I think if the Gas passer gets the Recharge of 60 seconds and 750 damage lowered to 45 seconds and 450 damage, that makes it more reliable. I think that also adding in a "firing mode" between the Gasoline Cloud and a Gasoline Bomb(50 damage, grenade AOE, no damage falloff and Gasone Afterburn, is improved by the MVM upgrade) by pressing R when Gas Passer is active could also help this weapon a lot. Plus the mechanics of it, aka "wait X amount of seconds or do Y amounts of damage to recharge this item" can be perfect for other new items or it would have been perfect on the Grenades, mines and other items we could have gotten for the grenade slot from the beta. Speaking of more reliable items, making the SOAS and SVf more reliable would be great. SOAS as another Scout melee that does ranged attacks on alt fire(I think flare gun stats for a firebolt could work, or Detonator without the AOE) plus you could do ignite on hit with any percent of the Meter active, that would immediately make it better and self reliant(10% of the meter for ignite on hit for 4 seconds could work). SVF could also get an alt fire attack like the Dragon's Fury Fireball, this allows for better options. I think a "plus 15% more damage vs burning foes" can also work. for the SOAS and SVf buffs, maybe a "start off empty, but wait 30 seconds or do 300 damage to recharge the meter, plus when meter is empty, hold alt fire to extinguish your allies(and yourself for Scout) for 10% change back" as a upside would make it very good to play with.

playing with this for a while I've learned that gas passer and neon annihilator combo well with degreaser or stock. You're basically playing support pyro, using area denial, taking picks (maybe while making area denial at the same time), and while being a pybro, but not as effective (only due to sappers taking 2 hits). To me I've really enjoyed doing this play style. The fact that I may not have the gas passer charged yet makes me play more carefully/defensively. When your team is pushing, it's great to throw the gas passer onto the enemies who are about to attempt a retreat, or the area they are going to retreat to. It also distorts their vision somewhat when you are doused in the gas from the gas passer, so I give it a thumbs up major buff for both weapons.
You want a name for this combo? *_Gas & Zap._* I will take full credit for it btw, thank you. Also petition to have Valve "fix a bug" where the Ambassador's crit damage gets worse at range.
I think if they also added an ignite on hit effect, to where it does 25 damage instantly and 50 if hit by a fire attack, it would both buff the volcano fragment, but also make this combo and the gas passer pretty decent in a way that will be noticeable on it’s own.

0:34 I’m pretty sure that engineer cosmetic is a community created cosmetic and the trans and bisexual flags were put there as an easter egg by the creator.
I think this will ultimately not end up mattering. We’re still talking about Pyro: The Point Blank Specialist. Flare punch already has this rivalled AND it has range. Sure it’s 90 vs 156 the enemy takes damage first anyway. Since flamethrower dps is kinda nutty, that 60 damage is done pretty quickly. It’ll be great for defending sentry nests though.
The desk engineer was just one of "those people" trying to hide those flags literally everywhere because they're mad valve won't just add a cosmetic that's just the flags, so they have to try and trick valve to get them to add their "representation"
You do realize the irony in your naming choice, in that neon is a noble gas-noble gases being famously unreactive, and therefore, not prone to igniting like fuel can.
I think a simple change valve could do to buff this combo (and the gas passer itself) is to make the doused effect continue to be applied even if the enemy is burning. This would make targets be reignited if they extinguish themselves until the gas wears off, and allowing the neon to do multiple hits on the same target. Of course valve wouldn't ever do this, but what-ifs are fun.
The lingering gas actually can still stick to people if they get ignited inside the cloud since the entire cloud doesn't ignite all at once This means if someone chips in on an enemy right in the middle of the gas they'll still be soaked and able to be crit
I was thinking "Man I wanna watch tf2...but I wanna watch something new about it hrmm" I clicked on UA-cam and this was the first thing in my recommended so you a real one
I always thought it was a bug, since all other throwables that coat an enemy have the same properties, just different effects. All the...substances...leave a dripping animation, extinguish burning teammates, and wash off in water. But the only one that didn't count as "wet" was the gas. Also they broke the throwing animation for pyro, it keeps throwing me OFF, I ALWAYS WAIT FOR THE THROWING TO START AND THEN SWITCH BUT IT ISN'T WORKING!
