I recently watched Theory-Y's new kritzkrieg guide UA-cam video, and I must say that I was disappointed. The video is supposed to be a comprehensive resource for players who want to learn how to use the kritzkrieg effectively, but it falls short in several key areas. First and foremost, the video lacks clear organization. Theory-Y jumps around from topic to topic without any clear structure, making it difficult to follow. This is a major issue, as it makes it difficult for viewers to find the information they need quickly and easily. Additionally, the video is filled with errors and inconsistencies. Theory-Y seems to have rushed through the recording process, as there are numerous mistakes and factual inaccuracies throughout the video. This is unacceptable for a resource of this nature, and it undermines the credibility of the video as a whole. Furthermore, Theory-Y's presentation style is dull and unengaging. He fails to provide any real insight or analysis, and instead just regurgitates information that is already widely available elsewhere. This makes the video tedious to watch, and it doesn't add anything new or interesting to the conversation. Overall, I cannot recommend Theory-Y's new kritzkrieg guide UA-cam video. It is poorly organized, filled with errors, and lacks any real value for viewers. There are much better resources available for players who want to learn how to use the kritzkrieg effectively.

My old medic friend always told "The kritzkrieg reduces your luck by -5", i also love that whenever you kritzkrieg someone unexpectedly you can read "KILL" in their mind just by their body language
"Healing a damaged player doubles your passive regen" It does WHAT?! 5.4k hours in this game, and I never knew this. Didn't see it on the wiki, nobody ever told me until now. But sure enough, there it is; the final sentence of the 4th paragraph of the Medic's wiki page: "Healing injured teammates will double the current rate of health regeneration."

Even better if they pop while I'm loading the first pipe to a completely empty launcher with an also completely empty sticky launcher, bottle is quite fun
And Theory-Y wept, for he had lost his Ubercharge. He had carried it with him for many days, but in the heat of battle, it slipped from his grasp and was lost forever. He cried out to the heavens, asking why this had happened to him. But there was no answer, only the sound of his own sorrow. For Theory-Y knew that without his Ubercharge, he was powerless. He would no longer be able to unleash its devastating power upon his enemies, and they would surely triumph over him. He fell to his knees, consumed by grief and regret. And he vowed that he would never forget the lesson of this tragic loss. But even as he wept, the darkness closed in around him, and Theory-Y was lost to the world.
Never underestimate the power of a Dragon's Fury kritz. You basically turn the pyro's semi-beefed shots into doing the DF's full damage, and turn full damage shots into a machinegun that does 300 damage every hit. Not to mention the extended range the DF has over other flamethrowers. Seriously slept on kritz target.
There's nothing worse than being in my first game or two of the day, still warming up my aim and getting into the groove when unexpectedly I hear that unforgettable sound, my launcher starts glowing and I can't land even 50 dmg on the enemy team that is grouped up right in front of me. We were ready for a FAT push with the kritz, but I had major performance anxiety and missed all my shots. Now our Medic won't even look at me, I'm relegated to standing by the dispenser and hunting down health packs because I lost their trust, I lost their precious heals. And I certainly lost any chance at getting another Kritz pop!
@@betagamp I had to remind a heavy the other day to grab ammo before pushing into last in 5cp. Luckily he was over VC because as soon as I hit 100% charge (stock) he was still pushing forward and about to round a corner with 40 bullets left...

Very excited to watch this new video! I'm glad your medic guides break the class and strategy down to easily digestible yet important components; I'll certainly be taking notes for the next time I pick medic in a pub!
Im gonna internalize the playstyle you said to use with the kritzkrieg. All that about needing to be aggressive and build uber as fast as possible. Never be on the back foot, being relentless. Its a playstyle I really wanna try out.
I've been doing that with Uber, and it pays off a ton. One thing I know about TF2 is that many players, especially midwit and even some great players fold instantly when they see more than 3 players rounding a corner
In order to give yourself an idea of how safe it is to run the kritzkrieg, I believe you could disguise as the other team's Medic and see their secondaries during setup time, you could also ask a friendly Spy to tell you trough text or voice, but that I believe would be rarer. This check would also apply to other classes' items like the battalion's backup with Soldier and such. Great video, by the way.
Was just watching the Vaccinator guide, 10/10 content Also I always felt the Kritzkrieg is great on defense since fragging the enemy team wastes more time for them.
my general strat if i wanna use kritz is always to keep my first pop as stock uber that means you can delay or counter uber and typically break through the hardest part of a match and then have those offensive moments afterward plus it helps you determine what medigun the other medic is running (if there is one) and can help you choose if you want to use it.
