Can you eat the dried limes once they are soaked and cooked? I have been cooking middle eastern food for a while and realise they are used lot but nobody has ever answered that question.
In my country we use black dried lemon I am not sure if its the same Yes we can eat it after cooking and we can make it like tea, its healthy, but we prefer lemon tea with sugar

@@jkthebabystarcandy97 It doesn’t taste bitter when it is cooked well according to the recipe. If you don’t like lemons or lime then you may not like most Persian Dishes. However, I think you need to make this dish and try it or try it at a Persian restaurant. I have a lot of friends who judged it before trying this dish. Once they tried this dish, they loved it and then they learned how to make it.

Because the same people, with the same language and traditions live on the both banks of Araz river. And moreover remember Afshars and Gadjars, the royal dynasties of Persia. I can’t find dried limes anywhere. Can I use fresh limes instead??
I just checked and there are some videos on here showing how to dry your own at home, it's pretty easy to do 👍🏻
Are the dried lemons edible after cooking... What is the purpose of adding them?
Not edible, just to give a little sour flavor
Hi, I have almost all these ingredients except for the dried limes, what can I substitute. Fresh lime/lemon juice or I have preserved Moroccan lemons?
What is the name of the yellow side dish?
Tahdeeg.
Lovely...
واقعا دست مریزاد. از خانمها بهتر درست کردین. دمتون گرم. خیلی خوبه. فقط ایران که نیسیتن. درسته؟