This will surely affect the trout population

To me I've really enjoyed doing this play style. The fact that I may not have the gas passer charged yet makes me play more carefully/defensively. When your team is pushing, it's great to throw the gas passer onto the enemies who are about to attempt a retreat, or the area they are going to retreat to. It also distorts their vision somewhat when you are doused in the gas from the gas passer, so I give it a thumbs up major buff for both weapons.
The thumbnail got me thinking I had a fart fetish video in my recommended for a split second.
I loved it when the pyro said "Its Gassin time!" And passed gas all over the place 🙏
This is why we need a pyro that just shoots a high pressure hose instead of a flame thrower
What the rain blower could’ve been
pyro should start life with a full gasspasser and recharge in 20 seconds like jarate
“Med’s gassy! Med’s gassy!”
I, too, am a fan of the individual who’s main characteristics being that of handiling flames’s new combination of objects used for combat. 🎩
I officially dub this combo "the fart pyro"

Not anymore, his Texan powers undid that continuity error.
Thank you for this good news
Gas passer moved from F- tier to D- Tier
And Neon annihilator moved from c tier to B- tier
I’d give gas passer D or D+ for funny factor honestly
This was quite literally what the Gas Passer needed
Fire + air + water= the avatar
I mean, Pyro with a flamethrower, a shotgun and the neon annihilator is basically the Avatar. Master of all four elements.
damm one of the combo names and the pyro dragons and the medic clips really rocks
0:24 so the update was community made maps like the Left 4 Dead 2 update? So the official new content is still dried up then?
So Pyro now has a Jarate-Bushwacka combo that's actually balanced by how long the Gas Passer takes to charge?
You want a name for this combo? *_Gas & Zap._* I will take full credit for it btw, thank you.
Also petition to have Valve "fix a bug" where the Ambassador's crit damage gets worse at range.
I love the neon annihilator, but sadly the gas passer is still the gas passer
0:34 dude don’t overthink it, it’s just a neat easter egg
Nah, dudes a fucking loser for hiding shit like that.
@@CarlosSoto-jy1xw He's a fucking groomer creep for adding that shit in the first place is what he is
I think if they also added an ignite on hit effect, to where it does 25 damage instantly and 50 if hit by a fire attack, it would both buff the volcano fragment, but also make this combo and the gas passer pretty decent in a way that will be noticeable on it’s own.
So where those PDFile flags snuck in by the creep who made the Engie cosmetic, or did Valve add that in? Cuz that's honestly disgusting, sneaking in your disgusting, predatory ideology into a cosmetic like that.
Probably the person who made it, valve hasn't really touched tf2 at all
@@humanbeans4498 I mean I imagine that Valve has to approve the cosmetic and port it into their game, and I assume they would have the tools to edit the 3d models / textures to whatever extent they deem necessary, so there's is a possibility of a sneaky PDFilic dev at Valve who snuck those PDFile flags into the game.
Or could be the guy who made the cosmetic as well, some friggin child-pervin' creep that want to hide it's disgusting predatory child-diddling ideology in this game
tldr; theres a possibility for either
pyroshark has legs now
wonders of evolution
fart cloud in thumbnail
The Neon Annihilatior and Gas Passer working together decently well is like the two kids in class who consistently get F's working together and getting a C
The engie flags are just a fun little Easter egg
Ah yes, forcing the artist's sexual perversions down people's throats is a "fun little easter egg"...
Yeah I found his response to it pretty cringe, critiquing the harmless representation rather than the backlash against it.
It's that type of dog whistling that enables some of the gross comments under the video
@@leonli844 It isn't "harmless representation", it's one-sided political pandering that has no place in a game like TF2.
@@numbersstationsarchive194 chat, is it political pandering to recognize marginalized groups?
@@Noobwater Yes, it is, and transsexuals are hardly a "marginalized group" in the West lmao
this is actually giant news for the flanksquad gimmick. bring a scout using milk and the sun on a stick and both of you can synergize off of eachother with pretty much every item in both of your loadouts
NeGa pyro is crazyyy
For real i want so bad that name let him cook🔥
Behold,
Go go gadget pocket pyro-pirahna.
