Under Drive Pullies For Your 5.0L Ford

Under drive pullies are an excellent way to gain back some horse power from your belt driven accessories. I'll start with the CONS, if you have a lot of things that take a lot of power(heater/AC fan headlights, Amp, air compressor)then you can only run one thing at a time to keep the alternator charging at idle, while you're driving the alternator will charge like normal. PROS, gains back 12-17 hp. from the accessory drive and puts it to the wheels.

You can get the higher output alternator on to crank out more juice with the stock pulley

Great content brother just built a 357w zf5 setup for my f250 highboy. Being trying to figure out why the numbers I get for my for serpentine belt wasn't working. Guy I bought the parts engine from had it setup for mustang bought it from a friend of his after watching your video. I measured pullies and come to conclusion they are some brand of underdrive pulley along with smog pump delete should run ok
