Engine Run Stand-First Test-SBC 327

This homemade engine run stand was recently purchased by Steele's Classic Cars and I was tasked with getting it setup to test a Chevy 327 that was purchased about 15 years prior. The engine was stored with fogging oil in the cylinders so we felt this engine should be ready to fire up without much work. After several hours of fighting a bad starter, leaking water pump and a carb that wouldn't allow gas into the float bowl, we finally got it to fire up in short runs. Still need to do quite a bit of work to the run stand but we are very happy to have it for future testing.