Pyro Piranha sounds neat, not gonna lie
0:36 literally just to piss off people that get mad about that stuff
If that's the case, seeing some of the comments, it worked perfectly.
Totally not because it's their entire personality... just like you, based on your pfp
So your personality is... a picture of beans?
Baw ywn
Ah yes, because having someone's perverse crossdressing fantasies shoved down your throat in a cartoony ass game like TF2 is totally what everyone wants to see.
Spelunky HD ost? Lets fucking go
0:33 bruh why even add that in?
To get people talking and give it more attention. It’s weird af
It's so unnecessary because that trash is everywhere
@@humanbeans4498have you ever tried going outside
Cause the creator thought it'd be fun to add, like just as a personal touch. The argument goes both ways, that side of the cosmetic is not even visible in game so what's even the issue of having it.
@@perigord6281 Adding a gay /bi flag is not a personal touch, im bi and even i dont like it... If he wanted to add a personal touch he should have added in his signature or some personal symbol or pfp...
The "gas station combo" or "radiator springs combo" because gas and neon signs
0:34 I’m pretty sure that engineer cosmetic is a community created cosmetic and the trans and bisexual flags were put there as an easter egg by the creator.
I think this will ultimately not end up mattering. We’re still talking about Pyro: The Point Blank Specialist. Flare punch already has this rivalled AND it has range. Sure it’s 90 vs 156 the enemy takes damage first anyway. Since flamethrower dps is kinda nutty, that 60 damage is done pretty quickly.
It’ll be great for defending sentry nests though.
It's useless! 🎉🎉🎉
It’s also fun to run around with the Pyro Shark head during Full Moon and embrace the Landshark concept.
The desk engineer was just one of "those people" trying to hide those flags literally everywhere because they're mad valve won't just add a cosmetic that's just the flags, so they have to try and trick valve to get them to add their "representation"
stop using quotations and at least be honest about your dehumanizing hate
@@KatlynAG or what? I'll add quotations "wherever I want"
@@KatlynAG and if I'm wrong, prove it
You do realize the irony in your naming choice, in that neon is a noble gas-noble gases being famously unreactive, and therefore, not prone to igniting like fuel can.
0:40 Gotta get those DEI points, while also being discreet to not piss off the playerbase
I never thought I would hear the Spelunky soundtrack in a TF2 video of all places
Yea, I don't want to see the flags.
"Adding more watery maps to the pool."
Well done.
ewwww didnt knew they added that engineer cosmetic with child didler flags in it
transphobic bigot, hope you have fun being this miserable
Fym "child diddler flags"
Wow I have never been this early before, but I have been excitedly waiting for you to talk about this!
0:34 these are not necessary 🤢
But how is it disgusting?
The Gas Annihilator combo is the most fun I've had with Pyro since ever.
0:40 it’s called an easter egg
Garbage would be a better word
@@bananashoplifter3440why?
I think a simple change valve could do to buff this combo (and the gas passer itself) is to make the doused effect continue to be applied even if the enemy is burning. This would make targets be reignited if they extinguish themselves until the gas wears off, and allowing the neon to do multiple hits on the same target. Of course valve wouldn't ever do this, but what-ifs are fun.
The lingering gas actually can still stick to people if they get ignited inside the cloud since the entire cloud doesn't ignite all at once
This means if someone chips in on an enemy right in the middle of the gas they'll still be soaked and able to be crit
0:40 - the answer is narcissism
Modern TF2 is made up of 50% narcissist degenerates of various persuasions, 50% racists and 100% retards.
the answer is its a silly easter egg that people want to get mad at because they hate people existing
@@KatlynAG nah it's narcissism the guy just wanted good boy points for being "le inclusive" stop being so twittarded
I was thinking "Man I wanna watch tf2...but I wanna watch something new about it hrmm" I clicked on UA-cam and this was the first thing in my recommended so you a real one
The TF2 mercs are too based to support mental illnesses.
