I'm new to all of this, but very analytical by nature. I bought 2 sets of very small microfiber cloths, and use one to rinse as you say here, and then a second one soaked with a bottled mineral water (like Evian) imagining that it is better than our city water where I live.
I also saw a post about someone using "scrunchies", headbands, or cut off socks on their forearms to keep the water from dripping down their arms. 😀

      Hey! :)
Do you like your microfiber cloths?
I usually use common headbands to hold my hair back. However, now that my hair is a bit longer, I enjoy using bobby pins😉 As for the water, my T-shirt or bathrobe soaks it up😉 I also have a towel on the floor because the water splashes everywhere (because of the way I sit. I sit on my knees for those demonstrations)😊

Thank you, Melissa. If a person has rosacea, I'm not sure if they should use a washcloth. I think it might inflame and irritate the face.
PS - I appreciate your lowkey, adult approach to your videos. You have a very professional, no-nonsense demeanor that is also friendly. Thank you.

Yes, depending on the washcloth you are using. But have you tried the clothes I showed you in the video? They are very soft, and you can also decide how much pressure you put on them, so it is really worth a try.
      And thank you. 😃

As Melissa said, you certainly can use a soft flannel or washcloth if you have rosacea....my skin is very dry and sensitive (red) specially during the winter months ... I just wouldn't rub to much but it works...Also, using a soft micellar water is very helpful to reduce irritation...in my personal experience....
      Good luck!!

I haven't tried Gua Sha or face rollers. As of now, it's also not in my interest to try it. I would just use it with hydrating water-based products. I wouldn't use it with treatments or oils as I believe this can worsen the skin's condition. Let's say you have acne-prone skin and use an oil to do Gua Sha; most often, this will worsen acne.

I think it depends. In the shower, I never use a washcloth, but when cleaning my face over the sink, I do. However, it also depends on what you're trying to remove. If you don't wear any makeup, sunscreen, or skincare products, using just your hands will be more than enough. Just test it out and see how it goes. But remember, it's important to use a clean washcloth daily.

I use micellar water with a microfibre Reusable makeup remover pad which is not as soft as a facial pad should be tbh, and then use my hands to double cleanse with regular cleanser. Just started it few days ago, I'd say I liked my oil or balm cleansers better as step one cleansing but currently I'm having fungal acne so switched to this method. To remove the grims I really have to scrub my face hard with the pad which fears me of damaging my skin. Sunscreen gets removed though.

Those, people say are very soft on skin, at least the brand I ordered.
