- The concept of the Global South is gaining traction in international relations, with China and other countries actively incorporating it into their rhetoric. China aims to bolster the BRICS grouping and assert the political leadership of emerging nations by introducing novel “global initiatives” focusing on development, security, and civilization. Simultaneously, India is also vying for leadership within the Global South, positioning itself not merely as a critic but as a crucial link to the Global North within the framework of the Indo-Pacific strategy. What are the core components of Beijing’s strategy towards the Global South? How can New Delhi leverage its pivotal position in this dynamic? Furthermore, what trajectory might the emerging blocs such as BRICS and the Indo-Pacific region follow in the future?

Maybe when it comes to how India never adopted a one-child policy? Just in terms of India's advantage now in some circumstances when it comes to higher over-all population and more young people. Nothing else as far as I can tell. This from asking my relatives as a Chinese person who lives in U.S. Even with the one-child policy, the stance is more like Chinese government implemented policy for way too long and less than ideal planning for problems with elderly care as a down-wind consequence.