A tip: you can run kritz on defense to set up kritz stickies then go back to spawn, switch to spy to check the enemy medics medigun and then go back to stock and still have time to build an uber before the start
I've been learning to use Kritz more on offense. Ive been trying to get a medium-long range class on a flank to carve a bloody path out for our team to clear out a now unprotected sentry nest, rather than using stock to walk into a sentry and having to deal with Pyros and Wranglers tanking the sentry from our damage.
6:11 i remember 1 time in egipt on defense in set up i ubered a soldier with the kritz, it took 1 shot from his rocket to kill 4 players. And that moment made me fall in love with that weapon
in my opinion I feel that all the mediguns have defensive capabilities. with the vaccinator, quick fix, and stock, they all provide some way to keep you safe, like damage resistance, faster healing, and invincibility. while most people see the kritzkrieg as pure offense, I feel it is both, as it provides an 100% chance to get crits, while it is also defensive because of it's ability to kill enemies before they even have a chance to hit you. Hey Theory-Y, you probably don't remember me, but I used to go on your streams, and I started talking about losing interest in medic, but you are one of the main reasons I got back to playing medic.
me, right after starting this video: this video is too long! might not finish it me, a while later: it's already finished?? great and engaging video. kudos!
Damn, imagine the pre-rework Vitasaw with the Kritz, 20% charge recursion regardless of situation or context so long as you have 20% or more charge, on a Medigun with no defensive utility that can and will still allow you to die to Headshots, Backstabs, Random Crits, etc., even when you are actively utilizing your Uber, would be incredibly helpful for the gameplay loop. You shouldn't be dying often as Medic, but with Kritz death feels almost unavoidable in some cases, which means have any kind of recursion would be a massive boon. Too bad it got reworked so you have to be actively putting yourself in harmful situations while having 10 less health at all times to gain that recursion. What a backwards design choice.
If I may say (about the channel in general rather than this video in particular) - you're one of the more skillful TF2 youtubers I've seen. Like generally impressive level of multitasking and game-sense. Kinda exhausting to even watch.
So every med gun has its own strengths and weaknesses with potential counters that need to be played around. Vac is vulnerable to coordinated from multiple enemies but they have to be different damage types, melee damage especially if it can crit, backstab, crit fire, and air blast could be used to stop explosive and close ranged damage for the vac pocket. Every uber needs to be used aggressively to guarantee one of those counters otherwise the sheer amount of Uber uptime and ability to crossbow while ubering will just win eventually. Even krits uber can be used for melee damage on anyone when a friendly pyro isn’t around. Quickfix is countered by a whole lot of things but does have its uses. It’s vulnerable to coordinated high dps from multiple sources, crits of any kind, backstab, and being shut down by another uber. Though it is effectively immortal to everything but backstabs when combined with a battalions backup, and the knock back immunity can really help close distances especially with the ability to follow charges and rocket jumps. Stock has the lowest Uber uptime of all the med guns and air blast can prevent explosive and close ranged damage from it. Krits was already covered entirely in the video but battalions backup can shut this uber down entirely, additionally it doesn’t really help enter a sniper sight line at all. Looking over them all battalions back up can be used to shut down every uber in the games it’s actually insane
Also worth mentioning even f2p 10 hours players can be good if you have charge and just waiting 5 seconds for more competent teammate to arrive Because at the end of the day you are squishy and can easily die and JohnXtreme2011 and Pablo Gonzales 2014 might not know what to do, but if they are already shooting at someone they will win usually, kill better players who usually underestimate them for an easy kill The trick is using it when they are engaged so they don't have time to panic or stop to think in what to do
i just thought of something what if you kritzed an airstrike soldier? if they have 4+ kills they have 8 rockets to shoot, making them almost as good as demo (in theory)
@@shinobuoshino5066 that’s usually done in between waves, I’m talking about during, but yes, if you have a demoman laying a trap Krit their stickies if you have time
"a healthy patient is always better than dead one" is he still if saving the uber would have wiped 2/4 the enemy team and a sentry and secured the next ooint? sounds more worth since you likely got still atleast half of your team to work whit and an other time would maybe greatly delay a next succesfull push if you even got time for that looking at the fact how well the enemy defended you so faar.
W vid I love the Kritzgreig but I refuse to run it under normal circumstances But if there isn’t a sniper on the enemy team you know I’m searching for a fat bomb like a crack addict for their next fix
i remember once making the fattest of plays on an uncletopia server with a demoman on dustbowl. All crits are fair but some are more balanced than others.
