Unfortunately didn't come across your video early enough. I like your bonus tip. If I had known earlier I wouldn't need to drink so much coffee and chocolate milk. Thank you again.
Really nicely presented video! I would have loved to hear a little bit more about step 2 really - how you start pushing that art on the surface, my milk quite often sinks or doesn't form a discernible shape even when i pour from a low height. Also if anyone else is reading this and don't always have chocolate - cinnamon powder makes for a good handy substitute to practice.
This popped into my feed after i poured my upteenth cup where my art was chunky, especially the last line. I realized i was doing the final pour too close to the cup. Also I think I'm pouring too slow and starting the art too late. Amazing advice! I also need to get me some cocoa and a shaker to do some practice! So cool!
very nice tips - especially the one minimizing waste of coffee. I don't generally have problems pouring rosettas, but I found this video really helpful
Great video! I either get milk that just sinks below or a thick blob that doesn’t flow backwards at all - just sits there. So I’m thinking after watching this that I’m struggling with consistent texture and also maybe speed. Trying to change multiple variables at once is hard though to figure out which one is the main problem.
Thank you so much! I finally know what I did wrong!!! I have kept trying but didn't know what went wrong. I poured too slow, hence no froth to draw latte art. This information is very clear and you delivered it very efficiently! Thank you so much!!!!
Great tips, thanks for the video. I have also heard that a way to practice is to use water with one drop of washing up liquid. It steams up a bit like milk and you can practice over and over. I've tried it myself and it's not a bad way to practice if it's the art and not the frothing that you need work on.

Great! 'keep practicing' if it's too thin, I'm glad I watched the video for this advise
Hey thanks Paul, you've just explained how to froth milk correctly, so simply and it all makes perfect sense "why couldn't I see that"!!! I've been making espresso flat whites & cappuccinos (at home) now for about 5 years and have always wondered how they do it so much tastier in the cafe with exactly the same coffee beans. But it does take practice, thanks for the tips on how to blend the coffee and how to prepare the milk for latte art.
Great value in the video. Texture is the first thing to focus on. You can practice steaming with a jug of water and a droplet of dish soap. Anyway keep on making those coffee videos!
First I went like : "Nope. My kind of fail doesn't figure in this list" because my milk doesn't even lay on the crema Then I saw 3 types of my fails and I was like soooo happyyy like "ohhh yesssssss" 😂😂😂

What I learned was to take the milk wand out as soon as the pitcher is too hot to put your palm against. And make sure to tap the bottom of the pitcher on a flat surface to get rid of air bubbles
