- I know what you’re thinking, two heads of garlic, are you crazy! You can relax as the slow cooking of the garlic will dissipate the pungent flavor and leave a pleasing smooth note. This soup really has to be served with croutons or a slice of bruschetta, plus some coarsely chopped parsley for that freshness. A simple soup with amazing flavor and fantastic if you have a cold!

Yesterday I made the soup it came out beautifully a light green colour from the leeks, it was delicious 😋 I was hoping to save some for lunch today but we ate all of it yesterday.
I watch this when I need to relax for a few minutes, it’s so soothing with the rain and the music. I tried the soup and it was really good.

I make stilton soup in a similar way, just substitute the garlic for stilton. Other than that the recipe is the same. Its lovely. Going to try this one soon though, also looks good 😊

I've made the oven baked red chilli sauce shrimp pasta, and my wife loved it! Can't decide on the next recipe but i think this one will be it :)
I have tried this recipe sooo many times.. it's been one of my favourites now..!!
Just made this but with a few changes...
1. Did not blend the potatoes with the mixture, so they remain diced for heartiness.
2. Added some diced up grilled chicken.
3. Just a little white wine. (a chug or two lol..maybe a 1/4 cup)
4. A few pinches of poultry seasoning.
Turned out amazing!! Thank you!!!!
Finally got round to cooking this although I replaced the cream with creme fraiche. Normally I would try someone else's recipe exactly as they dictate, at least first time, but my heart condition means I avoid cream. Absolutely great soup and very straightforward to make. I look forward to trying other recipes from you.

Just finished making this. My family LOVED IT!!!! Thank you. This is really healthy too, WHO told to eat garlic, onions, potatoes and green vegetables for corona. I didn't have cream so I was really worried. But then I added 57g of butter and 178ml and slightly bit more of milk as a substitute, and a tablespoon of flour,and it was delicious!!!!!! Love this channel. I'll try the Asian immune boosting soup next.