I object to only one point made, kritzing a spy CAN be effective, a gun spy specifically. Had a game playing medic normally on Upward, but kritzed our spy whenever I had charge. Twelve-ish 120 shots with pretty good long-mid range accuracy can be *brutal* if you and your spy know what you're doing. After a couple pops, each time resulting in 2-3 kills one of which being the med, the enemy team started getting demoralized in chat that they were losing to a freakin' kritz gun spy. If nothing else, kritzing the spy does significant emotional damage to a enemy team with low morale.
I'm in between the two crowds. On one hand, it doesn't piss off the Sniper and Scout mains like the Vaccinator does. On the other hand, the Vaccinator has a fast and powerful, hit-or-miss Ubers like the Kritzkrieg does.
@@vyor8837 Mate, you should've seen the Vaccinator when it first came out. If it kept even one of the old quirks it had, I would've agreed it's overpowered.
I love the Kritzkrieg but why do I love it? well for It makes "me" feel more free with the choices it grants, is nice to be able to have better odds popping on less confident players who is in the right place and time for it requires less to kill enemy gamers and with uber I have to find a more hammered out player to make good use of it, I like the mind set the it causes to the players in the match for it makes my team more aggressive and there team more passive allowing us to more easily take ground, dieing or bad pops is less punishing for it charges faster. I use krits 90% of the time and the times I go for uber is if my team i struggling to hard with sentrys or choke-points "looking at you dustbowl". unless your talking about comp if so then less players, more competent team work which just makes its safer but you know that. Typing and thinking about it the Kritzkrieg is just a great casual server weapon. Feel free to add to it or shit on me as you see fit constructive criticism is always nice.
I only use Kritz when there’s that one player on my team I know can make it fat, or if I’m playing in a duo. If my entire team is garbage I’ll run quickfix If I can trust some or all of my team I’ll run stock

AYYY
5:24 But I wanne seeeeeeeee :( I know i shouldnt peek but seeing those fat red numbers pop up is what makes medic feel good.
You make great videos homie
*Tries Kritz, explodes *
Alright, keep your secrets.
W vid
I love the Kritzgreig but I refuse to run it under normal circumstances
But if there isn’t a sniper on the enemy team you know I’m searching for a fat bomb like a crack addict for their next fix
I cant help but notice that in the first clip they are playing on a de-halloween-ified Brimstone...
Fuck dude those crossbow shots to the other medic were so good 0:56
Bonesaw guide when?
Please Theory tell me how to effectively use the vita saw.
i remember once making the fattest of plays on an uncletopia server with a demoman on dustbowl. All crits are fair but some are more balanced than others.
If I could change one thing about kritz, I would give the med 50% damage resistance during uber
Lesson of the Video: Make it Fat Responsibly and with moderation
heya, what hud do you use? I really like the health numbers on the top of your teammates and its way easier to read than my current hud.
ToonHUD
I really wish strange kritzkriegs weren't so expensive
I think it's easier for a lot of casual players to get kills when kritzed than when ubered.
I'm in between the two crowds.
On one hand, it doesn't piss off the Sniper and Scout mains like the Vaccinator does.
On the other hand, the Vaccinator has a fast and powerful, hit-or-miss Ubers like the Kritzkrieg does.
On the third hand, the vaccinator is overpowered
@@vyor8837 Mate, you should've seen the Vaccinator when it first came out. If it kept even one of the old quirks it had, I would've agreed it's overpowered.
@@RdTrler like being able to have 2 bubbles, charging when ubered, capturing while ubered, and nullifying 75% of damage?
Hello, great video, what config do you use for those graphics
Yes YES YES!!
11:00 can we talk about the fact that the other medic trusted your aim so much that he kritzed you with multipls Heavys *right there*?
Ashville gameplay 💯😤
Wait till a three man medic team coordinates a stock uber+ crit uber on a competent heal target, then no one is safe
Incredibly zased bpm ost
I subscribed and hit that bell ngl 🥶
What mod are you using that shows EVERY stat the weapon offers?
It's probably a HUD
Hype
Feel free to add to it or shit on me as you see fit constructive criticism is always nice.
oooof making me wanna relapse im 2 months clean 🥵
I LOVE THE KRITZKRIEG GRAAAAAH
i like to use kritz on a stock uber medic's patient, cause then crits + invuln = super uber
I only use Kritz when there’s that one player on my team I know can make it fat, or if I’m playing in a duo.
If my entire team is garbage I’ll run quickfix
If I can trust some or all of my team I’ll run stock
The worst thing about kritz:... The strange price 😔
indeed
who's that voidcat guy? he's super cracked and handsome tbh....
i am sorry if i missed the announcement, but what happened to huntsman guide video?
do you still have a discord server? I heard you mention it in an older video but can't find a join link anywhere.
