Millions to one!" or "cougars don't spawn in missions"
Me when I play Elden Ring.
Playing bosses on a harder difficulty be like:
When I was growing up, in the era of "there isn't anything useful on the internet," I was a big fan of Civ 2. One day while playing one of the NPC empires, Carthage, who were my allies suffered a rebellion that split them into two nations, Carthage and Egypt. My ally nation which used to be a powerhouse and bros-for-life with me crumbled and became a backwater, single city empire doomed to obscurity. Egypt however turned their wrath on me and the rest of the game was a brawl with them.
None of my friends believed me because they hadn't seen a rebellion split an empire, and I'd never seen it happen before or since. I started to doubt whether I'd actually seen it happen myself until 15 years later when the internet was better and I read about it as a rare occurrence in the wiki.
Same when you defeat a boss, then later look up gameplay footage, and in all of them, the boss uses an attack that never happened to you.
Before anyone says this never happens.
I fought Jetstream Sam like 50 times without knowing he just straight-up kicks you in phase 1.
Brazilians can double-jump
I hate how accurate this is....i feel so attacked! XD
My personal favorite attack is in Hollow Knight the final boss will occasionally just jump at you. No dive, no sword thrust, no projectiles, just a normal jump. It's pretty rare and it WILL throw you off, simply because you never expect it.
Had this happen recently. This mmo dungeon boss that usually dies in like 15 seconds and nothing special, but this time he lived for more than 20 seconds and he turned into a tree.
Exdeath unrestricted on FFXIV?
“It put my whole perception of life into chapati” 😂😂😂😂😂
Plot twist: he hacked the game to get all the weapons and the game itself punished him with humiliation.
I don't have this specifically happen, but I see similar things when the boss suddenly reveals that the 3 hit combo has a 2 hit insta-cancel version
I like the idea of the developers making it so there's a different move in one copy of the game and laughing when the person speaks about it
does this happen?
This is the equivalent of a medieval knight pulling out a glock 😂

The final boss sounds like an Indian scammer for some reason and I love it.
I love when a game boss uses a diffrent attacks while you already learned his moveset
Ive never had this happen to me in an actual boss fight but ive had this happen in rpgs where a boss had a spell or a attack I didnt know they had, like a random gym pokemon with protect and water pulse all of a sudden pulling out a hurricane
“And the brain toss”
“Well I guess it never happened “
😂
Yeah that’s elden ring bosses in a nutshell

I feel that there is some deep emotional trauma at play here. This is clearly to close to reality. I mean just listen to that scream of utter despair at the end. No actor could perform such a pure key-board/controller smashing scream without having some real PTSD kick in.
In the game Strike Gunner(STG) for the SNES, the entire final level was basically that scene from Return of the Jedi where the Millennium Falcon is flying through the partially completed Death Star to attack its core. Playing that at 10 years old was the best.
" what when can he suddenly do that".
I felt that line hard.... Too hard...

He’s been playin the boss fight too much he’s having hallucinations.
Never stop making videos, these are too good XD
Astel, Stars of Darkness: "This is such a relatable video. 10/10"
It's even worse when the thing that happened is clearly a bug, and you can tell it was a bug, so you're admitting it was a bug, not claiming it's supposed to happen, and people still won't believe you.
When a game has actual NG+ changes
Next stage: boss glitches out creating a new move by accident that is OP
I love how Circle Toons went through the effort to make a wiki page for Brainzor
I realise pizza tower is a recent game, but theres still nothing on it’s wiki regarding snick’s cameo appearances (snick is a parody of sonic originating from pizza tower’s 2019 SAGE demo, where snick is a side character who becomes playable after beating all four levels. After that demo, snick makes cameos in future demos and the full game, but has not been playable since)
*AW YEAH, ITS BIG BRAIN TIME*
Imagine a game dev makes the final boss have progressively more attacks as the more times you beat him

Respect to corcletoonshd because he made a wiki page for this
Literally had this happen in multiple games even had one i complained about on the forums of said game. The entire thread was people saying i was nuts. TWO YEARS LATER videos started popping up on youtube, and people were claiming it was a 'standard' attack the boss 'always does'.
