Great format; it's calming and simple. I want to try this recipe to connect with Persian people's favorite dish and hopefully have more peace in the world through sharing culture.

I have the exact same recipe, with the exception of adding 1 cup of kishk. That gives an unbelievable flavor.

Thx so much for introducing my country’s most favorite dish to people😍 Though its original recipe is a bit different and the noodles we use are a type specially designed for ash reshteh.
Using spaghetti is a good idea for people who don’t have access to those noodles called “reshteh”.

What is Reshteh (noodles) made of? This is a very healthy (full of herbs and protein) dish.

@@Vik470 "Reshteh" is a whole wheat noodle. It is thicker than Spaghetti.

    • @gabrielel-assis4017

@@Vik470 Reshteh noodles are made from a basic unleavened dough rolled thin and cut into strips about 1/2 cm wide. In the old days and in provinces pastas were unavailable so each household did their own noodles. Nowadays reshteh noodles are mostly substituted by fettucine noodles.

My dear thank you for introducing Ash Reshteh. However the original recipe is different. We don't fry herbs after pouring water to beans we add herbs. The type of noodles are different too, we use special noodles for Ashley Reshteh that are available in Persian and Afghan stores. For garnishing we use fried onion, garlic and fried dried mint with some oil mix together and also Kash of course! Thank you though.

I’m sorry I don’t mean to be rude, but this is not Ash Reshteh at all !!! Thank you for trying to introduce one of our traditional foods but this is just giving the wrong recipe to those who don’t know about this food !! And think this is actually how it’s made.

There is more than 1 way to make any recipe!! So if you cannot say anything nice....Say nothing. Your anonymity is not a license to bad mouth people and be rude. I thought Persians had more class than that...….I know my husband has.
