- We're working on two cars today... the 1934 Dodge and the 1959 Volvo. Remember how we discovered that the clutch was stuck in the Dodge? Well today Nathan is ready to tackle the issue... he's hoping he'll get it unstuck by driving it around the yard but if it doesn't, we'll have to pull the engine out to fix it. While he was driving it around, he discovered another issue that needs to be dealt with. The piece of new metal up at the top of the quarter panel where the back side window would have been blended in way better than I was picturing. Looks like it’s been that way since day one now!👍

Super Nate solved the stuck clutch issue. Great job on the clutch pedal stop design. Wow the fender skirts really look amazing on the Volvo 544 Roadster
One of the holes you see on the back should be for the wires to the tail light
and not for rear fender mounting.
Yup the skirt's made it look totally different. Lower it some with some white wall tires up front
Copper lines is not good for trans line or brakes cooper when it gets hot well expand a cause a pressure loss which is hard on the pump. An can cause trans an brake failure
I would love to have a chance to make that clutch linkage over under the dash. I’ve been out of the loop for a few years but I still remember some Of the unwritten rules that I learned the hard way. They’re the ones that stick in your mind for the next job! Ha ha!
The Volvo is looking great. Love the curves and the fender skirt really adds to the overall look. I actually like how high the trunk lid is. I think it adds to the look of the car as opposed to taking away.

I’m sure you all remembered to put a jam nut on that clutch linkage stop. If not, you could squirt weatherstrip glue on it after it’s where you want it.
I like the skirts on the Balvo Walvo. That is one bad azz lookin dodge, smooth runner too.

A fairly easy day in the shop today just trying to shuffle things around to make the easier to work on. If i had to work on the clutch I would just use the lift and drop the transmission.

Hey Chad, Jolene, Nate, & Fina it's Friday! Chad the car is looking good so many people start judging your work to soon and with the back end jacked up. Even I thought the trunk was going to be to high because I did not think about the fact that the car was jacked up quite a ways. Nate nice work on the clutch you are so inventive just like Chad! Jolene great video as always you do such a good job with the camera. Fina is staying close to you guys right now she is taking no chances on you leaving without her!

You have to still pull fillplug if you put to much gear lube in the trans you are building up crank case pressure in the trans. It can cost you. Soul lug an fill to the bottom of plug threads

OK The bottom portion of that of those two top pieces would not have worked over in the other room, but the top piece was almost a straight line, and therefore could have been bent elsewhere

I had a Farm Tractor that the clutch would stick A farm mechanic suggested to Cut a 2x4 to partially depress clutch pedal Suffered through Stuck clutch for several years After the 2x4 Prop board Never had a Problem

This car and nate reminds me of a three stooges episode when the stooges were sent to a mansion posing as plumbers to fix a leak. Nate being shemp, piped himself in a bathtub cage and still had a leak yelling for moe for help. In this case it was 'chad , chad help me im lookin foolish again 😅😅😅😅😅
