    Have had a Creme RC on my mixbus for several months now. The Low and High 'shelfs' are indeed subtle as someone has already mentioned. The HF one is incredibly subtle, and you sure need to have high frequnecies in the source material for it to do it's thing (obviously, it's not an enhancer!). I find the LF boost much more useful and it's a great effect. Thanks for confirming in your review that when the EQ/Compressor button is lit, the compressor comes first - the manual does not clarify the status of that button at all which is irritating!

    • @barnabythwaites5277
      @barnabythwaites5277 2 роки тому

      @M Castile Great to have that comment from you re the HF! I was wondering that too. I actually sent my Creme RC to Tegeler in Berlin to have it checked - they found no fault with it. I also corresponded with the authors of the Sound On Sound reviews (Bob Thomas and Matt Houghton) and Bob has the unit across his mix bus as well. To leave it there shaows he finds it useful! He made the point that if you have the compressor AFTER the EQ then the HF boost may be even harder to discern. In some on-line reviews (not yours!) I think people are hearing things entirely due to expectation bias, and often pristine monitoring envoronments are required to discern stuff. All best!

    When you compare this to the cost of a Pultec and the SSL bus compressor it's a no brainer, it sounds at least as good but costs so much less and it a well built unit. I really want one of these and the Schwerkraftmaschine that can replace most compressors you own in one box, and has the motorized pots as well. I'd love to see you review the Schwerkraftmaschine, I think you would want to keep that one two but it's a little more money.

  • @ArguZ72
    @ArguZ72 3 роки тому

    So now the question is, does the plugin have a Dual Mono mode button (like the new Schwerkraftmaschine one ) ?
    This also being a stereo unit still has two sides with identical sets of processing hardware.
    Both are probably driven by the MCU-DAC-VCA/Pot so one could (maybe) splitt the controls and send different amounts to the left and right side which would enable one to use it as a Mid side mastering unit with an external M/S matrix like the Konnektor .

Can I simply switch this out for an amaerican power cord? It also came over with different fuses by default. Which fuse should I buy so it work? I've already switched the voltage to 115v, but I am afraid to try and power it on without the first two questions answered. Can someone PLEASE HELP!!!

      @@Whiteseastudio I personally like that you sound "real" and not like a politician, TV presenter etc... Use the money you save from not buying an autocue and and buy another couple of kilos of your favorite coffee ;-) Thanks for all you do. Peace. Cheers.

      @@simontassano5992 yes, i say you can better learn out of your head, because you need to learn a autocue how to read of it. that cost lot of time. he can better take a day off, en in the morning learning the text or better make no text, and then talking, but so mutch that one take sound good
