@@someguy9496 Seath is a scripted event the first time. It's literally impossible to beat the game without dying to him. That's why his first encounter isn't a boss
I remember this one game where 90% of the bosses had, like, 10 individual health bars, and a good 80% had some sort of mechanic that made them invulnerable at all the moments when there was a little breathing room, and then use some sort of mechanic that would take quite a few replays to eventually learn. It was fun but immensely aggravating

Its also pretty funny when you have enough damage to one shot the boss but it still goes invincible at certain hp percentages instead of just dying

Also I only remember there being one unbeatable boss right near the beginning but I think it's kinda clear you're out matched unless you grind like crazy and come prepared with items.

I'm playing FF7 Crisis Core and just had to deal with this EXACT kinda thing.
Except these enemies became invincible for not only like 30 seconds, but there was nothing I could do so I just had to run in circles till they stopped.

I kinda love doing this. Adds a bit of challenge to the fight in trying not to get booped out of the arena
I LOOOOOOVE the fanatic fight, especially when he does his bullshit tractor beam that only can be stopped 20% of the time, on the nightfall, where his immediate melee afterwards one hit kills you? It’s the BEST SUCH AN ENGAGING BOSS MECHANIC, I got mindbenders so I’m never touching that shit again.

Except you gotta wait for them to show a weakpoint, while cronies come in constantly and their invincibility is a constant otherwise. At least a thousand times worse.
It sucks because apparently their steel fuckin plate armor can fully resist the full anal annihilation of the bastardchild between a railgun and a plasma cannon.
